Awww... @McWolfI honestly hoped at some point to play for you. Now, I guess I am hopeful to share a team with you sooner rather than later!

You made London United a truly wonderful franchise, respected team with a place where people where always put first! Hope your next steps in the VHL will only solidify your already everlasting footprint on the pages of VHL History! Cheers!

We sucked but we were proud to rep the Queen

  2. I'm low-key excited for the next chapter in the history of the London United. The team deserves a new direction, and we have a lot of members that equally deserve a shot a GMing in the VHL.

  3. I wasn’t even gonna do a post like this at first, but I figure I could use TPE from it anyway, so I might as well. I know a bunch of you are already aware of it, I haven’t been hiding it that much, with the “free from LDN” name on Discord and all that, but might as well make an official stepping down post so everyone is aware of it.

I mostly want to use this post to thank Bek and Quik for giving me a chance about two years ago now. I’m not gonna go around and thank everyone that’s been on the team or everyone I interacted with as a GM, but you know who you are. Thanks for everything in these last two years. I had fun messing up with lines, talking to prospects, fucking up simple maths with the Louth Rule and talking trades with a bunch of you. Thanks, really. Overall, I’m proud of what I accomplished at the head of London Plague. The results weren’t always there, and some of my moves might be questionable, looking back, but I still think I did my best to put the team in a good position.

That being said, London doesn’t have the brightest history. These last two seasons, I’ve been selfish, I knew I wasn’t as good a GM as I used to be, I wasn’t as passionate for it as I used to, but I really, really wanted to achieve something with the team. I didn’t want to leave with that tainted 0-4 all-time record in the playoffs. So I stayed on the team, despite the fact that I felt like I wasn’t even making the optimal moves for the squad. And I still have nothing to show for it. But I guess it’s part of my whole persona at this point. I have never won a single championship, neither as a player nor as a GM, in almost 4 years being (hyper) active in multiple sim leagues.

There’s still this run, right? If Prague could just falter somehow, I’d appreciate it. Or maybe Bek sends some playoff sim luck my way, for once?

For those that are wondering, I’m still around, I’m still active, and I’m retaining my position as VHLM Commissioner. I might not have been the most present this past season, but I stepped down from multiple jobs in the sim league stratosphere, and I purged a bunch of Discord servers I wasn’t really active in anymore, just so all my attention could go towards harassing these VHLM GMs.
