Chat isn’t allowed with how the site is hosted, IPB got pissed at us for it. We’re looking into possible ways to make it happen again but suggest everyone used the discord for now. Personally I hate the idea of activity checks but if there is enough support it’s simething to consider. Thing is with your version, why not just make PT’s worth more if anyone that does a PT gets the activity check anyway? They just seem redundant to me. I like the two different levels thing though. Could you elaborate on what kind of things? We talking physical things or TPE? Are they given or somewhat earned? Just flesh this out a little. That’s the goal! Gonna day his doesn’t count as a suggestion though since it is t really one. If you have any ideas on good ways to bring about discussion that would be nice to see though. I kinda like this, although would we want it for all VHLM players or just first gens? Seems counter productive to hand someone with 75 carry over extra points just for playing in the VHLM.

I would rather avoid it to get more discussion but depending on the situation it may be allowed.

VHL Suggestion Drive In an effort to improve this league that we all enjoy, starting today and ending next week (November 18th to 26th) the VHL will be having a Suggestion Drive to help bring fresh ideas into the league and drive both discussion and change. We've done this once before but in case you weren't around for it the process is very simple. During the week you can all make suggestions in the regular suggestions and complaints forum on things you would like to see implemented or changed in the VHL. All suggestions will be considered and open to both public discussion and BOG / Blue discussion as needed. So, how does this differ from any other week where suggestions could be made? Very simple, we're going to pay you for them! Each suggestion will be worth 1 uncapped TPE with a max of 5 suggestions for pay; though if you want to make extra please do. In addition if the league implements a suggestion you bring forth you will be awarded an additional 5 uncapped TPE (1 reward per member). So essentially if you post 5 suggestions and at least one gets used you're getting 10 uncapped TPE, pretty sweet deal right? So start thinking up those league changing ideas and bring them forth. No suggestion is too small or too large to be considered; let's make the VHL better together.

Indianapolis Jones: the long lost brother of Indiana Jones. Mind you I’m 99% sure that’s a reference that is simply going over my head. I just can’t handle shit quality anymore, work has broken me. I’m used to working with 6K footage (even downscaled to 1080) so low bitrate 720 just looks like hot garbage and sounds worse. I don’t worry about storage space or internet speed concerns at all though so i can afford the top quality.

Yify was good if you wanted bare bones to watch on a laptop. Sadly his quality was lacking with a proper setup since it was low quality stereo sound with very low bitrate video. To each their own but I’ll take a good quality 1080 5.1 rip over something with a small file size any day.

I haventhonestly seen a huge benefit to the Plex pass. It would have made the app free (so I can stream it to my Apple TV) but buying the app for life was the cost of Plex pass for 1 month so it didn’t really seem worth it.

Torrents + External hard drive + Plex Media Server = You can thank me later. Seriously, anything I download (so basically if Netflix doesn’t have it) I pop onto my hard drive, Plex reads it, and I have that content (with all its innornation, art, subtitles, etc) available on all my devices at home and through any web browser when I’m away. My CPU will transcode anything that the player of choice can’t naturally play so it can basically handle any kind of file wirelessly and keep everything organized. Oh yeah, and it’s free, so there’s that.

I haven’t had the most one in the world to play it (vacation on launch weekend and then new puppy right after) but honestly it’s pretty damn good. The setting is well done, the gameplay feels solid and the maps are pretty good. They have a lot to iron out on their end with the servers and stuff but that will come. Honestly it hasn’t even affected me personally that much. Im only 2 missions into the campaign but so far it’s gritty as hell which is a really nice departure from what they have been doing the last few years. They really toss you right into it and the new health system (campaign only) is definitely not forgiving. Playing it on veteran is certainly a challenge. Definitely worth a look. If you aren’t THAT interested check for Black Friday or Boxing Day sales but it’s worth picking up. P.S @Banackock CoD campaigns are generally very well done and this isn’t much of an exception. Honestly MP is the big thing for me as well but you definitely shouldn’t overlook the campaign in any CoD game. BO3 was the only one that left me feeling very meh.

To be honest I suggested this months ago when we were still doing a formal PT Staff and there were complaints from other member groups, I can't see that changing now. Closest you would get is having the old system of banking reviews return which could potentially be discussed.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I'm honestly guessing my slump is starting earlier than usual this season.
