Boy I can hear the negative reactions already....
 
I just wanted to throw a quick announcement out there in advance so that everyone doesn't get surprised by it. Our @Simmer team obviously works very hard all year to give the league nearly daily sims between the regular season, playoffs, and off season tournaments. There is a bit of time off here and there but for the most part it's a daily thing. We were hoping that playoffs would line up well with Christmas again like they did last year and provide us with an easy excuse to have a couple of days off for the holidays but sadly no dice this time around. For that reason we have decided that sims will be halted from tomorrow, December 24th, to resume on Monday, December 27th.
 
I know it is inconvenient to have 3 days without sims but as we frequently remind our members the simmers are not robots and need time as well so a holiday break is the least we can do. So enjoy the sims today, embrace a few days with family and friends (if possible, stupid covid) and we'll see you all on the 27th for more Regular Season action in the 3 leagues.

Nothing, I'm happy with my player.

Bring up Vasile Lamb from VHLM! He is basically already capped to come up to the VHL after only his first season in the VHLM!
 
6.)  Which VHL team would you want to play for, if you couldn't play for Warsaw? 
I guess I would want to go back to New York if I couldn't play for Warsaw.

Review:  Awesome article.  Succinct, well written, and good photographs with interview.  I wish I could do the graphics (still learning).  I Liked the humble interview that is typical with most hockey players.  Plus we are on the same team and so I have to give 10/10 on this.  

At this point in his career, Maxwell Mathias has been labeled as a talent with potential, and rightfully so. He's shown up with relative success so far since being drafted by San Diego, 37th overall. Some would say that it was a steal for the young defenseman. Mathias came into San Diego with open arms, even some saying that he had talks with management before even being drafted. Opening up, Mathias would happily share his thoughts with a local San Diego radio station. Below are the aforementioned words:

The truth is, when I didn't get as drafted as I wanted, I had a chip on my shoulder. We've went over this ordeal a time or two before already. It's already been said. I had the urge to get better, and I've continued to work on my game. I've tried my best to prepare myself as a cornerstone for these Marlins, until I prepare myself to be drafted to the big league. Until then, I'm going to keep doing what I do best, and that's defending, executing on those crucial power plays, and just being the best player I can for San Diego. Review: I like this graphic. The shadowing is done well on the player and it works with the text. One potential adjustment I'd like to see is to have the background match a bit more with the render and be a similar colour. Right now, its a bit of purple/gray colour and I think if it were blue it would match up well with everything. 7.5/10

THE PROLOGUE -- The Start of something special. 
 
                    Maxwell Mathias was born in a fairly common household in Louisville, Kentucky. As a child, Maxwell identified with sports at a young age. It was his collective love for Football, and Basketball alike that drew Maxwell into trying out for his local school teams. Unfortunately for Maxwell, it wasn't well received -- He was left without a passion after failing to land on either team. After failing, Maxwell would watch his cousin, Kai excel as he would flourish in his high school, before ultimately going Tuscon to play college ball. Kai would then be drafted, and subsequently forgetting about his younger cousin.  This left a sour taste in Maxwell's mouth due to not only his jealousy, but his desires to succeed as well. 
 
                    It wasn't until his junior year of high school that Maxwell would see an opportunity before his eyes. Oddly enough, it didn't come in the form of basketball or football, but instead Hockey. At first, Maxwell wasn't interested in such a thing. After all, he was just a kid from Kentucky. There were only a few things that really took precedent in his home state. Those being bourbon, horse racing, basketball, and football. All four of which had no interest in Maxwell, nor did Maxwell have a desire after failing once before. However, shifting back to hockey -- Maxwell found a unique calling card, realizing he had a natural gift of defending. Granted he wasn't even on a high school team, let alone a professional hockey team. It didn't stop him from at least trying to hone his craft. At every turn, Maxwell would prepare himself for competition. He had a desire to best his foes. To stand at the top of the crop. 
 
                    After following through with his newfound passion, Maxwell has decided to continue his love for hockey. Pursuing a shot at the VHL. He hasn't had much luck going before him, but deep down -- Maxwell knew what he brought to the table. He was more than understanding of the circumstances needed in order for him to succeed. He couldn't fail again. For him, this was ultimately his final chance. Maxwell didn't have a back plan. Not a major in mind. Maxwell was at the point of no return. You see, for this Kentucky native -- Maxwell longed for a chance to support himself, and his family. Feet don't fail him now. Maxwell looks forward to the draft process, and has mentally prepared himself for where this next chapter could take him.

Review: Great banner, it is not too flashy and it encapsulates the beauty of the city while also amplifying the beauty and symmetry of the logo itself. The long Legion logo is perfect for this fairly long banner and the long sky view of the city. The colour gives it a great feeling of being sky high, which matches the bird of the Legion logo. The best part about the skyline picture you chose is that it shows so much sky, which also gives this feeling of a sky or flying theme. Love the banner, I don't really have much to add but also don't have anything to criticize. It's really nice.

Way better than my first attempt, brother. Keep at it! I look forward to seeing your progress! 

I really just love how clean the Toronto logo is. Which makes me slightly biased towards liking just about anything with that logo in it. I also like clean graphics, but this is a bit too minimalist. It would need something more to create slightly more contrast between the logo and the background. Or alternatively just something to make the background pop a bit more. Which I know is a useless word to use to review something, as it literally doesn't mean anything. But this is one of those situations where I look at it and just feel like something is missing. But I have a hard time saying what it is. I had the same issue when I was making the (admittedly pretty lazy) banner for my profile with the Miami skyline. My solution was to copy the original base layer without the gradient map and set it to some blending mode (think either Overlay or Modify) to bring in the contrast of the highlights and the shadows again. That being said I wasn't particularly happy with my results. But it did at least bring back some contrast. So can't really give you what I'd consider a good solution. Because I don't know it.😅
 
Overall though I give it a 8/10 mostly because I like cleaner graphics and the Toronto logo. But hey I get to be biased if I feel like it!

Talking about our team i can't say that i'm happy to see where we are right now, we need to improve some aspects of our game to prove that we are playoff team

Honestly, i haven't thought about it ,  a few breeds of dogs appeal to me a lot, i would say there is a small labrador inside me
