Last week, Blake Campbell hit a milestone that only one other player has hit in the entirety of the Victory Hockey League. Advantage is the only other manager in the leagues history to hit 1,000 wins as a general manager in the league and for him, it's very fitting. Good guy, good GM. It's awesome that he got to the milestone first and it will always be something he has on me (I am 15% jealous). The feeling was heard around the league. Blake Campbell, after the game against the Vancouver Wolves that got him the legendary milestone, was heard yelling in the locker room "Fuck yeah. Here we fucking go boys. Here we fucking go". After the game, he was seen driving out from the arena with Nickelback cranked, screaming the words to "rockstar". As time has gone on, he's struggled a little bit to get to the big milestone of tying Advantage with 1,006 wins and a few things could be to blame for that. We did a little science stuff and we knocked it down to the theory that the boys are a little nervous and are playing as such. They know how much it means to Blake Campbell and because of that, they're trying to hard and are in their heads a little bit. They need to focus on the game and just play how they've been playing. Today they got a W against the Vancouver Wolves (again). It seems to be the norm usually. Hopefully this is something that gets the ball rolling and has him steam rolling to final getting the monkey off his back. As it stands, he's at 1,003 wins. "It's a super cool milestone to hit 1,000 wins. Only one other person has done it in league history and while everyone knows that I loved playing the game as a player, I love it even more as a manager. The fact I hit this milestone blows my mind. Now I'm creeping up on Advantage and am 3 wins away and I don't even know how to express it without seeming like an asshole. I'm excited. I'm proud. I'm pumping my tires a little bit. To be number one, to hold the most wins in history for GM's and to do it a little quicker than the others is super neat. It's a wicked privilege. Again, struggling here a bit but it's crazy. I cannot wait to get it and I'm excited to grow that number so that Riga's hedgehog struggles to get the job done. Gotta blow them candles out on Beav too who is getting up there in age. Fingers crossed. Hoping for a strong finish to the season. GO BEARS!" The Seattle Bears have been struggling as of late and the schedule doesn't get much easier. What's even more crazy is how the top teams are all so close this season. Seattle just made a big trade that sent Ola Vikingstad to the Helsinki Titans for winger, Jim Bob. With the team already playing under their nerves and struggling to get their boss win number 1,0006 and 1,007, will this major shake up be a good thing for the team or will Jim Bob have nerves that only add to the teams tire fire? Something tells me no and it will start going the right way. All great things take time. This is something the Bears and Blake Campbell have done a great job at learning. 577 bye

Back at it again this week to blast out a VHL.com article and take out PBE affiliation while were at it too and we're doing it while my oven cooks my crispy, tender nuggets at 425F. Not gonna blab too much here, let's get into this weeks 3 thoughts. Trade deadline was quiet. Was there a move done by the VHL? I'm not too sure. I know, as always, the VHLM was firing some off. Did the usual GM's do the stupid 4th round pick trade that they make every season because "it's funny". I know HSK and myself made a pretty good, one for one, hockey trade. We sent Dil to HSK in exchange for Ruutu's player Jim Bob. Thinking now, I'll shut up. Might blab about bob later. Theme week was a kind of cool idea but damn it was even tough for me. I also found it fun that a lot of my team was Bear players from the past (and present). Something else I noticed is that I think cowboyinamerica made my team twice. Goes to show how awesome they are at making players and I guess as a person, lol. JIM BOB. We got him. FINALLY! It's been something I've been looking at for a while and if remembering correct, this isn't the first time his names come up for the SEA team. Certain reasons caused us to go looking and we found ruutu. He's always been a member that I've liked and I've always respected what he said and usually we align with them thoughts. I really, really hope his player does well in Seattle. It may take some time but with some good tweaking, I think he can have an amazing career here. THATS THE WORDS. CIAO.

Bana’s Quick Q’s No gif because commies suck. 1. What is something you want to get done this week? 2. What were your thoughts on the boring trade deadline? 3. What did you think of this seasons theme week? Who was your MVP on your team? 4. What do you think next seasons theme week should be? 5. A company wants to sponsor your player. Who is it? 6. Your player bought a pet. What did they buy? What did they name it?

