I still have no idea why I am still on the VHL. I have been here quite some time, not as long as others but still for many real life years. Time and time again I come on to the site and I think, why am I even here? Like what draws me in to keep me around for so long? Is it the fact that I actually enjoy the community? Is it because I just love causing drama between around the boards or now in the discord? I can't necessarily pinpoint what actually draws me in but there has to be something. I mean for someone to spend almost six real life years on a forum seems a bit much if you ask me. I for one have enjoyed some time here and others I just show up just to say I did. I have done the work and I have sat back and watched. Now luckily for me it is easy to keep me around. I guess that could be a good thing as I don't have to work as hard anymore. I ask to anyone who may end up reading this, what makes you VHL? What keeps you coming back? What do you like about the site? Feel free to let me know why you spend time here and what you enjoy about the site.

So why not set everyone up with like 100TPE bots to play goalie? That would solve the problem of when you defer those from playing goalie and teams can still have a decent goalie.

But what if it was a mutual decision though? Like I don't think a GM would strong arm another member into it. Like if someone feels they want better playing time but say someone has 6 active forwards and like one or two active defenders. They could then swap to defense and help out. It would be a decision made by themselves for the better. I'm certain there is some people out there who probably wish that they could do so right now.

But what if they want to go a different route ahead of time. Say their team is already loaded at a position and they want to move to something else to help the team out? Could be beneficial for both sides involved. This is aimed at those past the two weeks.

I propose we let one happen in the VHLM for free. Why you may ask? What if someone want to change up their position so they can get a better draft position? I mean think about it. If someone is a forward and defense is in high need in the draft, they can swap and probably get picked higher up. Also would work the other way around. This would help out anyone who may not be enjoying the position they picked and they could opt out. Of course this would only apply to forwards to defense or vice-versa.

The Oslo Storm hasn't really looked as good as they should have this season. That can be in part to the team not being able to mesh together and it seems like they need to remedy that problem. The GM hasn't placed the right players with each other on the proper lines so they can get the best results. Things are not as they seem but the next round of games to be played by the Storm should give off better results as they have been putting in more work with each other. The GM has told the team that they must get their act together and they need to play their best hockey. This team has it in them to be the best in the league and to hopefully win a championship. Let's just hope that they do enough over the course of the season to put themselves in good shape for the playoffs. The team so far is sitting on a 1-3 record but looks can be deceiving very early on.
