With the season more than half over, Seattle has been showing some signs of positive growth. Fighting hard to progress in the standings. This fairly young team has been working hard. The players are doing their part and keeping up with training and working with team mates to get some chemistry going. It has been working for the most part and as predicted, Seattle is getting stronger as the season moves along. Hopefully by the time the playoffs roll around, Seattle will be in a position that will put us in the show. I have no reason to think we won't make the playoffs. All in all, it's been a positive rookie season for Max Torq. Not any stat sheet leader but has shown a bit of talent on the back end, where he should be. He also is getting the hang of being a part of the power play and has gotten a few goals. It's only getting better. Should be a fun home stretch run for Seattle. Never a dull moment.

51. I would want Kempe from the Kings. 52. It was a fun day. He threw some ribeyes on the grill and we watched the move Slapshot before we watched the Super Bowl. 53. We have had good runs and not so good runs. I think we are just finding ourselves and will be a productive team in short order. 54. If it has anything to do with the so called "Meta" build, they I hope the league makes all core skills relevant. 55. He is a good player and I believe he will reach that mark. He will get the puck passed to him more often than not. 56. I don't remember a thing other than waking up in a holding cell.

Review: I really like your design. For the most part the render look very clean with the exception of the players stick. The logo swap is okay, not bad but could be a bit better. Text is alive and looks badass. Downside is you left NHL branding on the render. It's easy to remove and can be replaced with VHL emblems/logos. Overall, sick looking graphic. Love the design. 8/10

Review: At first glance, it looks like a really smooth sig. Nice focus on the players face and the text compliments the render without overpowering it. Your color palette choice seems to work. I am not a huge fan of the effects on the render but that is a design choice. If I had to point out anything that was obvious, I would say the lack of a logo and the NHL collar emblem is the only issue I have with this sig. Overall you did a good job and it is pleasing to look at. 8/10

It's twenty four games into the season and things have gotten better in Seattle. Still looking for the best solutions to some issues but really, it comes down to the players getting good. It's an ongoing process that you just have to stick with or you and your team will not move forward. Since playing in the league, I have found hard work and a desire to be the best you can be is the foundation for success. I think the players on Seattle for the most part are doing everything they can to get better. I know every other team is doing the same thing but we can only control what we do as a team. Striving to be the best and having the desire doesn't mean instant gratification but a road map to follow in pursuit of success. We as players and as a team will get there. This season is just a small snap shot of the overall picture and we aren't letting the ups and downs take our focus away from the right path. There are no knee jerk moves being made and the team laces them up everyday and tries to do their best. GO BEARS!!!

Review: High contrast graphics are fun to look at. I think, for the most part, you did a fine job with this one. I like the formatting even though the background is very wide and somewhat distracting. You could have gotten rid of the NJ logo and added the team logo but I think it is still a fun one to look at. The bright text fits in well. Good job overall. 8/10

Review: Not a bad design concept. I like the idea of the flames, render and background all blended together. I think overall you did a fine job. I think the render is muted a bit but I can't really complain as it fits with your design choice. Text looks like it fits and I really like the quote at the bottom in yellow. Good job. 8/10

30. What are your thoughts to the start of Seattle's season? It was a feeling out period that was totally expected. 31. How has your player done so far? I think for a rookie he has done well. 32. What's something that surprises you most to start of the season? We still don't have Soap on a Rope in the showers. 33. VHL Discord moderation seems to me a theme lately. What are your thoughts on it? I don't hang there much and haven't been caught up in any of that. 34. Valentines Day is coming up. Do you have any plans? Going out to dinner, some drinks and whatever follows after. I might even take my wife. 35. Do you have any memories, whether recent or childhood, of Valentines Day that are "funny", "Cute", "interesting"? etc. I have no childhood memories that I know of. I think that in itself is interesting.

24. A new kind of cereal just came out and wants some of the Bears players to be in a commercial. Who was in it, what was the name of the cereal and what happened in the commercial? Cereal was called "Fruits and Nuts". Hogan and Torq were in it but it was canned once Torq showed his actual nuts. 25. @Jubis Zeedayno Chara was caught by TMZ last night eating out and catching drinks with a celebrity date. Who was it?? He went out with Bana. Things went south when Chara made a move. 26. Justin Lose @youloser1337 went on a reality TV show. What show did they go on and what went down??? He was on "Love Island". Still doesn't know why nobody else showed up. Episode never aired. 27. @M0XI recently signed as an undrafted FA. His teammates played some pranks on him in his hotel room. What did they do?? I will say it one last time. The "Super Glue" was not mine. 28. @SlapshotDragon Sigard Petrenko has some pretty strange superstitions. NAME ONE! A strange one indeed. He wears his athletic supporter backwards. I didn't as why. 29. @oilmandan got a tattoo of a bear with it saying something "_______". What is the Bear tattoo saying and where is it on him?? It's on his right ass cheek and says, "Does the Pope shit in the woods?".

The season started and what a fun time it is. All the teams are getting their players matched up with the best players they have. Adjustments are being made and teams are learning exactly what they have to work with. The ups and downs of the start if this season hasn't been a huge surprise. You never really know where you are until you play several games and have tired different line combinations. Always something to mess with to see what clicks. Seattle started off a bit slower than most but have been doing the little things to make the team more successful. We should be off and running is short order. They players are doing their best to improve their game play and learning to play with new line mates. It will all come together with time. Seattle is know for being a tough opponent more towards the end of the season. I expect it will be the same this season. Max has been hard at work trying to keep up with the big boys in the league. It will take him some time to get his game where it needs to be but I have no doubts that he will be a good blue liner by the end of the season. Fun times in the VHL as a rookie.

