Well, thank you so much for the opportunity to answer these. Aside from the press conferences, I haven't had too much of a chance to answer questions for the media. 1. How would you describe your VHLM experience? - Oh man, I had a really good time. I feel like, from a playing perspective, I didn't really hit my full potential until about halfway through the season. I did, however, have a wonderful experience meeting and working with the Hounds locker room. I had tons of support and plenty of laughs with those guys, and that's something I'm not likely to forget anytime soon. More than anything, this season and my time in the VHLM made me excited to play in the VHL! It's been my dream for a long time, and I can't wait. 2. How would you describe your play this season? - My play, honestly, I would describe as middling. I wanted to put up more points, but it's tough when you're on a team with Callum McElroy and Cody Smith. Those guys are unbelievable. Enjoy your retirement, Callum! I had plenty of help from those guys, and guys like Berocka Sundqvist and my brother Hulk Hogan, so I really picked up in the middle of the season. I always felt confident in the faceoff circle, and my record in that regard speaks for itself. I'm interested to see how I play in the VHL. 3. How would you describe your excitement leading up to the VHL Draft? - I'm unbelievably excited. Wednesday can't come soon enough. I want to meet my new teammates and start building a legacy. I'm not looking forward to having to move out of Mississauga, but who knows? Hopefully I don't have to move far, I hate it. 4. Around what pick range do you expect to go and why? - I 100% expect to go in the second round. I honestly have no idea, but I'm not going to be a top 10 guy. 5. If you wanted General Managers to know one thing about you, what would it be? - I'm a very hard worker who takes constructive criticism very well. I'm looking to win and want to do so in an environment where everyone is having fun and everyone cares about what they're doing here. I'm planning on playing for a while and want to really find a place to call home in the VHL!

Mississauga, CA The Mississauga Hounds may have been knocked out of the playoffs early, but that hasn’t stopped player Scott Greene from competing, albeit in a different sense. Scott has always been a fan of speed running video games in his spare time, and has taken to streaming him attempting to beat VHL ‘19’s campaign mode as quickly as possible. “The most difficult part is the Story Mode, for sure. You have to play through every game of every season of the VHL since the beginning of the league to unlock the New Game+, and you have to beat THAT on the hardest difficulty in order to 100% beat the game,” says Greene. “I ran the numbers, and it’s estimated to take me over 20,000 hours to do, and that’s not counting the four hour Ironman Match against Hunter Hearst Helmsley as the secret final boss. I haven’t slept since the night I got home.” Greene has been doing all this for a good cause. He is putting all the money donated to his stream, and the money he would normally spend on food and travel to a youth hockey league in Mississauga, the City Pound Pups. Plans after the stream include finally sleeping and eating.

1. Yeah, it did. It ended sooner than I thought. I thought we had the steam to keep going, but it was still a fun experience. I really enjoyed playing this season and meeting the people that I did. I look forward to seeing many of them in the future. 2. Ottawa goes the distance. If you're gonna lose, lose to the future champ. 3. I honestly don't know what team would like to pick me up, but whatever team it is, I hope that the locker room is as much fun as the one the Hounds have. 4. I don't know that I have a choice. I would love to stay with the Hounds, but that can't happen. I'm looking forward to what happens! 5. I think we do, but its gonna be some stiff competition. 6. Relax, and catch up on some games I've neglected. Maybe brainstorm article ideas. I hope it's not too long!

Hounds Scott Greene Injured in Dabbing Accident While preparing for the playoffs during a practice this Tuesday morning, Mississauga Hounds player Scott Greene has injured and broken his nose while practicing dabbing. Greene has been practicing his puck handling skills so as to be a more visible force during the playoffs with the Hounds, who play against the Ottawa Lynx in the first round. While running drills up and down the ice, Scott went for a dab he refers to as “The Nuclear Dab” after “sinking a nasty shot” to the back of the net. Scott dabbed so hard that he managed to knock his nose loose and cause severe bleeding. Several teeth were also loosened by the impact of the dab. Doctors are unsure how long Scott will be out. Scott plays on the first forward line for the Hounds, a team that very much desires to make an impact in the postseason. “Hopefully his injury isn’t too severe and he can begin playing again soon,” says the team's doctor. The players have been experimenting with dabs as a means of intimidating the other team, and it’s resulted in a few minor injuries. This isn’t the first thing that was tried, however. We had to put DeYeeto’s shoulder back into place after he tried to ‘T-Pose’ on a rival goalie.” The matchup against Ottawa is already going to be difficult for the young Hounds team as-is. If the dab does make it into the playoffs, we can only pray that it doesn’t result in more injuries.

