The Seabasstard has formally bid farewell to the Wild as he cleaned out his locker over the weekend and said goodbye to other team mates and staff. As he was packing up his stuff a couple of journalists caught him to ask him some questions. Hey Seabasstard, how did you like playing for the Wild? "Well when I joined the wild, they were quite on the outside of the playoffs race, being quite a few points out of a playoff spot. I didn't really have much when it came to expectations, I came over to have a chance to work with GM @Doomsdayand to hopefully be able to make a impact and make a good first impression for myself in the VHLM. We ended up making a pretty good push for the last playoff spot out of the few games I was here for and I'm pretty proud of the improvements our team made near the end of the season and got to make a few new friends during my stay. Overall I had a good experience playing for the Wild." Would you be open to rejoining the Wild if they manage to select you at the VHLM Dispersal Draft? "I would definitely consider coming back to play with the Wild. I had fun here but the VHLM is a business and you don't pick where you end up in the VHLM draft so I don't want to disappoint myself by getting my hopes up to get selected by the Wild. This was a good group of guys but the odds are really slim for us all the reunite next year due to VHL graduations. It would also be real difficult to draft all of the late year additions we picked up this year after the VHL trade deadline like myself. In the end it doesn't really matter, I'll be happy where ever I go. " Did you have any parting words for the guys? "Well we all met quickly last night for a game of poker and a few beers. I had the chance to wrap up most of my farewells there and then but I'll take the time right now to wish all the guys the best of luck in the upcoming VHL Draft and the VHLM Dispersal Draft for the youngyuns like myself who aren't eligible for the VHL just yet. Were all taking important steps in our careers and I hope we all find success. I had a blast during my short stay here and I'm glad to have had the chance to meet everyone here." The Seabasstard had an impressive showing during his stay in Saskatoon amassing 10 points (2 goals and 8 assists) in his first 14 appearances in the VHLM. The small centerman showed that he could play efficiently at both ends of the ice and was relied on by his coaches to take many key faceoffs. His play down the stretch will for sure elevate his draft ranking and The Seabasstard himself expects to go early at the next VHLM dispersal draft.

The Seabasstard has announced that at the beginning of the offseason he signed on with a brand new agency founded by retired VHL player, Seabass Perrin who played 8 years in the big leagues. " I've been working very closely with Perrin this offseason and I've agreed to keep working with Perrin in the future as I agreed to sign him as my career manager. He has agreed to take me under his wing to groom me into a true professional athlete. Perrin and I have already established a workout regime for myself and I have been hitting the gym consistently as well as balancing out a proper diet plan. It's important to stay in shape and to live and eat healthy in order to have as long of a career as Perrin has. Perrin may be my manager in title but he's also done a real good job coaching me to be the best version of myself as I can be. I'm really fortunate to have the chance to work with such a good motivator."

The Saskatoon Wild may have bowed out early this year by missing the playoffs by 3 points but several young up and comers made quite the first impression after being late season additions for the team. One of them is center man, The Seabasstard who found steady ice time playing on the Wild's 2nd line. He started playing alongside veteran VHLM players such as Alex Burrows and Duncan Montana but near the end of the season, he found chemistry playing alongside the Wolf brothers. The Seabasstard finished the season having scored 10 points (2 goals, 8 assists) in 14 games and showed that he can have success playing with just about anyone. He also displayed how responsible he is in his own end and being such a complete player has earned The Seabasstard a place on many VHLM GMs draft list come the S77 VHLM DIspersal Draft. It'll be fun to see where and when he'll end up going.

1. Well i'm not eligible for the VHL draft so it looks like I'll be back for a full VHLM season. I try to focus on what I can control and I can't control which team I end up on. I have my preferences of course but I'll go anywhere to further my career. 2. Well I got to meet some good people and I got to make a solid start here in the M. Now I just gotta build on that 14-game preview next season. 3. I want to see the Phantoms win a cup, they got a lot of former Wild players on the roster and it would be nice to see them win. 4. Well I think it'll be a tight playoffs this year it's too hard to say. 5. I pay attention the juniors every year as it's a excellent tournament for new players to try and get VHL scouts to notice them. The Pro Am Tournament is also a excellent tournament and @PatrikLaine and the guys there have done a great job at keeping people entertained and included during the offseason. 6. I have never been to Saskatchewan, the furthest west I've been is to Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I will be claiming a 2nd week for this point task 2/2

