  1. There has been some buzz around Reapers starting goalie Wendy "Kandee" Cain, with lots of teams noticing her skill and growth, and her big "assets" and would love to add her to their squad. Multiple sources have confirmed Philly GM Blade has been asked if she was looking to move Cain, and we asked Cain what she had to say about it. Here is here answer: "Yeah I heard the boys are sniffing around to see if they can get a piece of Kandee, there's a reason I bought a condo in Philly. I told the GMs at the draft to fuck off, and I went to where I wanted to in the draft and my GM was able to get some good pieces before swooping around and picking me up late. I want to be in Philadelphia and play for the Reapers. They are a good team with good people, and have a fun locker room. Even if they speak French or are Latvian or cheer for Buffalo (ew) or have kids or are named Walter (Who the fuck names their kid Walter..?), they are still a loveable bunch with heart and a drive to win. No other team has the atmosphere that Blade built in Philly. Did you know Saskatoon doesn't even have custom emojis in their LR? How the fuck am I supposed to express that I'm sad without a blastoise pepe?? Seriously. Get some god damn custom emojis before you even THINK about offering a trade for me. Anyways, Go Reapers, Fuck Houston, and unless you offer four first round picks for me have fun seeing me play for the other team and being jealous. Ta ta~" Well there you have it, Wendy's statement on trade rumors. See you all next week.
  2. Now that we have played a few games, what do your think our team strengths and weaknesses are ? What are your suggestions? If your entire team had to do an Ironman Triathlon (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run), who would finish first and last respectively? Would your rather be more talented or have a high "Hockey IQ" Best hockey player of all time and why? Best quote from your Twitter feed that you posted after a game. If you could steal the skills of any active player in the league, from who would you steal? 1. As a team, our strengths are our good looks and ability to flirt with fans. Weaknesses, well, winning. 2. Walter would finish last, because he's fat. I would finish first because a strong man would carry me. 3. I don't need to choose, I have everything. 4. My brother Aleister Cain. Because he's the best. 5. I don't post about games, only about relationships. 6. I would steal Walter Clement's big cock with my mouth
  3. No one reads this shit anyway just let the man write in French and as long as it matches the word count who caresssssss
  4. What teammate of yours is the best to follow on Twitter, and why? What is the most bizarre question you have been asked in a press conference during your career and who asked it? Who would win an arm wrestling competition on your team? Who is the biggest practical joker on the team and who gets picked on the most? A story of the best prank pulled would be nice. What is the craziest thing a puck bunny has ever done for your attention? What was your first car? 1. I have a pretty good twitter account, I mostly retweet my favorite celebrities and hot hockey player selfies. If you're hot and play hockey then hit me up in my DMs 2. Someone asked me what my cup size is. Ok thats a lie. No one asked me but I told them anyway. 3. Me. I've been training my arms every day for years, I have a strong grip and know how to win over any man, or lady 4. I play great pranks. I let the air out of their tires, put hot sauce in their jock strap, butter up their soap in the shower. I'm hilarious. 5. I'm the puck bunny 6. I stole my brother's car for a joy ride and totaled it.
  5. Kandee Cain faced what we hope will be a career high 67 shots in a game against the Bulls, and though it was an exhibition game, we wanted to see her comments on the defense that was played and how she hopes they adjust to help her in the future. Kandee had this to say in a press conference following the game: "I love when boys give me attention. 67 shots, it means they really want me. The more pucks I see the better, as you can tell I was able to get most of them. I'm mad at myself that it isn't 67 saves, but next time it will be. As for the defense, they are still learning. I'm going to yell at them to motivate them to do better, but in the end we are learning a new system and getting used to being in positions. It's not their fault. I just have to put them on my back. I'm used to being ridden, it's a position I put myself in often. If they aren't on top of me, I'll be on top of them. So bring it Houston, shoot 67 times again. They were shit shots and next time I'm not going to let any past me."
  6. Wendy never had it easy growing up. Born just ten months after her older brother Martin, and four years younger than then oldest brother Aleister, she was already competing for her parent's attention with two rambunctious boys. They all fell in love with the sport of hockey, and unfortunately that was an expensive endeavor. Aleister and Martin would get brand new gear for Christmas, and Wendy would get Aleister's goalie hand me downs. She was always the odd one out when her brothers would play street hockey with friends, and eventually she had to break off from them and find her own friends. Through high school she went through a lot of boyfriends, many were her hockey player teammates, but nothing could make up for the need for attention from her family. She was always in the shadow of Martin and Aleister, and never felt like the center of attention in her hockey player family. She played in high school, taking up the starting role on Varsity after her brother graduated, and playing with her brother Martin for the entire four years. Her brother Aleister left for the SMJHL when he was drafted 87th overall, last in the draft, to St. Louis, and a year later drafted to Edmonton in the SHL draft. His career has been quite unusual, winning two cups with St. Louis before being exposed by Edmonton in the SHL Expansion draft. Wendy was unable to attend the expansion draft where Aleister went first overall to New Orleans, but it was a very emotional moment for the whole family to finally prove the worth of the Cains. Once Aleister left and it was just Martin and Wendy, they became more distant and eventually Wendy had to learn that no one cares for her but herself. A tough lesson to learn at such a young age, but an important one nonetheless. Martin was called off to the inaugural season of the NSHL, and with Aleister telling her explicitly not to follow his path into the SHL, Wendy was left to her own devices with limited options to play hockey. She took to the road, leaving Chicago and her reputation of "puck bunny" behind her, for greener pastures in Saskatoon. She tried out for the local VHLM team and made it as backup, partly due to her charm and partly due to their need for a better back up. She knew she had a lot of work to do, but starting fresh in another country felt right for her and she wanted a new identity, rebranding herself as Kandee Cain. She ditched Wendy's temperamental