I was GM for 2 hours before the draft, and knew he wasnt draft eligble :/ I was gunna mention it in chat, but with so many commishes i figured they had it handled

Heres how i look at it, i dont know much of the past ruling on this, or the teams situations in comparison to mine. However the way i see it, well it sucks im the first step in fixing what appears to have been a broken system. Only way to fix it is to start it, someones going to get screwed over regardless. Now, if i see a future case like mine where a GM gets to use their second rounder ill be mad, but if this ends up correcting it like it should then im fine with it. Does it suck yes, id love to have added 3 good prospects to what is a very barren team. But im not going to whine about it, im going to put on my big boy pants and try to build this team into a contender no ifs and or buts

A Grand Task For A Davos Legend Davos is in tough, the franchise has now seen its 3rd GM in 3 seasons. Its lost stars McJustice, Richardson,Komarov, Harmpf and more over the last few years. Sinclair and Valmont aren't exactly in their prime. Top prospect has voiced his displeasure on twitter, his future with the squad is uncertain that makes for a tough task as is. Throw in the new GM has been handed the keys literately hours before the biggest draft of the franchise in a few seasons. Currently holding 3rd overall,and 7th these two players are expected to set the tone for the start of this franchise. Most expect Pavel Komarov to go 7th the two way center is the son of the new GM Vladimir Komarov. The biggest question, is who goes third overall so many good names and big holes throughout the line up. He has been hard at work scouting, asking the tough questions of his scouts, he does not want to miss the best he wants a guy who wants to build with this team. He knows the next two seasons well the team grow, will be tough years he doesn't want quitters. Im talking with all my team mates i plan on reaching out to all the top prospects, and asking them a few question.I wont leave anything to chance. He will build a team, that outworks his opponents, and wants to be here. He brings a positive attitude to the locker room, he will keep his door open for any of his players, he wants to make one thing clear though, he wont be pushed over. I am a nice guy, but i wont be taken advantage of i like to think of myself a highly intelligent person. I want the best for Davos, and all players who play under me, but that doesn't mean i wont make the hard choices. With the draft over it becomes apparent Sinclair's time with Davos is done. With the third overall pick Davos selected Jakab Holik, he is set to be the goalie of the future he will be in tough for his rookie season as Davos is a barren wasteland. Davos new GM hopes to make a few moves to add some stop gaps, he wont make any huge splashes in the market but he hopes he can shore up his roster. At this point it looks like Valmount, Adultman, and Covington III will lead the team next year on the offense, with Holik expected to take the starting role from the starter Sinclair who we expect to see moved before the start of the year. It remains to be seen what will happen with Komarov's son at this point in time the 7th overall pick may need to be up in the bigs to help the roster out. The defense is a huge mystery right now with no one signed,he stated he would have liked to grab a defender in the draft, but there just wasn't one available at 7th and 3rd overall was slated to bring in the next franchise top keeper. He will have to focus on adding some guys via free agency, and will certainly be a focus next draft.

Its may be a long shot, but Komarov has stated he would if offered the chance try his hand at building the franchise. He states it may be too soon, that he just left the game. Which could hinder his chances, he isnt even sure he is on the radar. "I wont be disappointed if they go another direction, i want the team that gave me everything to be successful". "If they want me to lead the helm, i will if not i wish the next man all the best". Davos is now on its 3rd GM in the last 3 seasons, regardless of who is named. The franchise had a huge lose, Komarovs last year with many key FA let walk. The next year kicked off a huge rebuild, almost all key pieces dealt. Whoever takes on Davos will have a tough time, stop prospect already stated he wont play for a new GM. Which means he will be dealt, star goalie Sinclair is near the end of his career be best to deal him well he has value. It will be a hard challenge for whoever, gets the job. Komarov just hopes they can return it to glory.