Review: I like the design of this sig. Background is a bit simple but I think that is what you were going for. The render, while good, could have been cleaned up a bit like remove the NHL collar logo and the reflections off the visor. A team logo somewhere would have been a nice touch but sometimes it's doesn't work with the design. Text looks so simple yet I think it works really well. I like the overall look of this project. Just, in my opinion, it could have been worked on a bit more to fine tune it. Well done. 8/10

Review: Very well done. A traditional sig with a proper format looks good. I like the render and the ties it has to the background. The text is functional and does what it needs to do without any real issues. I would say it is a good example of what a good foundation looks like. Good stuff. 8/10

The draft came and went and all the players know what team they get to play on. Good times are coming for all. Kind of a weird draft from what I saw but there is always something happening behind the scenes that most players don't know about. Max Torq was picked up by Seattle. A very good team with what I would say has the leagues best tactician of a GM in Bana. I am very happy to play on his team again. It should be a good time in Seattle and can't wait to play with the big boys. Max should, I hope, turn out to be a solid defenseman with a bit of hard hitting and some scoring. I don't expect another Merrick type of career but he will do fine once he grows into his role. I am going to try the min/max type of build and see where that goes. If it isn't working, I will adjust to a more conventional build. I will revisit his build after a season or two. Let's get this party started. GO BEARS!!!

18. Good player, should be a good asset for the team. 19. Good earner and tries to do his best. Should be a solid dman when he matures 20. I really don't know much about him. I am sure he has potential or he wouldn't have been drafted by Seattle. 21. Well good on him. You just never know the whole back story when it comes to these situations. 22. I am excited to see how we do. Let the mastermind do his thing and we should know where we are in a few weeks. 23. Max eats a big bloody ribeye steak.

Review: I really like this design. Good render size and render choice with a zebra in the mix really works. Placement looks good, well balanced. Can't really say anything is bad with this graphic. Of course fonts are subjective but your choice seems to work. Overall, good job. 8.5/10

Review: Another good design. This one is very simple yet gets the job done. Overall, it's nicely done. I like the text/font you used and I think that it is a good size. Normally I would say the text is too small but it works here. Your top layer is hiding the render, would have liked to see more. Good one for a turn in. 8/10

It has come and gone, the draft that is. Max Torq is reunited with a team with a winning pedigree. It should be a great career once Max grows into the role that is going to help the team. Meanwhile, Max is in the VHLE with the Vikings. It is all new to me about how that league will play out but I know it has good leaders and if I play the season there, it will be another notch of experience that will only help the team and my player. Win win. Max is my third player. I first had Guy LeGrande, a defenseman, who had a great cup winning career. The road was bumpy. Seems so long ago but the bad choices that were made has stuck with me and it seems the league never forgets drama. I have grown as a member or maybe adapted is a better term. Being a few generations older than just about everyone in the league does raise the question, why am I even here. I think my main strength comes from the desire to do my best. I have changed my way of looking at the league. I realize that there are many different cultures here and I need to respect that. I am actually a very social person, just not social media. It's just the way things are and I am fine with the limited interactions I have with the league. Well, after recreating another defenseman, my expectations for him are to provide a defensive minded checking player that can score if needed. I don't expect leader board numbers from Max or I would have made another center. My destiny is going to be more of a unsung hero. Good all around player without too much of a downside. So, after have my first player do well as a non checking defenseman and my second player, John Merrick, had an outstanding career ( but no cups ), I decided to make something that should be on the side of being nasty but effective. We will just have to see if the build I have in mind works as intended. I had all intentions of calling it quits after winning another cup with Ottawa. I figured my time here was done and time to go on my way. If not for a couple of what I consider really close friends that I have made here, I wouldn't be writing this article. I had to rethink what the league means to me. I come here for my player, my team and most import, for myself. I need to fill in the gaps of everyday life. Without the league in my routine, I would just be hurting myself. I choose to stay, go through the draft and recommit to being the best member I can be.

Review: I really like following your work. I have found that you can make really impressive sigs and I like the format you use. This one is a bit shallow compared to most of your other work. Nothing really stands out as bad, just nothing stands out that pops or draws my attention. I think it looks muted overall and would have liked to see some contrast somewhere to really pull me in. Render and text are all well placed, I am just not seeing your kick in this one. Not bad, not great but I hold you to a higher standard. 8/10

Review: Not a bad sig. You have a few really good things going on here. I like the render placement and the text seems to fit in well. I would say the background is a bit too busy and it messes with the color palette. One thing you should try to do is get rid of all the NHL logos. It is better to swap them to your teams logos if you can but nothing is better than NHL branding. Overall, you are on the right path. Keep pushing, there are no limits. 8/10

1. Relaxing before hitting the gym. You have to be ready to take the next step in your career. 2. I am looking for a strong defensive season from Torq. His checking should be better and he is also able to score the odd goal. 3. Playing on a new team is always something to look forward to. 4. Just defense with a sprinkle of offense. A good balance between those are always a good thing and I think Max will be reliable in those areas. 5. Max takes penalties that he really shouldn't. He is working on that this offseason. 6. I want us to win it all. Be the top dog. The one everyone fears.