Some tight and entertaining series going on

This trend is worrisome thanks for bringing this to our attention @gorlab

The Seabasstard's Junior Review Today I will be making my first introduction of my new player, The Seabasstard. Unlike my two previous players, The Seabasstard has no bloodline connection to the Perrin line of VHL players in any way. However that may be the former VHL player turned agent, Seabass Perrin has signed on with the player and will be managing the promising prospect's hockey career from this point on. Not very much was really known about The Sebasstard when he was drafted by his hometown Sudbury Wolves in the 14th round with the 274th overall pick of the OHL Priority Selection. The small center man struggled and failed to make the team in his first training camp with the team. He was obviously not good enough to make the junior league as a Not only was he small but he barely keep up with his peers on the ice and looked a little out of balance at times on his skates. Coaches told the kid that he better learn how to skate if he ever wants to play a game for the Wolves. The next year The Seabasstard had grown a few inches and showed a tremendous improvement in his skating ability. He apparently took his coaches criticism to heart and decided to seriously work on his skating and had been working with a power skating coach over the past year. He made the team that year as a 17 year old and built himself a respectable junior career over the next 3 seasons but ultimately don't impress enough NHL scouts to ever be drafted. Games Played Goals Assists Points 1st Junior Year 54 11 13 24 2nd Junior Year 63 23 31 54 3rd Junior Year 66 21 34 55 The Seabasstard left for Europe after being convinced to join the Czech Leagues after meeting Prague Phantoms player Seabass Perrin while volunteering at a hockey camp for kids. The Seabasstard has been in the Czech Republic Hockey Leagues ever since playing for 4 different teams over the span of 8 years and growing to become a Czech hockey star. Winning 2 Championships, 1 with Brno the other in Pardubice and on both runs The Seabasstard was named playoff MVP. Team Games Played Goals Assists Points Liberec 51 17 21 38 Liberec 52 15 19 34 Liberec 47 12 20 32 Brno 48 21 19 40 Brno 52 23 28 51 Mlada Boleslav 31 10 11 21 Pardubice 20 13 11 24 Pardubice 52 28 31 59 Pardubice 50 23 33 56 Now The Seabasstard returns to North America awaiting his next challenge, the VHL in hopes of winning even more championships. He made a good preview in the VHLM at the end of S76, signing on with the Saskatoon Wild to finish their season. He managed to put up 10 pts in 14 games in his VHLM debut and VHLM scouts and VHL scouts alike have taken notice to this promising young prospect. Now he awaits the VHLM Dispersal Draft to see where his career takes him next.

Today I have called on a informal zoom session here with some members of the press in order to formally announce my retirement from VHL Hockey. First of all I would like to apologize to all my fans and friends for not having the courage to do this press conference back in S75 when I played my last game instead of almost a year later. At the end of my career I was disappointed by not having been able to help my team get into the postseason and I felt embarrassed by not being able to help push the Phantoms past the 1st round of the playoffs during the 7 seasons I was there for. Hell we only made the playoffs twice during my tenure. So I after the S75 season I took a hiatus from hockey life in order to reflect and refresh myself before being able to make this statement. While I never could win any awards of any kind I wouldn't say my career was a total failure. I had a long career of 8 full seasons and played over 500 games played and to just be able to play in the VHL to begin with I consider myself very fortunate. I would like to take the time to thank the following: I want to first thank my parents, as without their support I would've not been able to become the player I became. My parents pushed me to be passionate about what I do and to pursue my dreams in the first place. They raised me to have a great work ethic and that is what helped me the most throughout my career. I appreciate all the early morning rides out to the rinks and the many storms you've had to conquer in order to get me to various hockey tournaments. I want to also thank my grandfather and agent for all of his guidance throughout my career. He gets credit for first teaching me how to skate and eventually then introduced me to the sport of hockey and the VHL. From a young age I idolized him and wanted to just follow in his footsteps and become a VHL player and that ended up becoming a reality. I couldn't of had such a long career without the help of many such as the management and players from the S67 Yukon Rush. I joined them just to try and see what the VHL was all about and they managed to keep me sticking around the VHL long enough to turn me into a 1000+ TPE player. I felt like we all had great chemistry there and we were so good that we truly should've advanced further into the playoffs then we did. Looking back, that S67 team created 11 VHL players who grouped together played almost 5000 VHL Games and accumulated almost 3000 points . There was some serious talent on that squad! @Josh @CowboyinAmerica @.sniffuM @Tbeez99 @Speed Yukon Rush Players Who Eventually Graduated to the VHL Name Career VHL Games Played Career VHL Points Willie Dredge 577 430 Lance Flowers 576 444 Wolf Stansson Jr. 576 446 Seabass Perrin 576 407 Erik Draven 504 442 Tony Bolonee 504 229 Alex Petrovic 504 269 A Red Guy 369 N/A Frans Eller 290 91 Nate Wright 288 108 Brendan Plunkett 216 87 4980 Total VHL Games 2953Total VHL Points Obviously the city of Prague and the Phantoms Hockey Family have also made a huge impact on my career. The Phantoms took a chance on me by drafting me 17th overall in the 2nd round of the S68 Draft and also brought over a few of my former Rush team mates, Erik Draven, Wolf Stansson Jr. and Willie Dredge along with me and since then I've grown to consider this city my home. I ended up getting drafted in time to play for the Phantoms during their inaugural season after they were expanded into the VHL and just being there for that inaugural season is something I'll always feel special about. We didn't have a good year as we were all young and we iced 9 rookies that year but we had a lot of fun and over the years we got to just grow together as a family from there. I got to bond and play many years of hockey with the same core group and while we never had a Continental Cup contending team I had a great time playing with all my teammates in Prague. I want to also thank the only other VHL team I played for, the Helsinki Titans and @Jubo07 who gave me my only opportunity at winning the Continental Cup. I joined what I thought to be a contending team but even though I had a blast with that group we had a underwhelming season. We performed when it counted though and I'll forever remember that magical playoff run to the finals, I just wish we could've came through in the end. I would like the thank specifically my former GM, @diamond_ace for originally selecting me in the S68 draft and for being one of the firsts to have faith in me as a VHL player and for ultimately giving me the honor and the chance to serve as this team's Assistant General Manager for a few seasons. You also were really cool about me going to Helsinki for a year to chase my Continental Cup dreams and even let me retain my role as AGM. Your a real stand up guy. I want to also thank all my friends I made over my career as they really made the VHL a more fun environment to participate in and it kept me more into it. Wolf Stansson Jr, who I played with since our time with the Rush and there's no player in which I've shared more games with than him as we got to play over 550 games together. @Cornholio Alex Pearson, who used to give me rides to practices and games back when I lost my license and join me in most of my off ice shenanigan. He became one of my closest friends in the VHL and we even shared some legal troubles in our careers. Today we even have a joint venture in a restaurant and bar we opened in the city of Prague, go check it out sometime. @Jayrad28 Erik Draven, who served as my first captain and was one of my very first friends in the VHL. We always kept in touch throughout our careers and he managed to convince me to join him for his final season in Helsinki for a year for a chance at joining a contender for the Continental Cup and we fell just short of making that a reality. @Jbeezy76 Ondrej Ohradka, who was just a blast to play with and was one of the more passionate guys I've met throughout my career. We were able to work together on a Point Task looking back at it I wasn't at all surprised to see you eventually grow to be selected as a VSN writer. @animal74 Players that I have played with the most 1. Wolf Stansson Jr. 576 Games 2. Alex Pearson 432 Games 3. Cinnamon Block 432 Games 4. Willie Dredge 360 Games 5. Dagmar Havlova 288 Games Thank you all for having the time to hear me out today. I wish everyone I met along my career the best and thank you all for contributing to my VHL experience. I will never forget my time in the VHL however I will forever be a Phantom fan for life. Go Phantoms Go. WORD COUNT 1273 words

