We actually made it a few months without needing one of these! As you have likely seen by now @JeffD has decided to step down from the GM position of the Chicago Phoenix; the only GM the team has ever known I might add. This leaves us with another GM vacancy that needs filling it. As always the league would like to thank Jeff for his time behind the bench in Chicago. If you are interested in the opening, please post in this thread. Please do not contact the Commissioners outside of this thread, we will reach out to the chosen candidate privately. ***Please refrain from making comments regarding any candidates and their "worthiness" of being hired for this job, positive or negative. In the interest of fairness the originally requested name was the London Plague which is bad enough given, you know, the bubonic plague but it was also in 2020 so... yeah it was problematic haha.

VHLM* The Moscow Red Wolves were never in the VHL. Also at least in part, much like Quebec, blame the terrorist nutjobs. It's not the only reason for Istanbul's removal by any stretch but it certainly didn't help their case.

PLAYOFF INDEX @VHLM GM Here is your index for the playoffs, we will be starting these tomorrow so please get your lines and such ready in the meantime. The schedule will be the same as always. Games 1 and 2 simmed day 1; 3 and 4 simmed day 2, and any subsequently required games simmed 1 per day. Also as per the rules adding any new players is unfortunately now closed, this is a physical limitation of STHS. However anyone new up until right now have been added to your rosters so you can put them in your lines. Re-simming doesn’t work that way. You can’t just selectively choose “I need these X games” you have to redo the full days so every game would be affected by that.

The amount of people that have come into leagues during the VHL / SBA / EFL era is kinda crazy so I think a lot of people just have the mindset that leagues lasting is the norm when it REALLY isn’t. We’re all kinda the exception, not the rule. Pre-VHL leagues were lucky if they lasted a year, like insanely lucky and it was incredibly uncommon. To be at 16 years and nearing 100 seasons is honestly completely unheard of as far as I know.

Crazy idea, you could just not skip it... I mean literally if you are giving up TPE to stay down you aren't getting the benefit of the additional VHL season anyway, you're just straight losing TPE. I'm not gonna ruin the party with an argument though, do what you want.