1. I'm super excited for the playoffs! I think this team is going to surprise a lot of people! 2. I feel like I did. Really, my only goal this season was to gain a better understanding of how all this works, and I think I have that now. 3. Hulk Hogan is very impressive. Not only a good players but an excellent locker room presence and all-around nice guy. 5. I don't know if I expect a finals appearance. There's so much luck involved that, yeah, maybe we can. I wouldn't say I expect it though. 9. I haven't witnessed any problems at all in our locker room. 10. I'm sure one or two player will be traded, but a lot of people are leaving the VHLM anyway, so I don't know who it would be.

Hounds Prepare to Bite the Postseason By Billy Maltball Mississauga, Canada It’s amazing that 66 seasons in, the VHL is still producing such amazing talent. Some of the greatest players to ever play the game have passed through the VHLM, and this season has been no different. Now, it’s time for each of these amazing players to analyze what they accomplished. Now, it’s time for them to dig deep and see what else they have left to give. Now is the most interesting time of the season. The Mississauga Hounds, an expansion team that just played their first season in the VHLM, are thinking about how they can keep their momentum going. The Hounds finished the season sixth in the league, winning 41 games and losing 26 cleanly, with five shootout losses. This statistic does very little to show the fact that every player on the Hounds believes that they have the ability and the grit to go all the way to the finals. That’s no easy task, either. The Hounds are currently set to face the number three ranked Ottawa Lynx in the first round in the playoffs. The Hounds have a pretty even record against them against them in the regular season. “We’ve proven we can beat them,” said Hounds forward Scott Greene. “We just need to show up and play like we have been. If we do that, we have the potential to knock them out.” Ottawa, Home of the Lynx We sat down with Greene in his apartment in Mississauga to try to get a general feel for the attitude in the Hounds locker room. “I would say our attitude is very positive. All of us feel like we can be champions, without a doubt, man. Our next opponent is Ottawa, and their good, but I don’t think any of us are worried about them. We played well against them, and we’re not the same team we were at the start of the season.” I asked Greene how he always ends up being the one we interview. He laughed and said “I don’t mind being the voice for the team. Some of the other guys don’t really have a love for it. Plus, you guys always come to me, so how could I complain?” None of the teams will go down easy, but Greene is confident about all but one. “I think the only one that worries anyone is Saskatoon,” said Greene. “They were incredible scary in the regular season. Other teams, like Philly and Ottawa we can really bring it to, but Saskatoon has been the one that ends up being the roughest for us, and I can tell you that we all hoped we didn’t match up with them in the first.” Saskatoon has really impressed this year, sitting at number 4 in the standings. “It’s odd, I guess that we worry about them more than, say, Halifax. But historically, it's been tough against Sass,” said Greene. We asked Greene how he thought his play has been and where he’d like to improve. “I could be a little finer with the puck, honestly. I have no problem getting the puck to the back of the net, but they tend to pick the puck off of me to easily. Watch for me to try to hang onto it a lot more in the playoffs! As for the rest of the season, I’ve been really happy with how I performed. I started out slow, but I think that was just a little hill that I had to overcome. Everyone has an adjustment period, and I finally got my feet under me. I really wanted to contribute to my team by scoring goals. Simple as that.” The Hounds were ranked 5th in goals for and 6th in goals against in the regular season, and while Greene performed well, he wasn’t the leader. Leading the scoring force for the team is Callum McElroy with 107 points, a wonder to see on the ice. “He slices through the offense, man. It’s crazy, and I’m glad he’s getting the recognition he deserves as on of the leagues top scorers,” says Greene. Greene should know; he played most of his shifts on the first forward line with McElroy and left-winger Cody Smith back at the start of the season. Cody Smith is an amazing player in his own right, with 87 points this season. Backing them up is the Incredible Hulk Hogan, who led the VHLM in points for a little while during the regular season. This is not the line that the Hounds have been excited about the most, however. The shocking growth of the second line, featuring McElroy, Dan Gles, and Berocka Sundqvist has been the magic touch many of the Hounds felt was missing. “I don’t want to touch whatever magic has been happening there,” said Hounds GM Jerry Garcia. “Man, like, those guys have been crazy.” The second line scoring pulled the Hounds out of a slump in the middle of the season and elevated them to the place they are now. “Sundqvist was really a surprise, to be honest. He came in and started kicking ass right off the bat. He gave us a ton of momentum,” said Greene. If they can keep the momentum, they could upset the higher-ranked Ottawa. James K. Polka’s first album cover, Weird as Polk The Hounds are looking to go to the finals, but they have plans in case it doesn’t go the way they want. “I know Hogan and DeYeeto are getting ready to launch their acting careers, and the other boys have their own plans, but I was planning on buckling down and getting something going with my band again,” said Greene. “We had to put it on hold during the regular season, but playing music has always been a passion of mine. With any luck, I’ll be able to go home with a trophy to look at while I write new songs!” Greene, who plays U.S. President-themed polka music under his pseudonym James K. Polka, has released three albums and one EP to date. With the season over, all that remains is for one team to put their names into the history books and win it all. The pressure can very easily get to the players involved, but, at least in Mississauga, we know spirits are high. __________________________________ 1061 words, claiming for weeks of 6/17-6-23 and 6/24-6/30.