Good morning VHL! I have returned! As some of you members may know, I took a one season breather from the VHL after the end of Seabass Perrin's career in order to focus more on what was going on in my life and I was just burnt out and needed to recharge mentally after a really stressful holiday season. I however promised a few of my friends here that I would be back come the trade deadline of S76, so here I am. I missed you guys and the VHL while I was gone and I'm just really happy to be back here to introduce my new player The Seabasstard. Now as I left the VHL back in S74 I didn't post any statements regarding Seabass Perrin's retirement. I wanted to make a Point Task out of it but I didn't exactly have another player made to claim it and I was still fresh off a disappointing last season where me and my team, the Prague Phantoms failed to make to playoffs. Seabass was my first serious player here so I feel like he deserves some kind of sendoff in some way. So expect me to put out a Media Spot this week to summarize Seabass' career.

Awe yeah my first vhlm goal! A lot better than my first game where I ended up getting beaten up in a fight lol

We held a vote over the last week or so to determine who would be wearing letters on their jersey's this season and be relied on to provide leadership for this young squad. The Prague Phantoms are proud to announce that Thomas Landry II will be our team's next captain as he won the vote by a landslide as received a nod (11votes) from almost every single player who voted. Serving as Landry's assistant captains will be Dan Baillie Jr. (4votes) and Riley Knight Gee (4votes). Thank you to all the players who have voted, and congratulations to this years leadership team! Go Phantoms Go! @Doomsday@KnightRiley @wcats

Thanks for giving me my first Managing opportunity @diamond_ace . I had given up on applying for AGM jobs completely after having my applications repeatedly ignored in the VHLM and DA gave me a chance when nobody else wanted to. Hopefully I was of some use over seasons. It was an honor serving as this team's AGM over the past 5-6 (can't remember) seasons and I will forever be grateful. Looking towards the future I will still be giving the Phantoms Phamily and the new AGM, @domg5 support in any way I can as I just fucken love this team.

1. It's almost draft day, is there someone out there that you'd recommend to the Phantoms scouting team? 2. The Phantoms have won the 2nd overall pick, the highest Phantoms selection since selecting Cinnamon Block 1st overall in S69. Who would you like to see the Phantoms select with that pick? 3. With the new year have you made any New Year's Resolutions? 4.Who do you got winning the Continental Cup? Malmo or D.C? 5. Is there any facet of your game that youd like to work on this offseason? 6. How far do you think the Phantoms are from being able to make their first ever finals appearance

@Tbeez99 This would be just fucken awesome Congrats on a good career though! Wish you all the best!

Mad respect for you man. Thanks for supporting this team till the bitter end and thanks for supporting my ass with some presser questions when I was being slack.
