I have a lot of work to do if I want to be in net as a start in the VHLM, much less in the VHL. It turns out that as a member, I'm rusty. I botched the trivia because I thought I got 2 capped just for submitting. I missed the VHLM practice facility because I simply forgot it existed. I held off on my rookie profile and bio because I thought it would be better to have it later. I don't remember how to maximize my TPE in the VHL and as a result, I'm already falling down the draftee rankings. It's only the second week since I entered. I fell in the rankings in my FIRST WEEK in the league. That's not a good sign. I think the truth of the matter is, I will be hoping for some sim luck. It doesn't seem like I'll be able to match the top draftees TPE totals or earning potential. I'm finding myself confused about things and not really wanting to ask for clarification. Hopefully it gets approved, because it's true, but I don't know where that TPE went after I bought it. It's just gone, into the ether. I want it on my player. So I don't think I'll have the same TPE as others, but maybe, since I'm a goalie, I'll just have some really good sim luck and perform well with less TPE. Or, maybe there are enough good goalies that I'll just be a backup forever like Threeencarnacion or whichever Encarnacion was a backup goalie for his career. That does sound boring though. The most important thing is this: I think I have enough words to get TPE for this now.

I helped implement the largely successful two player project, served as VHLM Commissioner, ran the VHL magazine for a bit, did some sigs for people. These are all super valid reasons that I should be in. Oh and also GM'd the Toronto Legion three-peat, the first and only of it's kind! /s

Tried to cap last week and failed lmao. Is it smart to do bio/RP now, or until I'm going past the cap for VHL?

I don't care where I get drafted, if I get that far. 4. I mean that would be the end goal, yeah, if I can stay active. If not, undrafted or backup is fine. 5. Um. No? I can't get a starting job lol. 6. It's ok. I think updating is simpler/more intuitive for me in the SBA.

I don't think a GM job is a good fit for me

I'm trying again. No promises. For someone who has tried so many times to be in the VHL, I have certainly failed a large number of times. Odds are certainly toward me failing again. My first player was Jarkko Olsen, who I was active with, went inactive, then came back later and salvaged some of the end of his career as a role player. I had A.C. Savage, who was built as a fighter in a sim engine with no fighting. He was inactive or retired early for sure. I had Max Molholt, my only good player and my only good tenure in the league. Three-peat, blah blah. Since then I've had so many failed players or false starts. So why is Sawchuk different? Short answer: Probably isn't. Longer answer: I still don't know much about hockey. I still don't follow hockey. When I was here with Max, I at least was enjoying the NHL games and that kept me interested. Now, however, they got rid of the online franchise in that series, so I don't even play those. I'm also busier in my personal life nowadays. I've also been running the SBA for a long time, which kept me busy, but now I've stepped down from some of those responsibilities, though I'm still simming. So on one hand, that free time should give more time for the VHL. On the other hand, its more free time I can spend trying to create something new. Or doing side things like the wrestling sims I've done, or D&D, etc. I guess the odds for me staying active are right in the middle. I want to be, but I make no promises. I can surely get 6 TPE .a week from welfare, but I have a hard time settling for less than the max. If I'm here, I want to be plugged in for the max. If I fall behind on that, I may just walk away again. We'll see. I'm mostly rambling. Already I don't have things to talk about or anything interesting to say. That isn't a good sign for me. But, I'm here, and I'm trying for now. Let's see where it goes.

Fresco was one of my draftees (Sean Blacker), not sure if he survived long enough to make one of those cup teams. LSP was on those teams, but I don't even remember his username. St. Pierre was the player. Clegane was in goal for our chance at the four-peat that we lost in 51. Reencarnacion filled in some, Hyvarinen too, so we had Tagger or w/e he goes by now and d_a. I can't remember others tbh

I get that it's dumb to be annoyed by a notification - we dealt with this in the SBA too. But the SBA at least does them for announcements. Though, if it's fine for a member to just use it wherever they want, I'm about to have some fun