Mississauga, CA After months of speculation and tight-lips on the matter, we finally have confirmation that Mississauga Hounds players Hulk Hogan and Danny DeYeeto are starring in a remake of the classic 1990's film "Twins." The film that originally inspired millions will be remade as a more serious toned drama centered around two brothers and their love of yeeting. "We were planning on filming in Mississauga, anyway and we took one look at Danny and Hulk and knew they would be perfect for the roles," said producer Marcus VanYeetingham. "No one exemplifies yeeting and strength more than Danny and Hulk." When asked for comment, Hogan referred to him and DeYeeto as the "Mega Powers" of Hollywood and DeYeeto shouted "YEET" loudly and threw a table out of the window. Prescreening of the early scenes of the film have been well-received, with many speculating that it may sweep at the Academy Awards. "We anticipate at least 30 wins, including Best Picture and Best Actor, no question," said Vanyeetingham. The film is set to premiere on November 10th, 2019.

1. I'd probably go with GlowyGoat. He seems to have a good handle on things. 2. I think with the win streak we have going on and how competitive we've been with some of the best teams in the league, I'm very satisfied with the trades we made, especially since Sundell has started speaking to his teammates! I think we have what it takes to at least make it to the semifinals. 3. The only thing I can think of for a third jersey would be a different Hound design. Maybe a little more retro and cartoony looking. Blue primary color and silver secondary. 4. I'm very satisfied. I've really stepped up and started performing like I knew I could. 5. I think Mexico City could go all the way, for sure. 6. I don't see myself doing it, just because of the time commitment. If I had a little more free time, then I might consider it!

Mississauga Hounds: Halfway There [1/2]

June 3rd, 2019 The city of Mississauga declared yesterday, June 2nd, Mississauga Hounds Day in honor of the beloved expansion franchise in the city. The city has very much come to love the team, and decided to show it in a number of ways. A parade, complete with floats, balloons, and a full band, marched through the center of the city, with many thousands of people in attendance. Popular floats include the Callum McElroy beer float, shooting beer and liquor directly into the crowd, and the Hulk Hogan balloon. Critics did complain that the balloon failed to capture the scope of his massive, python-like arms, but admitted that the rest of the balloon was accurate. To cap it all of was many of the players riding on a large, Hound-shaped float at the end of the parade. Many restaurants served Hounds-themed food, including Hound Dogs (blue and silver hotdogs) and Hound Chopped Salad (made of an odd, blue and silver meat). People loved the taste of the Hound Chopped Salad, but many said it made their stomachs violently upset. We’ve reached out to the manufacturer of the Hound Chopped Salad, but have not heard any comments from the company. So far, three of the people who ate it are threatening with lawsuits. We will keep you posted with further developments.

