  1. You're mediocre @Victor
  2. What in the actual what
  3. Just hand out 15 minimum to everyone and those who earn more, can claim that. Seems like it could be a great idea imo.

  6. No one cares about HHH
  7. Dallas Jones Defense Points +/-
  8. 1. It's good to see that most of the new guys coming through the VHLM will get a chance to play on something other than the fourth line. As for the VHL, another team for those in the minors to graduate to. 2. Depends if it was the minors or not. The minors would be to try and bring in anybody who wanted to play. For the VHL, it would be to build through the draft. 3. Saskatoon will be the team to do so 4. Davos will always be #1 to me 5. The guy who won two cups on two different teams 6. Come join the VHL dude, it's fun and the people enjoy being trolled haha (to some extent)
  9. @oilmandan You mean Sven Hitz?
  10. The Glow Up: Dallas Jones Biography Childhood: Dallas Jones was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He is the son of former VHL star Davey Jones and he has the pedigree to become a future VHL star himself. After Davey had retired he moved himself and his wife to Florida where they would start their life. Little did they know they would be expecting a little guy as a part of their family. They had went through names and settled on Dallas before they knew that they would be expecting a boy. During his years growing up, Dallas would start learning hockey at a young age from his father. Davey wanted Dallas to be ready for the VHL when the time was right. He knew that his career wasn't as long as he wanted it to be but he is hoping that his son will be able to play longer. Dallas started growing at a pretty fast rate and it seemed like he would be taller than his father was. Davey knew Dallas would be much bigger than he is and wanted to prep him to be a defender. Not really knowing much about the defensive side of the game except from what he saw in others, he tried to do his very best. Upbringing: During his early years before becoming a teenager, Dallas had grown to be six feet tall. He was already one inch shorter than his father and it seemed like he would end up getting taller over the years. He started playing hockey heavily with some of the kids at the local ice rink and while it may have been a scrimmage game, it seemed as if Dallas always took it as a competition. He wanted to be better than everyone else and he showed it. His friends saw him when he played and it seemed like they were always complimenting him on his game and the way he played. They knew that Dallas would end up being a star and it seemed like they just embraced him as one of their friends instead of someone who will eventually be a star hockey player. They knew of Davey from Dallas telling them stories about his father and how he was a pro hockey player. Dallas really made his impression upon his new friends and soon they would end up hanging out at Dallas' home regularly and they would a watch movies together and play games. They would always be playing NHL a lot but once in awhile they would be playing something else. High School: Things got a little more interesting for Dallas when he hit high school. He would try out for the varsity team as a freshman and he would end up making it. He had grown to six feet and three inches before ninth grade had started out. The coach had seen his size and knew exactly what he had in store for Dallas. He would start off as a second line pairing and he would end up soaking up a lot of information about the game that year. When his sophomore year came around, he would end up on the top line and things would go better for him. He started working on his defense a lot more. He wanted to start getting more involved offensively and had been working on his passing. In his final two years he would end up playing in every single game and the team would end up going to the state championship both years and they would win both. In Dallas' senior year, he would win the MVP of that championship game and he had plenty of scouts who would be looking at him to come play for their college. Dallas had talked it over with his father and he wanted to do college but he wanted him to head to the VHLM. He would end up doing his college online. VHLM Career: Things started out bumpy for Dallas as he would start his career as a second line defender for the Saskatoon Wild. While he didn't amass much stats, he did end up winning a ring with the team. He got to meet some great people and he made some lasting friendships. After the year ended he would go on to be drafted to the Oslo Storm. Primed to be a great addition to the team, Dallas was hoping to be a star for the team. That dream faded away quickly as the Oslo Storm would struggle for most of the season before Dallas would end up being shipped off to the Ottawa Lynx. Being on a team that is loaded with talent is always a fun scenario and he is just hoping to bring home one more ring before he ends up getting drafted. Things are looking pretty good right now but Dallas needs to pick up his game if he wants to help this team do things in the playoffs. Only time will tell if he can be good enough to help out. His minors career will end at the end of the year when he will be drafted, so hopefully he can capitalize on the team's success. VHL Outlook: Calgary Wranglers: Agent Trifecta really don't like the franchise but he wouldn't mind playing there. Things look like a rebuild is coming but he Dallas playing for Calgary wouldn't happen due to Calgary wanting Stropko Jr. HC Davos Dynamo: Some place that Dallas would be more than welcome to be drafted to and the franchise that his father played for. Things look like a reunion could be in order. Well here is to hoping right? Helsinki Titans: I don't think they would have the draft pick to grab Dallas but Helsinki would be a cool place to play. New York Americans: Another team that Dallas would love to play for. The thing is he isn't quite sure if the franchise would be willing to bring him in. Quebec City Meute: No. Riga Reign: A reunion for this franchise could be in order and things could be fun here. Seattle Bears: Not quite sure how this would happen but I am not for certain that I would want to play here again. Toronto Legion: Still a team Dallas would love to play for but they don't have a pick to grab Dallas. Expansion Team: Sure sign me up for this team. It's Victor am I right?

  13. @Poptart you plug
  14. Ever since I signed up to be the GM of the Oslo Storm, my plan was to find a new person and groom them to take over in a season or two. Things were a little bit bumpy with the first assistant that I tried to take on. It eventually lead to him leaving Oslo and heading over to Halifax to be the assistant over there. Next came up assistant number two. Things were looking decent to start but the willingness to learn things were completely exempt and the need to contact other GM's without my knowledge kind of hurt the relationship there. He was fired immediately and then I thought I had ran out of options. Luckily one final member stepped up to claim the duty and I couldn't be more please with his enthusiasm and his desire to be a GM. Still kind of new at the GM'ing gig himself, (only doing it in the WJC's), he wanted to take on a team full time. I had finally found my proper replacement and I wish him nothing but the best moving forward. Thanks for being the guy to lead Oslo (soon to be Minnesota), moving forward @Eudaldkp.
  15. Well can't really call you a beggar.
  16. A scrub you have thought about taking on this draft.
  17. 1. I'm a little late with this but I say World and because I feel we are underrated but deep. 2. Second place and I see Ottawa winning it all tbh 3. If I am being honest, I think I am doing a pretty decent job. I'm not much of a scorer, but I play defense as intended. 4. That's really hard to say as any team could surprise just as much as the next. 5. I see myself drafted to any team except QC/Vancouver because I am just not a fan of the franchise. I hope to maybe be a starter too. 6. My own question used against me? Alright, I'd say mainly the community and the drive to get that hall of fame player I would have to say.
  18. I wouldn't be against a Davos reunion
  19. You can say your player clearly isn't and I can say I won't retire my player. How can either of us be trusted then with that logic?
