Not really, it’ll still give you the best bang for your buck since you can get the full cap every week and this only offers half of it. This just makes the difference much less severe so that someone joining right before the deadline isn’t behind by 200+ TPE right off the starting line. Basically the people actively putting in the work the whole time will still see a benefit but those who simply had the misfortune of joining later aren’t punished as severely.

RIP Dave. I don’t recall having many conversations with you over the years but that doesn’t make it sting any less when the VHL loses one of its own, especially so young and especially someone who was around for so long back in the day. I wonder if we have any of his old GFX lying around? Could put something up on the portal maybe.

We’ve had both wildcards and crossover before, I never cared for either one.

We could definitely try it again but we have tried in the past. It cost a small fortune and got us barely any viability and no members. Could have been how the demographics were set up, Im not sure, but it definitely didn’t work. We’ve looked into actual YouTube ads (as in not with the creators) and the cost for return was insanely too high to be valuable. Again though, might have been set up wrong. Not shitting on your ideas at all of course, just pointing out what has been looked at and what might have been the flaws with them.

Those are being updated currently, @Quik is working on it. Because yes, they are outdated and over overly complicated.

That says do your best, it’s a suggestion more than anything. Graders checking on stuff is really just to make sure people aren’t posting complete garbage or on-league related things. The standards are not ridiculously high and having poor grammar is not going to knock marks off.

No??? That hasn’t been a thing since grading was abolished and auto-6 was brought in. Your task could net you reduced amounts of it’s really below standard but not for grammar? Also not true and hasn’t been for awhile. One of these days this mentality will die but apparently it is not this day. We don’t care about our “status” we care about the overall balance of the league. A lot of suggestions need significant fine tuning not because they are necessarily bad but because they are often short sighted. It’s easy to suggest something based off your personal experience but that can be done without considering that there’s 200 other people at any given time that have different experiences and all of those need to be balanced. For example, handing piles of uncapped TPE out as we have done in the past and just pulled back on. It sounds great in theory, everyone loves more TPE, and it brings the average member to decent levels. Unfortunately the average member doesn’t account for the top members who earn ridiculous amounts and become vastly broken. In the same vein, pulling back too far to account for those members indirectly affects the lowest earners. This is the balancing act of stuff like updating scales. It’s not as easy as it sounds and no decisions are made just to better any specific group. Out of order but this is being discussed because I agree that the meta of “join at the deadline or be behind” is broken. 0% because again, that’s literally not how this works anymore and hasn’t been for a long time.

That has never bothered me. What I shot down was using Twitter as a form of earning cap every week. That to me makes no sense. We’d have to police a site we have nothing to do with, our members would have to sign up for said site, our updaters would have a hell of a time checking everything, and for what? A 10th way to make the cap every week? Makes no sense to me. But sure, as a recruiting tool? Have at it.

My usual blurb as well that @Quik loves to forget about. If your job pay replaces your PT then you are eligible to claim the bonus 6 uncapped so long as you complete your job as normal. This does not apply to the 12/week claims from EFL staff.
