Re-sim

Good luck in Prague @Tetricide I know @Tetricide will treat you right!
-
@Kisslinger It was a pleasure having you on the team even if it was for only one season. We wouldn't have won a cup without you. If we had unlimited cap space I would have kept you as long as you wanted to be here. I'm so happy we won a cup together and we can send you off with that. Good luck in Seattle and please stick around in the LR! @Banackock Probably our easiest negotiation we've ever had!

I don't wanna over state how Syko's GAA of 2.87 won us the playoffs.

GG Davos. I'll try to forget about the re-sim.

Congrats Hounds! A little surprised we didn't re-sim Game 5 might have given Ottawa a boost.

GG Calgary I was sweating after games 3 and 4. Game 3 was the only game that wasn't within 2 goals in the series.

@KaleebtheMighty I always enjoyed negotiating trades with you and I feel like the respect for each other was mutual. Sad to see you go before winning a cup feels unexpected to be honest. Hopefully we see you back in the saddle down the road.

GG NY all close games.

1. With 50% of the trades at the trade deadline being vetoed or potentially being vetoed; is 50% a passing grade or a failing grade? Explain… The trades that got veto'd we're fails and the trades that were approved were passes. But the math fail by Mal and Tor was the real failure since they had quite a bit of time to look over the numbers with the delay. 2. Mathematics can be very hard and one of the trades involved a mathematical issue with a team being over the cap. On a scaled of 1-10 how do you rate your math ability? Math class a 1. In my job as Joiner (woodworker) about a 9. In VHL I think we've been good at managing the cap and figuring out if a trade will work cap wise before we do it. 3. Olober Syko comes over to Vancouver for a 4th round pick and should take over the starting duties heading towards the play-offs. What do you think about the trade overall? Explain… As the person who came up with the idea before the season even started I would say it was a brilliant move. But if Simon continues to hate goalies it might not move the needle for us. I feel like the NA playoff rounds will be a crap shoot regardless since all the teams are so close. So having the best goalie on paper might give us an edge. 4. Part of the drama yesterday was maybe a member taking the Sim Hockey league a bit too seriously. So again, on a scale of 1-10 how serious do you take you Sim League hockey & why? I would say this league is probably my only online hobby other than looking at hockey stuff or message boards in general. I used to play video games a bit but have since lose interest. Most of my time is spent at work and then doing tasks when I get home so coming on here for a few hours everyday is a nice break. 5. Due to the rules Vancouver Wolves are in a position not to be able to meet the conditions of the trade with Warsaw and currently within the league rules cannot be punished for not meeting conditions. Should Vancouver still do everything to honor the conditions or screw over Warsaw since it was on the Warsaw GM to understand the rules? From a GM POV it's best to full fill the condition of the trade. I'm of the mantra that it's best to get deals done that benefit everyone. Ripping off other GM's will just cause distrust and make you someone the other GM's don't want to deal with. I'm definitely not perfect but I don't try to lowball or fleece teams. Even if I've been offered trades that would hurt the other team I try to avoid that to the best of my abilities. Since I don't want to see a team be crap forever because I had to get an extra pick or player out of a deal, as it ruins the experience for everyone. But it works both ways as well I want the team we're trading with to pay a fair price if they low ball me I'm less likely to negotiate with them in the future. 6. Part of the conversation or drama around Vancouver's pick stated that if Vancouver should win the Championship, it would be with a massive asterisks? Do you think this is fair? I don't think so. Teams can have their opinion but Syko for a 4th is still a reasonable trade since Warsaw isn't going anywhere with their current roster and I'm sure @Spartan would rather be on a team with an active LR and a chance to win. I think the change in wording on the condition also makes it more palatable but people will have their opinions regardless. 7. Also what is the correct spelling of Asterisk or Asterix? Both iterations work based off a quick google search.
