    1. I’m just looking forward to watching g the battle for the title.

    2. Absolutely I have ambition of working in a front office. I’m not ready for that now but it’s certainly something I’m built for.

    3. I don’t foresee myself being an early pick but I’ll be happy to just be drafted if someone wants to take a chance on me. I’ll definitely make everyone who passes on me wish they hadn’t one day.

    4. I would’ve done a few more TPE events to boost my guy some more.

    5. Coach some volleyball honestly. I run a club here and our season was cut way too short. I’d like to get some skills development sessions going to give our kids a chance to get back to doing what they love.

    6. I like almost any music. Mostly upbeat stuff. Anything that can keep me motivated and moving I’m good with. I don’t have a favourite song at the moment but some of my favourite artists over the years were Green Day, Will Smith, and others.

    5. Going to the mall
    6. Rock for sure. I don't really have a favorite but Old time Rock and Roll is one of my favorites.

Bacon reacted to LastOneUp in Hounds battling adversity to stay in hunt for playoff spot after trading top star
The Mississauga Hounds are battling adversity to stay in hunt for playoff spot after trading their top star to the #1 team in the league. They did acquire a first and second round pick for the team leader in points, so the return will be worth it in the long run. It seems obvious @Berocka does not think it is the Hounds time. Or maybe he thinks it's time for his youngsters to step up with more opportunity.

The Mississauga Hounds have remained in the race for a spot in the VHLM Playoffs by latching onto one idea since the start of training camp: Staying in the fight.

Despite a revamped defenseman group and injury issues throughout the season, the Hounds are 4 points behind Halifax for the last playoff spot as of Tuesday.

"We have one of the youngest teams in the League, and there have been some points in the season where (normally) ... there would be some hard meetings and hard practices, but we just don't have the ability to do that," said assistant captain Michael Mac, who has 38 points (13 goals, 25 assists) in 41 games this season. "So I think we've done a really good job of trying to teach and trying to get the most out of everyone and trying to empower as many guys as we can so that we've got a lineup full of guys that feel they're involved in the game and involved in us pushing for a playoff spot.

"I don't think I can count the easy days on one hand because there haven't been any. There haven't been any lollipops [and sunshine]. It's been a really challenging year for a lot of different reasons."

After Mississauga qualified for the postseason in S69, finishing 2nd overall with 117 points, its chances seemed to take a hit that offseason with practically all of its top players moving on. Then, yesterday, on April 13 @Da_Berr Andrew Su was traded to the Ottawa Lynx.

Once the season began, the odds grew larger, with Mississauga losing currently in the middle of losing 8 of its last 9 games. An awful stretch in any league. Many against the elite teams were never close, ending in blowout fashion.

    Belief has remained, Mac said.

"We haven't turned our backs on each other," he said. "We haven't pointed fingers. Even after the stretch where we were losing a lot of games, we just keep having beers together, doing things together, staying in it together, chilling in the Discord and ultimately that builds some equity at the end of the season when it's hardest."

The Hounds dropped out of playoff position when they lost five in a row, but are still only 4 points out.

Instead of having a high-profile group of defensemen making frequent highlight-reel plays, the Hounds have become more workmanlike out of necessity, defenseman Albert Stoner said.

"As a function of some of our lost players and obviously some changes to our blue line, we've had to battle for every inch we've gotten," said Stoner. "Nothing's been given to us. In past years maybe we could sort of win some nights just off our skill. We still have a ton of skill in our room, but that's just not the way you play if you want to win games.

"Perhaps a good lesson for a pretty young group."

Mississauga will need those lessons for its remaining games. The next is against San Diego on Tuesday.

"It's a little bit different team than last year," said forward @JBrew42, who has 40 points in 43 games. "With the guys we have here and with all the injuries we have, we've tried to grow more as a team, and it's definitely something that's kept us in the fight.

"We've played [like it's] the playoffs for the last couple of weeks at least and it's not going to get any easier. All the other teams above the line are winning, too. So just try to grind it and hopefully make it, but it won't be easy."

But having overcome the adversity this long, the Hounds are driven by the possibility of reaching the postseason, Mac said.

"It's right there for us," he said. "There's a lot of excitement in our room about having an opportunity. We have a lot to play for."

                                                                                                              Bacon! Bacon! Bacon!

That name? Oh it's nothing but the hound's newest starting goalie from russia. So, who is bacon? Well for starters, he's a fierce young man with the ambition to become one of the greatest goalies in VHL. Here's a secret: he wasn't always into hockey, WHAT?! shocker, i know, but he didn't start until 8th grade. Why wait so long?  Mainly because of his parents work and his rest of the family were in america until his grandparents moved back to mother russia.
So . . . What kind of player is he? Ambitious, tough, strong, deligent, kind, smart, rarely gets into fights but what i believe is most important, he is positive. He is also a defensive mind kind of player, mainly due to being a defender from 8-10 grade until he became a goalie since 11th grade.

Throughout his high school career, he was a good but not great defender. Main issue? Balance. He tried to fix this issue up until he became a goalie realizing, he enjoyed that position and loved it with passion, winning goalie of the year gold as a senior and goalie of the year silver as a junior. Once he graduated, he recieved a letter from multiple russian leagues to join them, however, he chose the VHL, due to low population of goalies, it will give him a huge chance to prove himself as one of the best goalie's in VHL. Once he entered free agency, He was greeted by a letter from Berocka, welcoming him to the league and sending him an offer to his team, the Mississauga Hounds who are currently fighting for the last playoff position. Bacon accepted the position and was greeted by his teammates, who helped encourage him and mentored him so far. He wrote a letter to his team after his first few games thanking them:

"I am writing this after my first few games and although my first 2 games didn't go into the right direction, i felt the proper experience from these games and fixed many of my weaknesses and gains strengths. before these games, I've recieved plenty of answers to my questions, help, and even encouragement from my team. Although ive been through a rough start, I feel confident that I can get better thanks to the GM, Berocka and many of my teammates encouragment. I'd also like to thank Berocka for taking the chance on recruiting me. I hope together we can end this season wonderfully.      -Bacon"

    Bacon's first game
He started his 1st game playing the full 60:00 min. Accumulating a total of 17 saves out of 21 shots, giving him a .810 saving percentage. Despite his efforts, they lost that game against the san diego marlins 4-1 but Nonetheless, he placed some good numbers on his 1st game.

    Bacon's first win
on game 213 vs Mexico City Kings, Bacon was a winner. The goalie stacked up 22 saves from 24 shots and a .917 saving percentage. His team went on to win 4-2 that game with an impressive 3rd period comeback that racked up 3 goals.
His thoughts on his first win: " Im estatic and happy to finally win and do something impressive but im ready to move onto the next games and help my team to the playoffs. Respect to the Kings for a great game".

    Final thoughts
This rookie has the potential of becoming one of the greatest goalies in the league and it helps him even better that he landed on a very supportive team. It is going to be tough, there are going to be some ups and downs for him but he is a kid who can go through them all unfazed. Welcome to the VHL, Bacon.
