    To be fair it would just be more confusing to basically everyone since I’m one of like 3 that were around back then. We usually just refer to everything as Season # to keep things easy.

    As per the Inactive Free Agency Rules it goes by posting. Someone like Quill was never linked on the portal and thus has no updates. By the update logic he’d be inactive which he obviously isn’t. @solas did in fact post once in the last 30 days, July 24th. So, by the rules, he is not an inactive. This will be moved to the regular section and teams may bid.

    Notifications on the portal were nice but obviously this is how we wanted it to be from the start so I’m glad you could get it working. Just more steps toward the ultimate merge being possible.

    He definitely got it, all new members do. I should know, my poor inbox is full of the messages. As for it's content, I don't believe it lists recruitment team guys or the first gen bonus specifically. I know we didn't want to make it have too much overwhelming explanations immediately. I think @Tagger is planning some updates for it though.

    At this point I would like to clarify that, being over two weeks removed from this, any new members joining after the birthday unfortunately cannot claim the 11 uncapped anymore. However I am merciful. You may still claim the doubles week within the given deadline, so basically this week.

    Just put the HoF ballot up for discussion this season. God damn, my fingers hurt from putting in so many awards. Can't help but feel like Holik's chances of making the HoF just went down the tube; or at least they did for the next few seasons that these guys will dominate.

      Yup, going only 6 always hinders me. Same thing happened with Mikaelson. It's weird because you shouldn't have to go a full 8 to be eligible.

      You don’t have to, it’s not a set rule. Just that going less means fewer games played which means your stats tend to be a bit skewed. That, in turn, makes it less likely. I got in as a first ballot with a Beketov and I retired him after 6. It’s possible.

      I think nowadays, when most are going the full 8, at least the ones with HOF credentials, it's near impossible to get in without at least 7 seasons, unless there was a 3+season dominance with multiple awards. Counting stats just dominate the discussion.

       

      In the OG days, Pogge got in with like 4 seasons, and one of those seasons was basically inactive since I retired him pre-season, and Snelheid got in with 6. I don't think we'll be seeing many more 6-season HOF careers, and we definitely won't see another 4-season one.
