Yeah, I’d agree with the wildcard round. That was much more of a tossup than the standings showed. Definitely no right getting past Yukon though. By all regards they should have stomped you haha.

Honestly I could have simmed that series a hundred times and the Lynx would have lost 99 of them. It was kinda astronomical that they didn’t.

They’ve had enough luck in recent seasons, they could do with a jinxing.

So far as I recall it never has. A team I was on with Holik (probably Seattle) got it to game 7 once but I think that’s the closest to a reverse sweep we’ve ever had.

We like to keep ourselves looking young haha. I think when I joined the VHL the longest running league I had ever seen was a bit over a year and a half so it’s crazy that we’ve been going for a decade more than that.

So I did finally listen to this. Yeah, I really don’t miss the old days in a lot of ways. When I started even hockey sims ran off EA games so sims toook several hours, were a pain to update, and didn’t keep any kind of decent stats. Honestly the VHL has survived for a number of reasons but finding STHS is a main one; or at least it was early on. Back in the day I don’t think any sim leaguer would have believed if someone said there would be a league that would be still going 11 and a half years after its creation.

It’s okay, the signs I make myself are meh. Why do you think I’ve hung onto my top one so long? I rarely make any I like haha

I gotta say, not that the Lynx really expected much here but with both the semi's going to game 7 I wasn't expecting a sweep.

This. I generally never did Jersey changes because unless it’s done perfectly it’s more distracting than having not done it at all. The Sterling one was face on so it might not have been too bad but making the McCalister one work would have been hell.
