    1. All we can really do is keep winning and put the pressure on them to keep winning as well if they want to stay ahead of us.
    2. It's not the most important thing in the world but it's certainly something good to aim for.
    3. I'm more of just a role player in general but in my career I think I've been more productive in the regular season than the playoffs.
    4. I honestly haven't explored much content of any kind.
    5. Dogs are the best pets, they are perfect in every way.
    6. I've always been a Josh Hutcherson fan, I remember really liking Bridge to Teribithia back in the day. I don't watch many movies in general though.

    1. I would say it's to be expected coming off of a rebuild.
    2. They only have one player over 571 TPE so it's pretty surprising that they're getting so much sim luck.
    3. I haven't really necessarily been surprised by anyone with what I've seen so far.
    4. I would say he is easily a top-2 GM on this team
    5. Haven't done much traveling, but it takes about 7-8 hours to drive to my grandparents' house in Minnesota.

    1. I think things have pretty much been going as expected for Calgary this season.
    2. I wouldn't expect too much of a significant improvement for next year, a rebuild doesn't happen automatically.
    3. I would imagine you have to target Janser.
    4. Calgary doesn't necessarily need to be too active, but if opportunities are there to gain more draft picks that wouldn't be a bad thing.
    5. I don't currently have pets. I live in an apartment and refuse to pay a monthly fee just to have a pet.
    6. Fall is the best season and it's not even close. Hoodie/flannel weather, hunting, football, Thanksgiving, it's the elite season.

While Asia has not gotten off to the start we'd hoped, the team has fought extremely hard given the WJC regime leaders @Zetterberg @samx  harsh system against Team Asia. Despite this, we fight hard to remain one of the strongest hockey teams in the world and will always represent Asia proudly. As management for Asia, we are happy to lead and hope to give the players involved with Asia the best experience possible. With that being said, @kirbithan has done an incredible amount of work behind the scenes to make up some trading cards for Team Asia. I was doing some up in Paint myself, but let's just say I'm really glad to of gotten the PM from Kirbi letting me know they had already started ahead of when I thought they'd be. Kirbi exceeded expectations but that's why I reached out to them!! Thank you so much for coming and being part of Team Asia 🙏

jblock3 got a reaction from Triller in Joe Block: VHLM Career Recap and Looking Ahead
A second season for Joe Block and the Houston Bulls has come to an end with an early playoff exit, bringing an abrupt end to a largely modest VHLM career for the young defenseman. As a rookie in S88, Block was able to make his presence felt on both ends of the ice while not dominating on either end. Offensively, he managed to pot 13 goals and provide 38 assists for a total of 51 points in the regular season. 7 of these goals came on the power play and he scored the game-winning goal on 3 occasions. On defense, Block made 147 hits and blocked 120 shots. In his second season, Block shifted gears and brought a more physical side of his game to the table. He again remained threatening on the offensive side of things with 11 goals and 33 assists. His 44 points were a bit of a decrease from his rookie season despite an increase in shots taken from 114 to 162. It was on defense, however, where a slightly more drastic change to his game was noticed. Block's newfound physicality allowed him to begin making a name for himself as he finished the season with the fourth most hits in the league. With a total of 204 hits, he joined teammates Grunkle Stan-dingyouup and Martin Kemp in the top 10 for hits while keeping his discipline in check and only spending 84 minutes in the penalty box (only an increase of 8 PIM from S88). In the playoffs, Houston were eliminated after just 5 games in a season when they were favored by many to make a deep run for the championship. In those 5 games, Block had a +2 rating while mustering up 3 points on offense. Riding the wave of momentum from the regular season, he kept up the aggression in the playoffs with 12 hits and 17 penalty minutes. The discipline he showed throughout the season lapsed early in the playoffs as he took a major game misconduct penalty for spearing. The early exit has left him hungry for more as he moves on in his career.

Despite the overall lack of success that Block managed to achieve in the VHLM, hopes are high that he will continue to develop into a standout defenseman going froward. Next, he heads to Sweden where he will spend the next chapter of his career playing for the Vasteras Iron Eagles. While Block will hope to find team success and continue chasing a first trophy in Vasteras, this chapter will be about developing and preparing for his future in the VHL. Joe was taken 18th overall in the S89 VHL Entry Draft and will move on from Vasteras to the Calgary Wranglers. Representatives from the Wranglers involved in Block's development say he hopes to grow on both sides of the ice, with the goal of becoming more threatening in the offensive attack. He has expressed a desire to score more points and believes he can do so without compromising his defensive game, hoping to grow into a solid two-way player as time goes on.

    1. The season was fun, even if the playoffs didn't go as planned. I thought my player had an alright season, but not quite what I was hoping for. It was cool to finish Top 4 in hits, but I wasn't expecting to see a decrease in points from the first season.
    2. I'm not leaving the locker room so I'll still be around.
    3. It can only be explained by bad luck, Simon was just not in our favor.
    4. I don't necessarily think it is a requirement, but there's no denying that it helps. Typically great players win trophies.
    5. I hope to play with Simon's Worst Nightmare again, he clearly lives up to the name.
    6. After being away from sim leagues for so long, you and AJ were exactly the type of management I needed to get excited about it again. Thanks for two fun seasons!

First of all thank you @diamond_ace and @McWolf for giving me the opportunity of rejoining this VHLM GM team in S84 after a massive TPE ban, and thank you @Spartan and @Gustav for all the brilliant work you've done since stepping in. I don't think many people realize just how much the VHLM has changed since these two stepped in and they deserve all the credit for it. As well as hiring quality GMs to work beside every season, thank you for making this job so fun and easy to do.

