It was 100% designed to be permanent, at least as I envisioned it. The only thing about it that was designed without an aspect of “permanence” was the fact that IF we need to remove it I wanted it to be able to be cleanly done. That’s the convenient thing about it being in the middle and the drafts taking place at the same time as the VHL. If it needs to be removed the VHLM cap goes back to 250 and anyone underneath that goes down to the team that did own them, anyone above that goes up to the VHL team that had drafted them. It’s oddly clean for something so complex. However that was never a goal, it’s designed to stay, that’s just a contingency plan in case we need to get rid of it: having a way to do so cleanly.

Not at all in my opinion. On paper it may sound like a clean solution but it presents a major problem in practice: where do the players go? Moving the teams this season was easy because they basically had no assets anyway but VHLE teams will keep their players for a season or two most likely so where are those players supposed to go if their team just gets tossed in the VHLM? They can’t play down there as they are too high of TPE and we can’t realistically redistribute two rosters worth of players every season. It just doesn’t sound just a logistically solid plan to me.

It’s more or less what was being “discussed” at the time. I was kinda surprised it wasn’t in the actual post.

Pretty much any time someone asks about doing a PT for someone else or giving them a free week or whatever the answer will always be no. The closest instance of it is this drive where we allow donations on behalf of one other member but that’s it. People need to do their own work.

@JardyB10 is auctioning off old underwear, I think you’ll do just fine.