Blake Campbell is a name that everyone knows in Seattle. He's the legendary GM that is breaking records and was once a pretty damn good goalie for the Stockholm Vikings and New York Americans who happened to win a Shaw and Continental cup as a player (and 5 as a GM). The name Isabella Campbell, though, may be a little less of a household name unless you're a Seattle Bears fan. I'm sure a strong VHL fan will know who she is, but again, she's been a little quieter this season due to her role and skill on the Seattle Bears team. As she graduated from the VHLM, she did so extremely well as she left behind a Houston Bulls team that was proud of how she played and what she brought to the team. She had a fairly strong season with the team and while they came up short in the playoffs, she still had a hell of a time. Graduating into the VHL is an amazing, special moment for every single player but for her, she's going up to the Bears. A place where her father has so much history. He's a legend. Will this help her? Will this excite her? Will she feel like she's playing in his shadow or will the pressure become too much? This season, she's performing a little lower than scouts had her playing. She has 9 goals, 8 assists for a total of 17 points in I believe 49 games played. Scouting had her sitting at 28 points by this time. Even when you say that out loud, was that a little high? Take a look around the league right now and a lot of players are playing above her who arguably either don't have as much skill, are the same skill, or are only slightly above her level. As the season progresses, it's rumored that her role is largely going to increase and she's even going to be taking over the 2nd line center role. This evidently became more clear when the team traded out the wonderful loyalist known as Ola Vikingstad, the champion who betrayed the Bear (Only playing around. Or am I?). Once again, we're brought back to her shadow and the pressure of performing (or lack there of). With us now, Isabella Campbell. "Wow, what a way to jump from a story to immediate statement. Uhm, I guess I will touch on everything briefly and then carry on with my day. I don't have too much to say but playing with Seattle, for my father and quote, in his shadow, doesn't really have me afraid of playing the game that I love. It excites me. Seattle is amazing and I get to do it with everyone that I love. That's special to me and I cannot wait to have the season dive deeper. Speaking of that, my play isn't the worst either but I definitely do want to kick it up a notch so that I can help out the team a little bit more. With me transitioning to center, that's going to be going on the back burner for a little bit but for me, that;s okay. I'm here to play my role. I want to win. I'm here for Seattle and they and my teammates will always come first. I'm so excited for the present and future of this team!"

Well shit. This is a damn tough. Firstly, good theme week idea. It might get people searching around the league, get them involved in history and surely would get the discussion going. However, for me it's tough. Do I go the easy route and pick my amazing Bears team? I know what people are thinking and they're also likely assuming that's the way most of us Bears are going to take. Can you blame us? I think all of us were consistently good throughout our entire careers or the portions that counted. Not only that, but it's a dream team. Some players dream of winning one cup. Most dream of winning two cups. These boys won 4. Because of this, it's made it pretty damn hard for me to name a single 3 F, 2 D and 1 G, so I've elected to go the route and do what they want - make an actual damn team. Let's get the first lines out of the way, hey? Acyd Burn - Scott Greene - John Frostbeard Hulk Hogan - Berocka Sundqvist Rayz Funk How can this not be your team? Each of these players were massive pieces to Seattle's success. Acyd Burn was there for a few cups and was an amazing person to have in the locker room. He was one of the guys I trusted most on the website and was unfortunately a casualty to the salary cap. He was an amazing teammates and I really hope he finds his way in a Bears jersey again. His player might not of been what he wanted it to be, but he brings so much more to the table. The same could be said on the flip side about Frosty boy. I talk to still on a fairly regular basis and I love how genuine and real the guy is. One of my favourite members on the site and you won't find many more people that can compete with his loyalty when on your team. This is gonna be dumb but you can say this about Dok, Hogan, Aussieman and Rayray too. These 4 boys are easily the most trusted people I have on this site. They've dealt with much of the teams shit, put up with my shit and we're even there for one another on a personal level. These guys are legends. Bears legends and league legends. They've made history that may not even be repeated again and will always be remembered as potentially the best, if not one of the best, dynasties to ever happen in this league. Right when people thought we were done and out, when age would catch up to us or the salary cap would fuck us, we found a way out and found a way to remind the league that we are the champions. This group of players - can't top them. You really can't. Way too many levels here, folks. 6 onions. Peel those bastards. And now for the fun, a quick team made up of people off the top of my head to make the finale portions of the team. This group is strictly off the top of my head. No searching. When I think great players, they gotta stick in your brain. Let's wrap this baby up! Gabriel McAllister - Franchise Cornerstone - Matt Thompson Jeff Hamilton - Black Velvet Hans Winsgate Maybe a little bit of biased here but McAllister and Thompson were very amazing, very dominant players. It just so happened they were also Bears. Each had amazing careers, both ended up in the HoF but each brought something special/magical/orgasmic to the league. Cornerstone was a toss up. I initially had Scotty Campbell there because he's number one in the league for many things. He was also the simmer and my inner gorlab tells me some of it is likely bull shit. Even if it wasn't, I feel like Cornerstone was just as amazing in a different era of the league and for me, I'd take him any day of the week. Absolutely amazing player. Hamilton and Velvet would be a strong duo on the blue line. Storied with multiple awards and celebrations, both also found themselves in the HoF. Both are respected, oldie members and I mean, you cannot go wrong with either. I'd throw these 2 on the blue line together any day of the week and I betcha they'd give everyone else's team a massive run for their money. Lastly, Hans winsgate... He's my 1B here.. Maybe 1A? Ray wasn't always the best in the regular season but was the best goalie to ever play in the playoffs. Winsgate was the opposite. I think he was pretty epic in playoffs too, but his numbers speak for themselves. THE END

We already have one and believe me, he’s enough. Good luck with the player!
