    Juan Ceson has a very large house. Truthfully, he has many large houses but this article is just about one of them. It’s a very, very, very fine house and it has two cats in the garden. There is also something else very special in his garden. It is the most special thing Juan owns (apart from Ivan the Zampony, his yacht and many other things). You see, there’s a gnome at the bottom of his garden and its name is Twists. There’s a gnome at the bottom of his garden and all that it can do is stand there all night and stand there all day. The neighbours say it’s a terrible sight. There’s a gnome at the bottom of Juan’s garden and its name is Twists. Juan doesn’t care what his neighbours say because he loves his gnome Twists and will never get rid of him. He will, however, steal Twists hat and wear it so he looks even cooler than he normally does.

    1. How did you come up with your player's name?
    I made a player who was only going to play one season so I could recreate the next season with my best friend @rory. 

    2. Do you think we have a shot at making the playoffs?

    You could definitely make the playoffs. But you also might not.

    3. Which VHLE team do you hope to be drafted by next season?

    I won't be drafted to the VHLE next season. 

    4. What do you think of the Hounds logo?

    Very blue and very doggy.

    5. When you're not online for the VHL what other hobby do you enjoy?

    There is stuff you can do outside the VHL?!

    6. As suggested by @BigIrish (thanks Big Irish!) - what pudding flavor is your favorite?

    Chocolate pudding is the best but if it's cooked right, Yorkshire.

    VHL Recruitment Drive S87 TDL - S88 TDL

    Hey everyone! It’s been a while since we talked about the recruiting perks that we have here in the VHL. You can get a fuller explanation of that by going to this article. 

     

     

    Anyways, in order to encourage some new members to come to the VHL, we have been approved to offer you some extra TPE as an incentive to bring in new members. Between the S87 Trade Deadline and the S88 Trade Deadline, you’ll have the opportunity to earn up to 5 uncapped TPE simply by bringing people in. If you bring in one person, you get 1 uncapped TPE. If you bring in two people, another 1 TPE. But, if you bring in a total of 3 people or more, you get 5 uncapped TPE. Meaning, for the third person you would claim 3 uncapped TPE. 

     

    Here's where it gets really fun. At the link above, if you clicked it, you’d know that we have a recruit-a-friend program here in the VHL. Let’s say you get three friends to join the VHL between those trade deadlines, BOOM 5 uncapped TPE. Now, if they stick around and earn TPE, you’ll get even more. Here’s the breakdown that can be found in the article above.

     

    100 TPE EARNED: 1 TPE for yourself
    250 TPE EARNED: 4 TPE for yourself
    500 TPE EARNED: 10 TPE for yourself
    Total 15 TPE

     

    This is a great way to increase the size of our community and earn some TPE for your own player. You can also try to “reactivate” some inactive members. They can be considered your recruit as long as they have been inactive for three seasons or six months. 

     

    To make sure you get credit for the people who join, create a thread HERE and make a new topic. Title the topic your username and recruits, so for me it would be “thadthrasher’s recruits”. Inside the thread you can tag the user who you have recruited. If they are recruited within the S87-S88 TDLs then make sure to number them so we can keep track. Once they reply confirming that you did recruit them, you’ll start getting your bonus TPE. 

     

    To claim the TPE you need to copy the link to where they replied “yes” to you recruiting them. Then, go to the portal, CLAIM UNCAPPED -> OTHER -> RECRUITMENT. After the initial bonus, if you want to claim TPE when they hit 100, 250, and 500 TPE you have to make the update in the forum yourself. When you do, do the same process as above to claim.

     

    Now, just a word of caution here. It is against our Code of Conduct to create multiple accounts. Doing so may result in TPE bans, forum/discord bans, or even a permanent ban. So, don’t try it.

    Is that 15 TPE per person if they all earn 500 TPE or is it 500 combined from all the people or is it 15 TPE for one person but only one person?

    6. Do you think the Aces need an actual mascot? If so, what should it be and what is its name?

    3. i know who the spy is but unfortunately they have paid me a lot of money to not tell anyone they are a spy. if you can beat their pay, i will tell you.

    4. juan should give up earning points. he is a defenceman. just focus on hitting people (in the face).

    5. atlanta thrashers are my favourite team (bonus points please). they have a very cool logo and i like the blue jersey. also they havent lost a game in over a decade.

    6. yes, we can get a roulette wheel mascot. its name will be roully the roulette wheel. you will be able to play giant roulette with its costume.

    Juan Ceson Contemplates Retirement

    Once again, Juan has been contemplating retirement. He has had an offer from one of the world’s best casinos (that is run by Juan) who want to hire him to permanently live in their casino and gamble there all day, every day. This is a very tempting offer for Juan who would like nothing more than to be able to gamble all the time and not have to do anything else. However, he knew that he would be letting down the Las Vegas Aces if he did this and so spoke to his GM Blazzer before making any decisions. Unfortunately, it seemed that Blazzer was already making plans to dismantle the Juan Ceson empire in Vegas even though she had no claim to any of it. It is clear that Juan is not valued by the management in Vegas. Luckily for the Aces, Juan’s third favourite player on the team Ivan Varlamov happened to be visiting the management offices at the same time and Juan realised that they don’t allow ponies in the casino and he would have to be separated from his best friend so he turned the offer down.
