I'm tempted to test free agency after this season. I almost did it once with McWolf, but Esso traded for my rights and I extended in New York. I probably would have signed there anyway, so it didn't make sense to not extend before FA opened. But I'm tempted to do it for real this time. FA in the NHL is such a big day. It's pretty boring here, though. Most high-level players are too loyal, they just extend forever with the same team, until they get traded. Are they scared GMs are going to be mad at them for leaving in free agency? Then again, it could generally be seen as a dick move, if you blindside your team with your decision. Which is why I'm letting it be known in advance that I might want to have all my friends offer me contracts and I have to say no to all but one of them.
I disappoint my family on a daily basis, so why not internet friends too?
No one reply, the tampering police got bugs all over the place.
