I think we outshot them in every game but Stopko finally decided to play to his actual ability so not much we can really do about it. Shitty way to end what should have been a good season and my cup-less drought moves to 17 seasons.

Just gotta keep peppering Stopko like crazy and something is bound to squeak through.

It definitely does draw things out a bit but playoffs are exciting anyway. Besides, a lot of GM’s complained back in the day about not having adequate time to adjust their lines and strategies.

It very well may not be it but for what it’s worth Ottawa and Halifax were the only ones to send me lines last night and they went a combined 4-0 this sim. So maybe they figured out something that Saskatoon and Yukon didn’t.
