I don't know, the player claimed to be retired is not retired. I approved the initial trade and don't believe there needs to be a voiding at present.

CJ Daniels was in original trade and supposedly claimed to be retiring but he's not retired on the portal so dunno what's going on

1. I think they're just a good team, there aren't many of them in the league so they're probably our top competition outside the EU as it stands. 2. Dickhead award. He's a real ass in the LR and on the ice. 3. No posting dogs, I just don't like them. 4. Anything involving those stupid seal emotes, they're ugly and look braindead. Get rid of them. 5. Riga's crept their way up in the EU standings, so maybe they're not a dark horse anymore. But they're in a similar spot to us where they're leaning on some retiring players and they'll be hungry for a strong push in their final season. 6. I think they could go deep, certainly a good team that many teams are now trying to model retools after. I don't think it's feasible for the league to imitate them, but kudos to them for baiting teams into trying shorter rebuilds that are likely destined for failure.

Also isn't this going to significantly skew in older players' favor? Like we should be able to acknowledge that a max earning second year player should be better than a pension clicker when both careers play out. Obviously we can't properly predict every max earning rookie that far, so there's caution needed, but I'd pretty confidently put Petan over CPG.

My feedback would probably lean more towards adding things beyond just render and player name - I don't love the attributes being involved as much the way the SHL does it, but I think if we make seasonal cards, the stats for that season would be pretty sick. I'm also not sure that I love that card template itself, maybe I'm just too addicted to other TCG card types where they're a bit flashier? But beggars can't be choosers Love the effort and would be super excited to see what you guys can come up with!

Kazuma Satou has made it to the VHL, and has seemingly been tossed straight into the deep end with his deployment on the Moscow Menace. After a brief stint opening the season with the top line duo of Maverick Goncalves and Jarmo Ruutu, General Manager Euron Leonidas has seemingly not seen enough from the rookie forward to deserve the top minutes, instead opting to promote the veteran Catia Goncalves to the first line. Satou now sits on a wing alongside Pombo and Obuz Schneider Canet du Bocage, in a line quickly named "the disaster line" by fans on social media after word of the new lines in practice were announced. The fans' intent in naming this line may be in jest after Obuz commented on his deployment with Pombo as "we getting negative points this season" in a press conference earlier in the season, with fans commenting that a true disaster would be if Satou was added to the other end of the line. One fan noted the line would be "injury prone - converted defenseman - rookie converted defenseman" - a combination potentially never seen before in the VHL's history. So far, the combination doesn't show any significant issues with Obuz and Pombo leading the team in points with 15 and 12 in 9 games. Whether the combination will stick is yet to be seen as the first line has seen their share of struggles after the Satou-Goncalves switch, potentially indicating that Satou is the real driver of offense and playmaking within the forward group.