and reserved personality for the seductive, sly, charismatic persona of Kandee. This allowed her to rise through the ranks and with her new contract in the books, the world was her playground. Wendy decided that she had no future in Saskatoon and after learning of the upcoming VHLM expansion, decided she wanted to be the face of the Philadelphia Reapers netminding for seasons to come. This came as a shock to many of her friends and especially her brother Aleister, who went through multiple drafts and was happy to play for any team that wanted him. Wendy decided then and there that she would choose her own destiny, and if it meant her draft stock plummeted, so be it. Buying a condo in Philly that summer and moving in, she denied a call on draft day from Minnesota, who were interested in her goaltending skills. She instead knew the Philadelphia GM would make the right decision and build a team first, before picking Wendy up at the end of the draft. Wendy was very happy to have a familiar face in Walter Clements in the locker room, one of her summer flings, and a decent hockey player at that. She became an instant favorite in the locker room and while she can get emotional at times, she wants to win first and foremost, and is ready to do what it takes to get there. Wendy's Playing Career: Wendy filled in for her brother who graduated the year before, playing in net for the Whitney White Dolphins. Her brother had a terrific high school stint and she had a lot to live up to. She struggled the first year as a lot of talent had left with Aleister, and only posted an .890 save percentage and a 3.05 goals against average. Luckily in her second year the defense got etter, with her brother Martin filling in on defense instead of the normal forward role he usually has. Wendy was able to have a respectable season, with a .914 save percentage, a 2.35 goals against average and a trip to the Chicago high school ice hockey playoffs, unfortunately falling in round two to the Ray Tech Cherokee. Her playoff numbers were good until round two, and in total she had a .906 save percentage and a 3.60 goals against. Her junior year saw another miss of the playoffs, as the team struggled again. Wendy didn't though, sometimes keeping her team in games and standing on her head, unfortunately the scoring firepower wasn't there. She had a .916 save percentage and a 2.30 goals against average but unfortunately saw no postseason action. The next year saw redemption, as she had an amazing season with a .929 save percentage and a 2.16 goals against average. While her numbers were steadily improving, so were her brother Martin's who switched back to forward and had a respectable season as well, finding his own defensively and had an outstanding giveaway/takeaway ratio. The playoffs saw some struggles, as they were almost swept in the first round, but came back to reverse sweep and meet their rivals the Cherokee in round 2. A tough 6 game series saw the Dolphins victorious, and another 6 game series in the semi finals saw 2 shutouts from Wendy. The Evanston Panthers were in the finals, and a very even series led to a game 7. In this game, Wendy gave up 2 early, but her team clawed back to force overtime. Both goalie played extremely well in OT, and that led to a lengthy double overtime in which Martin Cain scored to give the Dolphins the championship. Wendy saved 58 out of 60 shots and took home the playoff MVP award before she graduated and headed out for a life of professional hockey.
  7. Info all available in the client and index. Btw some GMs emails are available in the client file that I downloaded, might want to look into that
  8. Hey all, your favorite shit disturber here. I made my own league file with accurate rosters and ratings, working on lines atm. PM me if you are interested in checking it out for test sims. @Beketov
  9. Yeah I'll make my own damn sim file with blackjack and hookers
  10. I am definitely misunderstanding. I can send you my .sth file for wjc in shl with no repercussions for you to poke around in. No risk. All reward. It's just a copy of the current sim at the time. Obviously lines, strats and player attributes will change afterwards making it outdated but that is just how it goes, we know that risk.
  11. Hold on, youre worried about people hacking the server through the league file? All blade is asking for is the .sth league file that you have saved on your computer, the one you Sim games with. I'm assuming you use some kind of file hosting service to upload results, as Simon T doesn't do this automatically. You have to output them first. With just the .sth file and no access to your file hosting there is no risk of hacks
  12. Basically with the client file they have you can set lines and that's pretty much it. You can't set schedules or mess around with anything else, for that you need the .sth file that simmers use. I will stand my ground and say there is absolutely no risk in releasing this to GMs who want to mess around with lines and find something that works for them. The only risk is GMs who don't think it is worth them time might find themselves on the outside looking in
  13. @majesiu actually knows a thing or two about Simon T so he knows that giving out the league file presents absolutely no risk. All of you guys are pointing out "GMs change things so often anyway so why even have the league file" just prove my point, what is the harm in giving it out? GMs want to test their own lines with at least semi accurate ratings and lines and you'd rather them just eyeball it. Sounds like less smart GMing and more luck tbh
  14. 63 saves from 67 shots Not even third star :feelsbadman:
  15. Why are you so worried about GMs sucking the fun out of it by test simming. Some GMs have fun by knowing they made the best lines they had and going into the season/series with confidence instead of just hoping. If someone wants to wing it they are allowed to by all means, I just think the file should be available to those who want it
  16. I'll suck off whoever I wanna suck off, that's none of ya damn business
  17. The point of GMing isn't to watch how the sim unfolds, it's to act and react. I run WJC over in the ol SH of L, and every nation has one person to test sim. What does this mean exactly? Everyone is on top of their game, simming to find the best strategies, and in turn making other teams have to go back and rethink theirs. @Esso2264 can attest that it creates a competitive and fun environment, with no clear runaway victors. I don't believe test simming gives an advantage to GMs, I think it pushes GMs to really get familiar with the sim and how it acts and separates the good from the bad. I can see you already dug your heels in though, so I guess this is the end of that
  18. No one is making you buy/not buy Simon T to test lines. If you wanna be a proactive GM and actually test shit instead of eyeballing it all season why can't you? I don't see anything unfair in using your resources to better your team. Blade is smart for asking to test. I'm sure all the other players wish their GMs would test sim
