Has TOR G been in net for any of those games against Calgary? I'm pretty sure Ironside didn't start them all which skews stats a little but. It will also partly depend which Sokolov shows up. I started the season very strong and am finishing decent but completely sucked in the middle.

What's this? A wild MWR has appeared and man do I suck at it! Oh well. Facecam has become a staple and even has a nice new overlay so you can watch me forget it's on and scratch my nose a lot. Between scratching I answer questions from @punkhippie and @Phil.

On the one hand I don't like the idea of GM's automatically being rewarded with 2 potentially franchise players that are guaranteed to never leave. BUT, on the other hand, you are right that GM's tend to care more about their team than their player (nothing wrong with that) so they will always focus on team first and potentially hurt other teams. What if they had to use a draft pick (even if it was lower than it would logically be like a 2nd round pick) to get their second player? Then it's not drastically different than something like @DollarAndADream managed but they aren't just guaranteed 2 good players for free.

Are you ignoring my most recent campaign? Bek4Builder and Bek4BoG both worked so why not Bek4Blue? Like Devise said, I don't think making it out that no one is willing is entirely accurate. @punkhippie is right, commish and GM are about the only things I've never done and personally I'd be open to the challenge of the Blue Team. At the end of the day whether we hire 1 commish or 4 (though we do need at least 2 IMO) the key is going to be getting people who will stick around and be trustworthy. Outside of that the most important thing is doing it quickly because @Higgins can't be expected to do everything himself.

I'm not saying GFX is easy for everyone or that everyone should have the exact same skill level but if this had been posted back when we were actually grading I would have given it maybe a 0.5/3 (or whatever t was out of) on effort. This is the exact kind of concern I had with auto-6. That instead of trying to ask for advice and getting better people would just use things that don't take much time and call it a day. If you were actually being graded on this would you have taken the time to get this to work or simply asked for some help on how to do it and then spent the rest of your time improving it so that your grade would be better? My guess is on the latter. There's very little motivation to improve things when you can so easily just phone it in and get the same grade. I spend an hour on a CoDCast but I could easily just spend 3 minutes and create 10 of these and be good for over a month. Does that seem reasonable?

Imagine how well I'd be doing if I hadn't completely disappeared off the face of the earth for 30ish games.

It's less about hockey players and more about having more than 2 layers of work. I know you aren't the most experienced but this is a 2 minute sig at best and that includes Photoshop's launch time.

More work = More Points. Honestly there's no one on the site that couldn't do a podcast. Even if you basically just recorded what you would normally do as an article it would probably be enough to qualify for the extra points.

To be fair there's nothing necessarily wrong with that. Assuming people are actually reformed via the prison system it's better to have them out. Prisoners don't pay taxes, citizens do. Keeping people locked up is the most costly thing a country can do. Now if they are actually still violent and likely to re-offend that's a whole different story.

That's usually more so a matter of the person involved. The RCMP don't choose to charge in an event like that, the person being "assaulted" does. If they want to throw legal fees at a case they'll lose the RCMP can't stop them. I'm not even going to touch Kendrick "over exaggerating" since that's a whole other thing and I'll let him fight that battle himself since he seems to be doing just fine.

Punching a guy once =/= assault. If you actually beat the crap out of someone I'm sure there would be more than a fine; same as anywhere else.

I did not suffer the longest punishment in league history back in season 1 just to have the league turn into a bunch of softies after! In all seriousness though I didn't even see what happened so I can't really weigh in on ban length.

Hey, I can finally come into this topic without fearing spoilers! Got all caught up last night which seems late but when you consider I watched episode 1 (of season 1) that day season 7 premiered it's actually not too bad.