Pavel Komarov- High IQ is his game The Early Years Pavel is the son of former Davos defender Vladimir Komarov, he got lucky being born before his fathers rise to fame. Born in Moscow, Russia he lived with his mother until his father finally settled down in Davs. When his fathers fame started to grow, the youngest son started getting more attention practically from the age he started skating till this point, like many legacies he is judged differently. Growing up was good for the former Davos defenders son, unlike his father who had to work his ass off and was adopted, Pavel always knew his parents they supported any choice he made. No pressure was on the young child to play hockey like his father, but the second he put on skates and could hold a stick like his father he fell in love with the game. Vladmir helped groom his son, but also made sure he focused on school, the youngest son was not only super intelligent off the ice but on the ice as well. Through out his school years, he played for all his school teams, and rep league. It was obvious the skill level was too low for their son, who seemed like he was destined to be even greater than his father. He quickly rose through the hockey ranks often playing against older competition. There was talk of sending, Komarov to North America, however they decided it would be best to keep him close to friends and family and focus on schooling. The Years leading up to the VHLM At the age of 15 Pavel Komarov, had already risen to the Swiss elite league. Tearing it up he looked beyond his years, his biggest trade mark was his two way physical play much like his father. Pavel ended up helping HC Davos, to the cup that year winning ROY, with almost a point and a half per game. The next year he,came back with even better results, playing on a line with NHL top prospect Austin Matthews the duo teamed up to be an unstoppable pair, both registering over two points per game. Their dominance was so great, showing why both of them are highly touted prospects they shared the leagues MVP award that season. Another cup ring would be in their future, Pavel had nothing left to prove in the Swiss league, and he was only turning 17 he was still in eligible for the NHL, and the VHLM. He talked to his father, about what might be best for his development. After a long talk they decided he would move to the states on a full hockey scholarship, he inked his deal with Boston College and took up his education as an engineer. After two years a frozen four cup, and a hobey baker award, it was time to decide his path. he graduated and decided with his fathers pending retirement he would join the VHLM.This was great news for the VHL as the draft was not seen as the strongest draft, the addition of a legacy player helped deepen the pool which was badly needed. His First VHLM Season Drafted in the 3rd round 18th overall, Pavel went later than expected, but that did not keep him down like his father Pavel joined Oslo Storm. Many suspect he will also be a Dynamo by the season 48 draft. He stated earlier this week he would rather join a new franchise, however he would not object to joining Davos. In season 48 Pavel Komarov became an elite two way player, finishing with 75points in 72 games played. Whats most impressive about him, is how balanced his stats are tenth in assists,5th in points as a center, 6th in FO% as a rookie,9th in hits. His +15 is 7 above the next highest, and one of 3 players that played the whole year as a plus on his team. His 36 shots blocked as a forward is among the league leaders as a forward, showing he truly is an elite two way threat. He will likely be down again in Oslo as he looks to potentially gain what he hopes will be one of many awards, and he hopes to help guide Oslo to a cup. It is obvious he will be a mid to late first in a rather weak draft, he hopes to prove himself and hopefully improve his draft stock grow and be drafted before his father.They have a bet going on who will end up being drafted first, its just a friendly wager but it has kept his son from slacking off before the draft. What The Future Holds His growth is expected to be very steady, his focus early in his career will be 5 areas defense, passing, face-offs, skating, and strength. The secondary skills he looks to improve, is checking, puck handling, and scoring. He projects to be a top tier second line two way center,much like a Thomas Plekanec though if you ask him,he wants to become a top line C, in the mold of Patrice Bergeron. Whoever drafts Pavel Komarov is not just getting a two way player,but a leader on and off the ice, a guy who will stick by his teammates no matter what. Much like his father he is fiercely loyal and only wants to play for one franchise his whole career.He realizes that is out of his control, that he could be dealt if the team chooses, but he hopes that he will stick to his teammates hearts so much they couldn't think of leaving him. Right now his focus is on creating his own legacy, separating himself from his fathers shadow. With his high hockey IQ, and strong offensive game it should be easy unless he plays in Davos where until he fully develops will be impossible. His father has already come out, and he stated he will be better than he ever was. That is pretty big words from such an important player fro Davos. Pavel only hopes he can live up to hype, so far it is looking good as he continues to work hard.
