  4. Hello again, Thanks to all who participated in the third season of Super Coach! Excited to see the number of participants increasing each iteration, it's great to see people's interest increasing. Below are the results of this season's Super Coach. I've made a tweak to ensure users who go over the cap are initially put in the minimum TPE bracket to prevent manual adjustments after the fact, or any issues around unfairness. This has impacted the formatting a bit which may impact visibility on mobile/small screens and required some overhauls of the formulas in the sheet, so please let me know if you notice any errors. I've tried to adjust the formatting to be ok on mobile by condensing, but no promises.   13. 1. I don't really have any expectations, although any gifts to help with my new apartment are always welcome. I got some small appliances for my birthday which was very nice. 2. Pretty much as you said, shaping up really well. I think competition for roster spots is good - it'll motivate everyone to be their best knowing that their spot is never safe. 3. I dunno if it's extra motivation for folks. I'm sure if we lose a game, it'll be extra all my fault. So that won't be fun for me. 4. I'd say probably the community we have in Moscow. It's really cool to have alumni and guests with no ties to the organization be active in the LR. I know other teams try to emulate that with mixed results. So I'm grateful for the folks that chat in our server. 5. Probably gen chat and complaining without solutions or willingness to help. Gen chat is a cesspool and people keep complaining that there's no activity. I've long advocated for people to stop putting their time towards gen chat and more towards their team LRs where there's less negativity and whining. People also love to complain but aren't always willing to back up complaining with their time or effort to fix a problem. All it does it cause more annoyance to those actually putting in their time to help. 6. I'm actually driving to my annual family friend Christmas get together now. It's nice that we have a yearly event for this with a set host. Gives all of us who grew up together a great reason to all coordinate being in town at the same time.

  17. It's finally official - I've quit a VHL job. I've decided that I'm done being an updater, as I would have access to the update queue regardless as a commissioner, and also that we finally have a Head of PT who can handle flagged updates without them sitting in the queue for a full week. It was mostly for those reasons that I decided to step down and formally reduce my load in the VHL. Now, I'm sure some minor red flags go up if I'm quitting a job - you might be wondering "why is he reducing his workload?" Realistically, I'd like to dedicate more time to the other jobs I hold and completely eliminate any pressures for updating. Frankly, updating had become a side thought for me in recent months, and it was time to formally quit once V.2 was hired as Head of PT. I have higher responsibilities as financier and M Commissioner, especially now that I've committed to assisting Recruitment since that team and the VHLM should be working hand in hand. I've begun to assist Moon in his role, and will do my best to help him get comfortable in his role with adequate league staff support and oversight. At the end of the day, I enjoyed updating and think the current folks do a great job. There's just room for a couple more folks and I'm just not needed to carry a heavy load anymore. I'll try to put more effort into my other roles and be more of a proactive member in resolving community issues through the BoG as well, which has been stagnant for a little bit now. Hopefully these will all be helpful to the league's continued success.
  18. Hello, As we all know, the VHL Recruitment team is one of the most important roles in our league when it comes to bringing in new faces to the league. There's been no shortage of criticism or feedback for the team recently, and with prior members of the team stepping down for various reasons, we now have room to bring on a few more members (2-3) to provide value to the team. Responsibilities (can be delegated/split across users): - Participate in contacting various recruitment avenues for permission to post advertisements (Youtube, Reddit, other sites). - Assist in brainstorming new recruitment methods. - Participate in social media activities as needed. - Work in a team to provide results - new members. If you feel like you can do one or more of the above, please apply below! I will reach out if needed to gather additional information about your ideas for the team. Pay is 6 TPE per week.
