@Higgins - Getting three cups under you had been amazing. You took over for Bushito when he went missing and helped GM the infamous season 43 Bears to a cup. That was an amazing run and it will never be forgotten. Then getting to play for you in Helsinki was even more amazing. Both teams had my goalies and it was nothing short of fun on both squads. So I say thank you for helping me get three cups. @Beketov - Thank you for stepping up and taking on the role of commissioner. I was one of your biggest supporters for you making the BoG and on top of that being a commish. I know others out there were on the same side but it's always good when someone who had been here for so long finally gets some real good things going for them. You were the underdog for so long and you finally came out on top. @Will - Thanks for the portal and all the continued work on it. You took on a lighter workload but it has been pretty awesome. I know I was against using the portal for so long but after some time I finally came around to the idea that it would help the league move forward. Things have been smooth sailing since then and I just wanted to say thanks for all that you do bud.

@Victor - First off, how about you come back to the GM game? I mean seriously without you as a GM, things just don't feel right. The VHL needs you to come back and help lead a dynasty the right way and I couldn't think of anyone better to lead said dynasty. @STZ - I don't know if you still check the site every so often or not, but hopefully you come back to us one day. Things just aren't the same anymore without you here man and it would be pretty awesome to have you back as even just a member on the site. @Bushito - I know that you have the finish line in your sights but hopefully you at least just pop on to keep in touch after you leave sim leagues. You were one of the best GM's I played for despite being a short period of time and your disappearance act but nonetheless, still a great guy to chat with. @Quik - I have no doubt in my mind that you will do great things as the GM of the Helsinki Titans. It was cool playing with you back in the 30's even though you left, but since you have been back, you have been one of, if not the best member the league has had in some time. Keep up the awesome work boss.

I would like to first off apologize to the VHL community. Granted I had nothing to do with the situation, but I feel like his situation during the draft kinda escalated further into what eventually got him banned on discord and the actual VHL site. I feel like FamishedBlanket aka Donat Szita felt that it would be a good idea to cause problems on the VHL's discord which would be the deciding factor for his career. While it's a shame that he is banned, it also hurts knowing that I spent the fourth overall pick on him but it happened. I know in hindsight that I should have avoided that pick and somehow managed to move him, but I was willing to roll the dice on a guy I knew could be a problem. I didn't do my homework when it came time to prospects and it really backfired here. Now Oslo is still a strong team and will manage to push through this catastrophe and we will keep aiming for the sky. I guess this could be a blessing in disguise as who knows what kind of issues he could have caused around site had he stayed any longer. Well I wish him the best and hopefully he learned his lesson on what to say and what not to say.

The Oslo Storm recently just came out of the draft with a huge win. They had moved up to the second overall selection from the fifth to solidify a player on the team. This team was allegedly in a rebuild last season but things worked out great with how they went. This team made moves and added nine new players to the roster via the top 18 selections of the first three rounds. With goaltender being one of the most in demand this draft, Oslo sought after the best and brought him in. The team needed help everywhere and it seems like this draft so far has been a home run. If the activity levels remain the same among all the players, this team could be looking to be real championship contenders. Right now on paper they look like the best team but it will also rely upon the additions via free agency and the waiver wire. Hopefully Oslo can capitalize on some players that could be some real key contributors and this team can sail off with a cup in hand. Also the lineup management will play a huge role but I would like to personally welcome each and every drafted to the Oslo Storm. @Eudaldkp @Tim @FamishedBlanket @SwagSloth @Ty343 @DilIsPickle

@Dvich86 Oslo can offer some pretty good playing time as well on a competing team with some of the better players in the league.
