Candidates: Joseph McWolf Robert Malenko Maxim Kovalchuk @McWolf McWolf, in only his 2nd VHL season, amassed 16 goals and 62 assists for a total 80 points while playing for the up-and-coming New York Americans. Defensively he blocked 189 shots, and threw 205 hits. He was the only star on a desperate New York blueline, and he shined, coming clutch in big games when it was needed.

Candidates: Joseph McWolf Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebrunette Maxim Kovalchuk @Banackock Kovalchuk led the league in +/- with a +50, had 139 shots blocked, 193 hits, and registered 69 points on top of that. He was a major part of Seattle’s strong defensive core that led them to 1st place in the league. With his outstanding plus 50 he was rarely on for a goal against, and helped his team score, or he always rushed to get off of the ice before Dahlberg scored on a breakaway.

Candidates: Robert Malenko Ryan Kastelic Joseph McWolf @pennypenny Who would have thought that with 106 point Robert Malenko would have all 8 votes for the Alexander Valiq Offensive Defenceman Award right? Malenko absolutely tore up the league this year with his league leading 85 assists. This man can do it all and putting up absurd amounts of points is no exception. Well deserving of this award.

Candidates: Kallis Kriketers Norris Stopko Alexander Pepper @Bushito It is no surprise Stopko wins here... Stopko has been an exception goalie all throughout his career and this final season was no different. Other than an absured 10 and 2 record in the playoffs with a .940, the legendary netminder put a 0.930 up in the regular season. *Tips hat*

Candidates: Ryan Power (TOR) Benjamin Zeptenbergs (RIG) Matt Bailey (HSK) @Quik Bailey led the 3rd place Titans to the VHL Finals, defeating the post-season favorites (The Riga Reign) in the semi finals before being, unfortunately, swept by the Toronto Legion in the championship round. Bailey made many moves throughout the regular season, and acquired some of their essential pieces like The Charm, Roctrion King, and many other picks that enabled them to defeat Riga. Helsinki can only go up from here and their window for winning is just opening, and Bailey is the perfect man to lead them.

Candidates: Ryan Sullivan Jr. Brick Wahl Randoms @Advantage Ryan Sullivan Jr. proved this year that he was well worth the first selection in last seasons VHL Draft. The rookie blue liner not only had the second most points for rookies with an outstanding 56 points, he had an excellent performance defensively with the young team New York is. Expect great things from this young man in the near future.

Candidates: Beau Louth Alexander Pepper Veran Dragomir @Beaviss To say Beau Louth thrived from his teams adjustments is an honest understatement, and GM Beaviss provided a change that Louth seemingly desperately needed. He scored 45 goals, which was the 4th most in the league and notched 50 apples for a total of 95 points, 40 more than the 55 points that he got last season. He didn’t just improve on his offense though. He blocked 29 shots this season, +10 from last season and was a +26, a huge increase from the -1 he was at the end of last season.

Unanimous Decision Norris Stopko @Bushito Stopko was well… unstopkoable (hah, see what I did there…. Why aren't you laughing? It's called humor…) in the playoffs. He went an absurd 10-2 in the playoffs, being the main reason why Toronto advanced past Quebec and Seattle and swept Helsinki in the finals. During the S64 playoffs, he also posted a 0.940 save % and a 2.51 GAA along with a single shutout. This has been perhaps his strongest post season ever, and concludes an amazing career for a legendary goaltender. Farewell!
