You have a decent argument for the most part, although I disagree with it, but this is just wildly out of touch. Some people have a negative net worth, struggle to make ends meet as it is, and would probably be using that $20 for their food for the day. And yes, we could have people like that in the VHL. If you're struggling to feed yourself and/or a family, a sim league like this is a great, free way to spend some time and escape for a little while.

I disagree. I think that new players seeing many existing ones at 1500+ TPE saw it as a daunting task to try and reach a level of competitiveness in a league with boys that big. As everyone across the board scales back, competing as a player with a few hundred TPE to their name should seem less daunting.

I like that a lot of what I've been suggesting is being put in place, even though I know they aren't being put in place because I suggested them and instead because I am the problem Long live Kastelic's TPE reign. May he not only be remembered as the "case study for TPE inflation" but also as "case study for effort".
