Review: Hey Matt! Wonderful to see our newest member thriving on the blue line. It must’ve been tough to transition to another team. I have yet to have to move teams in the vhl, and I dread the day it happens to me. You are having a great start here, and we’ll see what we can do in the post season! Maybe add a bigger bolded title. Colour and a picture or 2 as well could help. Overall it was a nice read! 8.5/10

Review: What a greatly detailed article on Madison that not only follows a great story line, but also highlights key moments and stats along the way. I love the ending paragraph that leaves the reader excited to see what this player can do in the future! I normally don’t go higher then 8.5/10 for articles with no bigger titles up top, colour, or pictures, but this was truly a fun read. 9/10!

Malmo have had a great mid/late season push that has seen them shoot back to 2nd place. This comes after Malmo has been hanging out in 3rd for more then a few days now. With 3 wins out of 3 against Moscow in just the past couple days, it’s been a good sign that has shown the nighthawks haven’t gone anywhere yet. Almost every player is a ppg or better on Malmo, which is something I can’t recall being done By a team for some time. The Nighthawks hold a record of 35-16-1, and sit just 4 points back of the Menace, while holding a game in hand. Brendan Telker leads the team in points with 91 through 52 games. He commented on the teams new energy to pick up the play a bit. “I think after our huge unbeaten streak, we fell into not bad hockey, but just small slumps here and there. I’m proud the way the team has persevered past that to where we are now.” Said Telker post game after a recent 2-0 win.

Review: Nice read about a player making a bit of a comeback not only in hockey but in his personal life too! Titles to each paragraph are nice, maybe I would make them bigger but that’s just me. Paragraphs are pretty clear to read but I noticed quite a few comma’s. Other then that overall good job! 8.5/10

Review: This is a great media spot from start to finish. Starting with a simple but clean and bold title, to narrowing in on the last couple games with team banners that fit in well. That’s a rough past few days for the wranglers. Your game breakdowns are awesome, talking about key points in the game during the loses. Good luck to you guys for the rest of the season! 9.5/10

It’s been an insane week for Malmo as they are on a 13 game winning streak. What has made it even more exciting is the fact that they have won in a lot of different ways. The offence has been one of the main ways Malmo have been able to win so many games. It starts with Telker who is currently 3rd in the league for points, with 49 through just 25 games. When Malmo haven’t been winning games in 5-4 fashion, they have had a few were they’ve only let in a goal or 2. If you hover over to Malmo’s team scoring, your eyes might pop. No player on the entire team has less then 31 points through the first 25 games. “It’s been a real group effort where everyone is hot. There’s a good vibe in the dressing room that has allowed everyone to perform super well.” Said Telker. It would be incredible if the team could maintain this group effort. A loss is probably in the books at some point, but none the less they are a happy bunch right now.

Review: This is a well written review that I could tell was done with some insight on the teams strengths and weaknesses. It’s always good to keep GM’s on their toes by media spots like these where it can also provide insight from a locker room type perspective. Some kind of title or picture would be awesome and really take this media spot to the next level. As a former wild player myself, good luck on the rest of the season! 8.5/10

Offense clicking for Marlins in wins over Aces, Wild

Review: This is a nice update on the Marlins that talks about the season as a whole so far, while also talking about some key moments along the way. I would add some kind of picture and/or title instead of the same plain words from start to finish. Other then that, paragraph structure was nice and I enjoyed the read. Good luck on the rest of the year! 8.5/10 -
We are now roughly 10 games into the season now, so I figured I’d go over some shockers and some things happening that aren’t surprising at all. Starting with the NA conference. Calgary, Toronto, and Seattle hold the top 3 spots, and nothing there surprises me at all. LA takes 4th spot, but it’s New York in 5th that is coming out the gates okay despite having a bottom of the league type roster. Vancouver has a decent team in 6th place, and they at least should make a play in round with that roster in theory. Chicago and DC are doing what I expected. The EU top 5 is all fairly close in terms of on paper rosters, but it’s Moscow that’s really running away with it so far. The bottom 3 current teams at time of writing are all having okay starts but are still bottom of the EU, which is what I would have guessed for those teams as well.

Intro Malmo haven't gotten off on quite the right foot with what they were hoping for 10 games into the season. The Nighthawks currently sit 5th in the EU which is only good enough for a qualifying round. That will not do for Malmo who have expectations for top 3 in the conference again this season. They went 5-5 in what were many high scoring contest's. The most recent game saw Malmo take an 8-6 loss vs Warsaw, where defense was almost non existent the whole game. Malmo sit +2 in goal differential, and have 46 goals for and 44 goals against, showing that Malmo has a highly skilled offense, and really need to work on defense. There aren't any huge shocks ahead of Malmo that are overperforming, so Malmo will have to work hard to at least maintain the race for the top 3. Offense Clicking The offense for Malmo is being lead by a newer face in Taylor Mourning, who leads the Hawks with 20 points through 10 games. While 145 points would be crazy for Mourning, this pace probably isn't sustainable. None the less, he's on track for a massive breakout year. Wu is 2nd in scoring while leading all the defenders with 17 points and 15 assists. Minion is challenging for rookie of the year with 17 points as well. Sosa and Telker have 16 points each, which are nice offensive starts for these two veterans. Eso is doing really well with 12 points despite probably getting less ice time. Welch has 12 points from the blueline, While Kaberle has 9 points. Deathwalker has 8 points which is the lowest on the team, despite nearly being on a point per game pace. Moral of the story here is that you probably won't have to worry about the Nighthawks offense this year. What's going wrong It's been a horrific defensive start to the year for the Nighthawks, who pretty much let in a goal every time they score one, so the bottom line is that everyone needs to tighten up. Of course the Goaler's for Malmo have not been great either, but of course they can't take all the blame with a shaky defense in front of them. Tretiak has a 4-5 record, with a .876 SV% and a 4.53 GAA. Carson has just played several minutes this year, so I'll wait longer before reporting more proper stats on him. The EU looks tight in the top 5, with Malmo of course at the bottom of that group for now. Telker spoke to the media after their 8-6 defeat to Warsaw. "It was a wake up call for sure, and that game pretty much summed up how the season is going too. We know our strengths, now we gotta tighten up and help out our goalers." Said Telker. The schedule doesn't lighten up at least in the short term for the Hawks, with Toronto, LA, and HC all in their next 3 games. those are all top 10 teams in the league without a question, so Malmo will have to be at the top of their game.

Review: This is a nicely written article about 2 friends who find some excitement and success together. Like greg just said, don’t bold the paragraphs and consider a smaller size. Some colour would be a nice addition to this article. Big fan of the writing. I’m sure next time you clean it up a bit more visually! 7.5/10

Review: This is a well written media spot with some comedy to it which I love. I’ve heard some stories of retirees doing crazy stuff once they have a ton of free time to fill haha. I like the gif and picture you show as examples to show just how huge the rock got. Maybe just a bigger title with a bold or underline up top. Other then that I love the read. 9.5/10