I am stepping down as GM of the Houston Bulls.

When I was hired to GM the Houston Bulls in S84 my goal was to create a strong community and family within my new organization. Since then, @UnknownMinion and @Triller have both AGM'd by my side for 3 of 6 seasons each.  I hired Minion mainly as a sidekick while on the hunt for a GM job of their own but Minion was always a pleasure to work with. Triller stepped in to the league just before Minion left Houston and I snagged him up as quickly as a could. I remember doing this to @MubbleFubbles in Vegas and they both gave me the "thank you but idk if I'm ready, I'll think about it" response before responding only a couple hours later taking the job LOL. Triller is not an AGM to me and he knows it, we run Houston together and I just get the shiny TPE for it. Houston would not be Houston without Triller. From the graphics, to the daily activity, to the fact that I don't even have to explain myself since he won the Elmebeck... Triller has been my ride or die the past three seasons in Houston. Someone who I can happily call a friend and hope to stay connected with throughout our futures. I appreciate everything you have done in the past three seasons with me and you deserve everything I get praised for.

Next thank you to all the players who had the patience and fire to be a Houston Bull. The drive to get better by listening, learning, earning TPE and growing their knowledge of the VHL. Thank you to this S89 roster which is the best I have built in my 6 seasons of GMing. We didn't get the results we wanted but this was hands down my favourite season as GM. Thank you to every player I spammed to try and bring out of inactivity @DontCallMeCarson lol. Thank you @Big Newff for being the only one to play for me for all 6 seasons of my career. I'm happy I got to bring you back to this league and that you were there till the end of my run. Thank you to a player that isn't here anymore and many do not like for showing me that even with such an evil and ugly heart around the league, you will still come back after a perm ban just to be part of the Houston Bulls family again. Thank you @Girts who may have never played for me in Houston, but was my first ever All Star First Gen player in Vegas in S81. You are the reason we want to be a GM in the VHLM and help people love this league more. Thank you to every experience I had with every member, which helped me grow into the person I am in real life today.

Finally, the reason I am leaving Houston is because I'm heading back to school! I'm going back to Western University to play football again! After taking two years off and working, I have had a lot of time to grow and figure myself out. I feel now I am ready and determined to chase my goals, and hopefully one day y'all can see me on the big screen playing in the CFL 🔥 That is the goal with this and if I want to reach it I need to respect it as a full time job, leaving not enough time to meet this job's requirements anymore (as well as the recruitment team which I am leaving too). Thank you to everyone who has stepped into that Houston locker room since I've been around. It's sad letting go as I had so much more planned for this team, but I can proudly walk out saying I left a dent on this organization in a positive way. I hope Houston can continue to grow with whoever takes over in the future. GO BULLS GO

    3. Uhhhh, I only listen to pop punk so I will probably not be a popular DJ choice.
    4. I'd put it in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and name them the Lakers after the freighters that pass through the Soo Locks.
    5. Maybe the Reapers. I like their design and have a soft spot for them from back in S66 when my goalie won a championship with them.

Houston's S89 roster is set! Before game 1 gets rolling tonight, I am thrilled to announce our captains for this upcoming season!

    Captain
    Kyle Toms @Ktoms22

Drafted 14th overall, Kyle Toms returns to the Bulls lineup for his second season in the VHLM. Toms struggled to find his legs throughout S88 but through development over the off-season, Toms is ready to be the face of our franchise.

    Assistant Captain
    Joe Block @jblock3

Joe Block enters his second season with the Bulls as the number one blue line threat. Block is determined to be a top defender in the league and with his activity and earning, Block will be our first assistant captain this season.

    Assistant Captain
    Devon Giguere @omniscius

After a slow first season in the VHLM, Houston was lucky enough to watch Devon Giguere excel in his earning throughout the off-season. Giguere enters S89 as one of the top goaltenders to watch and will be our second assistant captain this season; a name we will depend on every night.

on the island of saint lucia, after a hard day of smoking loud, star hockey player jebediah big ol doinks in amish made the decision to take his talents to the big city of houston. however, this decision didn't come easy for jebediah. there were many questions to be asked first. questions like, will there be any big ol doinks for him to smoke in houston? how will he get his loud? when it's nice out will anyone ever hit his line? despite all of these burning questions, the temptation of making it big in the vhl was just too much for him to pass up.

"im pretty excited to see what kind of loud they have in houston, i've heard lots of good things about this city."

jebediah has never been one to put in the most amount of effort in practice or eat healthy to keep up with his fitness, and he arrives in houston with only his equipment and big ol doinks. it will be a big step up for him, but he is confident in his abilities. the team is looking great on paper and the entire roster is looking forward to what this season will have in store for them.

Following a solid debut season with the Houston Bulls, defenseman Joe Block entered the S89 VHL Entry Draft. Block finished last season with a total of 51 points, 147 hits, and 120 shot blocks after appearing in all 72 games and setting himself up as a promising prospect for VHL teams. On draft night, Block watched the first round slip by without hearing his name called. Two picks into the second round, Vancouver would then trade the 18th overall pick to the Calgary Wranglers who then used the pick to add Block as their fourth selection of the night. This prospect group also includes fellow Houston defenseman Tobias Weiss.

Having the weight of knowing where his future VHL home will be off his shoulders, Block can now focus his mindset on the more immediate future. Tonight he will be selected in the VHLE Entry Draft to find out where he will continue to develop until he is ready to make the move to Calgary. Before his pitstop in Europe however, he will spend one more season in Houston with hopes of making a run for a Founder's Cup. Block has hopes of being a top player in the VHLM this upcoming season, and Houston is hopeful that his presence on the blueline can take them to next level this season.
