I’ve always liked the little things that Flyers done with his VHL.com articles. It seems like after many, many, many seasons of writing, it’s getting a little tougher these days to write the same thing after same thing over the years and then be happy doing it. I feel like with Flyers form of article, there’s at least always something to write about, it’s kind of changing, and to get a streak going of some form would be fun too. Plus, I’ve never done an article on the iPhone until last weeks and it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Could I be a faster texted than typer? Unsure. Anyway, let’s crack some word count, get this thing wrapped so MexicanCow can update it and cap the week. 1. Vancouver things - season is still young and it wouldn’t be the first time the Wolves have found themselves starting hot only to slow down pretty hardcore. That and when I look at their roster and compare to others, I sense they’re playing above their TPE levels. We all know STHS works how it works and picks what it wants with the VHL. Could this be it or is it STHS becoming legalized? 2. Davos doing things - Mostly outing this here because Ray went over there and we wish him a strong final season, losing the finals and Kanou to Hogan. That was not a joke, homies. We wish Ray 99% 100% good luck. 3. Goalie Log Jam - There’s a lot of damn goalies in these league and similar to real life, way less positions yet just as many people trying to get involved. I expect this log jam to continue and wreak havoc on the leagues goalie community. I think backups are going to become more of a thing and maybe you’ll see more teams playing their goalies more which could have a fun effect on goalie stats. Also, maybe could raise VHLM goalie cap to 300-350 to help fight this? Might get goalies stuck in M a little more which you can’t afford, but just trying to find a good balance to help the log jam flow a little better? That is the end.

3. Absolutely heartbroken. I know a lot of people in there have been around for sometime, have made great players and are really passionate about coming together to win. I know the pain CGY felt too. 12. Is really like to see another team in Stockholm. China would be sweet too. Outside of them... maybe Edmonton or Arizona.. those wouldn’t be bad and would be unique (Arizona maybe hehe). 16. Easily my mountain trip we just went on. Beautiful views, no stress, good people, great fishing.. it’s paradise for me. 18. ribs.. love spaghetti as a side, hehe. Can never go wrong with chilli either. Dip some Doritos in that shit. 16. I am rooting for Malmo. I hope they do the best for expansion teams this season.

Hello, I am basically on my final day of vacation despite not actually leaving until tomorrow and not going back to work until Thursday the 24th. The smoke and hot tub leaking have been kind of shit but overall the trip has been a nice getaway from the stress and anxiety at home/work/life and has been a lot of fun too. We’ve gone much deeper into trying out luck fishing her and are having a much better time with it. Onto the VHL side of things, the off-season has once again ended and despite it being a crazy one for the Bears, we managed to get through and on paper, have a really great team. Yes, Vancouver is in 1st but I’m basing everything off TPE here and saying they’re playing ahead of themselves. We’re starting off cold but that’s normal for us. We also just won the cup and have a new goalie trying to find his feet as the starter. Entering my 26th season, a few cool things either have happened or could going to happen this season. Firstly, I just moved myself into 2nd place for all-time wins amongst GM’s. Just a reminder, I did this all with one team, during 1 single tenure, unlike a majority of other GM’s on the all-time lists. I passed Bushito’s 973 wins and sit at 975. I feel like I passed him a long time ago. When he was around he was a pretty good and smart GM. Unfortunately, his heavy ass was carried for MANY, MANY seasons and his statistics don’t actually fully reflect what he truly did. People didn’t a crazy amount of work for him towards the end of numerous tenures. Those wins belong to other people. I think I’m also closing in on 100 playoffs wins. This one I don’t really care much about lol Lastly, 1st for wins and doing it in 1 less season. 1,006 is where ADV sits. 975 (as said before) is where I believe I sit. HERE I COME.
