  1. Understandable, but wouldn't you say that the experienced gained from the 1st two players that were busts would outweigh the 10 TPE deficit? I would just assume a member's 3rd player would still turn out better than a newbies 1st player, even if that member's 3rd player did receive the additional 10 TPE. Being new myself, I viewed the 10 TPE as an incentive to hang around and figure everything out with my 1st player, even if he wasn't making an impact in the sims initially.
  2. @eaglesfan036 Quite the loophole you're exploiting! If you're willing to sit out for half a year for 10 TPE all the more power to you.
  3. Seems pretty petty when you're not even capping on a weekly basis, but that just me. Plenty of TPE left on the table to be upset about 6/10 TPE. I'm newer to the league, but I think you're missing the point of the bonus in the first place, it seems like a bonus to encourage retention of new players who are likely to lose interest within the first couple of weeks before they even break 100. But like @Beketov said, the 10 TPE is pretty meaningless in the whole scope of things, when you're comparing how new inexperienced members use the 10 TPE opposed to how a veteran league member utilizes their points. Hang tough though, 10 juicy TPE waiting at the end of this 3 to 4 season holdout

  5. Threw together a new banner for the club page since ours is currently the top of our logo's hair.
  6. I'm hoping once the new guys get settled and they have some time to work the PP together there "should" be some major improvement, but I guess they can't do much worse than they have been. What are they looking at right now, 2 game PPP streak? Which is certainly a step in the right direction, the PP has been so hard to watch this year. I'd prefer we just play 5v5, we give up far too many good looks to others team's PK. I still have hope that they'll turn it around before playoffs thought
  7. No prob, takes a little bit go get a feel for the program and to figure out what everything does and how to properly use the tools, but I'm guessing you'd be able to get a decent grasp after some poking around. RV!!! Guys a monster and scoring at an unreal rate this season! Gotta love the hate Subban draws from every other fanbase haha! I'm really liking Big Boy Brian Boyle after they recently acquired him, seems to be making his presence known and has been the deciding factor in a few games as well!
  8. @uphillmoss I have no prior photoshop or similar program experience. I installed GIMP last week and watched liek 3-5 tutorials on how to make cool text and word art as well as cut out images and creat multiple layers. Took like 1-2 days of poking around to get a feel for it and to make some decent graphics. I would highly recommend it and if you do get it, I can send you some links to some really cool tutorials that are helpful and easy to follow along with. Check out my graphics and my profile banner if you want to see what you can learn in a few hours! Nothing special and certainly not as good as some of these graphics and sigs, but beats the hell out of my MSPaint attempts Also, Prince Fil!! My favorite player on my favorite team!!! Go Smashville!

  10. When are submissions closed and when are we able to claim TPE?
  11. Bert's finally hitting his groove and finding the score sheet! Looks like we took them by "Storm" in the 3rd period to tie this one up, more than doubled our shots for the game this period!
  12. Guess I'm not as big of an idiot as I thought

  14. 1. After one long offseason, season 65 has finally started. What do you think of your team's performance in these first couple of sims? I think you'd get the same response from the entire team, the start is far below expectations, but that hasn't discouraged anyone and we've been putting in some extra reps at practice and I think we're really starting to gel out there. 2. How is the ambiance in your locker room after these sims? It's been a bit quiet, I think everyone's spirits have been shot down a bit and the teams feeling a bit deflated. Nobody's point fingers, but we all know we can perform at a much higher level than we've been showing out on the ice. 3. Which team do you like playing against more than others? I don't know if I have a favorite team to play against so far since I've had a pretty flat start, but I certainly don't like squaring off against Halifax so far! 4. Season has just started, so the VHL Entry Draft might be hard to predict right now, but in what round do you think you'll be taken? I'm not sure feeling to confident in the start thus far and dreams of being a first round seem like a long shot, 2nd and 3rd are even feeling like a stretch since I've been a non-factor and have yet to contribute. So at this time I'll decline to weigh in, but I can readdress this question in another week or two with some real consideration. 5. Besides hockey, obviously, what other sports do you like to play casually or watch? I enjoy beach volleyball, I used to run cross country and track, so that helps me satisfy my competitive side. As far as watching there are few sports I don't enjoy watching, NBA is probably least favorite, let me know when they decide to play defense. 6. What's your game day routine? What do you eat before games? I get to the rink a few hours ahead of time, pull out some bright ass lime green tape and meticulously tape up my stick exactly the same every game while listening to some pump up jams, usually some alternative rock or rap depending on the day, but those do the best getting me jacked up. The night before I like to carb load and have a big ol' bowl of spaghetti and meatballs with a half loaf of garlic bread.
