I don't care what kind of PT, we just need more of them. Not enough variety. Only ways to earn capped TPE are:
Media/Graphic/Podcast/Welfare Fan 590 Job Fantasy/Trivia  
Having just 4 weekly TPE opportunities is pretty poor. Things get stale, and not enough reason to check in every day.

we weirdly played them every game this sim and went 2-3.  As Lawson and Goose get better we'll tip the scale.  with the amount of shots we put up, theres no way we cant.

Hood gets 0 points in the first 3 games, then 6 in the next two. 
 
Gotta figure out a way to start beating Oslo.

There are plenty of members who support the VHLM and know what a strength it could be for the league.
 
Unfortunately, I feel like a lot of older, ingrained members kind of look down their nose at it cause they're not in it anymore or have nothing to do with it.... what ever their reason, it gets second hand treatment, late sims, few updates, and it makes members of the VHLM feel like second hand members.     WHICH IS A HUGE ISSUE CONSIDERING THIS IS A DEVICE FOR WELCOMING NEW MEMBERS TO THE LEAGUE.

Hey @fruitcake, I know writing articles or doing podcasts isn't for everyone.  I notice you have been on recently but I haven't seen any updates on your player.  Gaining TPE is as easy as either Claiming Pensions or just throwing a couple reaction posts on a few games and claiming points from The Practice Facility.  If you need a hand with anything please feel free to reach out to me, or anyone in here. We're all happy to help.  
 
And @diamond_ace,  I know you're around a lot, being BOG and all.  Just wanted to see if you have any plans with updating Lawson.   We're in a tight race with Ottawa and we could use every bit of help we can get TPE wise.

The Las Vegas Aces are boasting some serious talent who will be available for the S59 VHL Draft.
 
Leading the way is Goalie Marcel St. Laurent @Frank.  St. Laurent is in second place in the VHLM in both wins and save percentage with one less game played behind Ottawa Goalie O'Tarth.  Even more impressively, St. Laurent leads the league in GAA.  A true puck stopper, St. Laurent's numbers only look to get better as he improves, and as his teammates in front of him improve.
 
Building from the net out, Defenseman Brandon Hood @philthethrill81, is the rock and soul of Las Vegas' blue line.  He is top 10 in hits, shots blocked, and PIMS. More impressively,  he has the most assists in the VHLM this season, and sits in second place in defenseman scoring in the entire league!   Vegas is rumored to be shopping for a defensive partner for the star blue liner, so things tend to be looking up for Hood in the future.
 
Evan R. Lawson @diamond_ace and Gary Goose @fruitcake play the wings on Vegas' Top line. Goose is in top 10 in goal scoring in the league this year, and Lawson is putting up solid numbers, good enough for 6th place among left wingers in the VHLM.  A little more effort in practice and these two players have bright futures ahead of them!
 
Keep an eye for some of these players to be plucked from the pile early in the draft this year.   

As I said in the other topic, sorry for the delay on this. Obviously it’s a very busy time of year for everyone; blue team included, so it slipped through the cracks a bit. That or @Will had a bit of PTSD because of the last time he did this. In any case, you all picked a present I believe so how would you like to know what’s inside?

As strange as it may sound, implementing this might actually increase the likelihood of some members writing articles/doing graphics here. I know I for one would be more inclined to write every week, as I can come up with 500 words here far easier then say EFL. I would be far more likely to write an article here if I know it's benefiting me in multiple leagues rather then just this one (especially considering I can claim welfare for just 2 TPE less). 

That idea has helped this place run for nearly 60 seasons, but we need to be open to change. We won't last if we keep on chugging along as is.
 
Unless you can come up with some other way to attract new members, 100% it's worth it.  You shouldn't be asking what will happen if we make these changes, as there is no telling what will come of that, but rather what will happen if we don't make this change, or one of equal size.
