Its been a year or so and its definitely been bad to not be able to be in the discord although I'm certain many of you guys love not seeing the kid that annoyed you 24/7. So.. another depressing day of online school, no friends to meet with, in an empty cold room listening to my teachers ramble about civics and algebraic equations. Anyways, how have you guys at the VHL been doing? I know that for most of you it's probably pretty similar, doing meetings and doing work from home, or working at the office. My life has been pretty dull lately and I am mostly taking the welfare and training points for 6 TPE but with nothing to do, I'm making an effort to get more TPE now. Some recent things that have happened as accomplishments in the VHL world of things for me are that Beav fixed messenger for me, I got picked up by the Mexico City Kings, I have over 100 TPE, and I became an Asst. Captain for Mexico. As for my personal life, I do still play baseball, and I actually picked up 2 new hobbies that I enjoy, which are paddleboarding and fishing! I like to go out to Newport Beach or Mammoth Lakes on the weekends and go paddleboarding or take a kayak out on the water to hopefully catch some fish. Although this pandemic has given me more options to explore and also some more time that I could use to do things that I want to, I do still miss playing with my friends on the yard and going to play flag football against the other schools. Anyways let’s move on from my rant and back to some VHL things. My team Mexico has recently been doing quite well and has managed to hold an even record after going on a 6 game winning streak the last week. I am pretty proud of my team and I also learned that a season was only 6 weeks! Thought it was like a few months and you guys were really old but apparently not. I guess more free 10 training camp TPE! Anyways, not being on the discord and having limited communication with the VHL community can be boring at times but oh well, what can I really do? I guess like 8 months left. To you boomers like 30-year-olds, that’s only 1/45th of your life but it’s 1/18th of mine. Make you feel old? If it did I’m sorry but I really need to write 500 words for this media spot and I just only reached 400. Also, OrbitalDeath, if you are reading this, please don’t decline this media spot. Ok anyways as this is coming to a close I’ll talk about some goals that I have for my player (the best player ever) 114 TPE Fong’s Son. Some goals that I have for the upcoming season is 100 points, 400 shots, and boosting my overall to 55 or more. As for what I am focusing my TPE on, I focus mainly on scoring, defense, and skating, which are all at 74, and I want to get them to 90 by the end of the next season. My lifetime goals for this player are, to make it to Hall of Fame status, have an award named after me, get at least 2 cup wins, get MVP once, and become more of a meme in the VHL than I already am. (Last one Idk if it will turn out well…) Yes, I know these goals are pretty outrageous for a 114 TPE player as an Assistant Captian for a VHLM team but let’s just wait and hope. I would be very honored to have a chance at applying for this position. As a pretty well known member of this community, I think that I would fit this role and the work and effort that comes with it. It is unfortunate to see Sonnet leave, and I think that I have what I takes to take on this challenge. If selected, I hope this will turn out as amazing and valuable experience, as well as one I will cherish for a long time. My resume is filled with experience, such as being one of Fong's many sons/daughters, a kid who has been banned from the VHL discord over 10 times, a person who people can't explain in words, and someone who has gotten their discord account and alts disabled multiple times. I know that my activity on the forums is not as great as many other applicants, but I am working to improve that and become a more well known and involved person here. Hello VHL, I recently have been going on and off the VHL discord for the past few weeks, and I know that it was selfish and wrong for me to put this community at risk for my own pleasure. Although I want to communicate through discord seeing that it is easier to interact with people, I don't think the rules would condone this seeing I am still 12 years old. This does not mean I will be leaving the forums, it will just mean that for the next 9 or so months, I will not be on the VHL community discord. I will continue to check the forums and hang around in the Wolves and Mexico City discord. If you are worried that I have multiple alts on the server, I have disabled all of those accounts and left the VHL. I know that I love the VHL and my actions have caused the VHL staff and commissioners to consider a ban on the Forums as well, which I did not want to happen. I sincerely apologize for what I have been doing recently, and I have put a stop to it. (Bring on the shit talk) Thanks, Eli:)