Hounds Success Inspires Mississauga: The Hounds were not expected to do well. But they have. The Mississauga Hounds have played excellent hockey, and continue to play excellent hockey, by any measure of that metric. While not initially pegged by most of the league as a threat, and while many of the roles the players took on at the beginning of the season have changed, the Hounds have really come into their own recently and are hoping for a strong playoff run to cap off their first season. With depth on both offense and defense now, the Hounds look to do well, especially after recent developments and acquisitions. One of the Hounds original problems was the defense leaving goaltender Rayz Funk out to dry in the net. Hulk Hogan, while an intimidating presence, could only do so much on his own. This is why when the Hounds recently acquired defenseman Andreas Sundell from Philadelphia there was quite a bit of excitement in the city. But, while a well rounded player, Andreas is very quiet around his teammates. “We try to talk to him, and he just stares at us blankly,” said forward Scott Greene. “He comes to practice and really lights up when he hits the ice, but I’ve never even heard him make a sound before. He pairs well with a larger than life personality like Hulk Hogan. I’m honestly not even sure he does anything other than play hockey. He might just live in the Paramount Fine Foods Centre!” We sat down with Andreas for an interview at the Mississauga Civic Center. Billy: Andreas! It’s so good to meet you! Andreas: … Billy: So, what made you want to start playing for the Hounds? Andreas: … Billy: Hey, Andreas, are you okay? Did you always dream you’d be playing hockey? Andreas: (drooling lightly) ... Billy: Wonderful, we’ll be in touch. This was easily one of the worst interviews I’ve ever done. Andreas stood up and walked out of the interview after this. He declined to comment on any other questions we submitted. The Mississauga Civic Center, where we met Andreas Many other player’s on the team have been improving quite a bit. When we last interview Scott Greene, he was concerned with the fact that he didn’t seem to be producing offensively. Since then, he has started contributing to scoring more and is happier with his gameplay. “It finally started to click for me. It was just a hump that I had to get over, and once I did, my play has gotten much better!” Despite an odd incident in which Greene seemed to be under the influence of narcotics on the rink, he really has started to back up his claims of being one of the best players in the league. While not as dominant a scoring presence as he would like, he is very impressive in the face off circle, usually winning well over half the face offs he takes each game. “You can’t score if you don’t have the puck. Well, you can, but the team has to be really lucky, and I don’t like luck,” says Greene. But hockey is a team game, and Greene says he’s impressed with the rest of the teams depth, as well. “Our second line has been monstrous lately. Berocka Sundqvist has really come into his own and has started contributing. Cody Smith continues to be great, and our amazing Hulk Hogan has shown everybody Hulkamania continuously. This team is one to watch!” Hulk Hogan really has continued to impress, with several of his teammates calling for him to win the Ryan Sullivan Trophy for Best Defensive Player. “He really is unmatched. It’s insane to watch him play how he does. I can’t remember the last time I saw someone hit another player with a lariat that wasn’t Hogan,” says Greene. Hogan has been a dominant scoring presence. He currently sits at 66 points for the season, which is unreal. Hogan’s Mississauga Collector’s Card This scoring depth has really helped the Hounds out in recent days. After being in a slump for several games, the Hounds have gained a number of impressive victories, including a blowout of the Houston Bulls and a very strong game against the Saskatoon Wild, and, despite a close loss against the Mexico City Kings, the Hounds stay optimistic in their ability to beat them. “We’re simply the better expansion team, and that’s all there is to it,” says Scott Green. “Next time we go to Mexico, we’re going to show them.” The Hound have another few games against the Mexico City Kings left this season, and it will be far from easy. Both teams are playing very well and both are all but guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Depending on how motivated the players are, we could see them face off in the finals. “I love playing against Mexico. I speak a little bit of Spanish, and it gives me and my girlfriend and excuse to explore Mexico City,” said Scott Greene. The weather is getting quite hot, and Mexico City is understandably hot for their new team, as well. Downtown Mexico City That’s also true for Mississauga, which is even hotter for their team, having recently honored their new friends on the Hounds with a Hounds Day in the city. All of the players attended a parade in their honor. “It was an interesting experience. They had all kinds of floats and people dressed in jerseys and Hounds outfits. It was cool seeing the city support us like that,” said Greene. The city continues to be hopeful as the league enters its second half of the season. The playoffs are difficult, and no one is going to deny that. It relies on a lot of skill, teamwork, and a hefty amount of luck for you to be able to get all the way to the finals. While there are some scary teams at the top of the standings, at this point, almost any team could take the championship home. With the most exciting time in the season just around the corner, it’s time to find out if it’s an established team, or a scrappy group of Hounds. ____________________________________________________ 1033 Words, claiming for the weeks of 6/3-6/9 and 6/10-6/16

1. I think it's a great opportunity for him! I just hope he keeps a lot of his focus in Mississauga. 2. I'd probably hire Berocka Sundqvist. He's been very active and I think he has a bright future! 3. Mexico City is way more annoying than Minnesota. Keep the rivalry as-is. 4. I think it was a good move. The player has been inactive, but he's got good stats, and we needed another defenseman. 5. I like our chances with the team in its current incarnation. The sims have been unpredictable, so there's no guarantee that the moves the other teams have made will be worth it. 6. Ryan Sullivan Trophy: Hulk Hogan, without a doubt.
