  1. Clearly the CoDCast is getting me attention, companies are just sending me free stuff! /s
  2. Got the week off which means tons of time to record CoDCasts so get your questions in and I will answer them, likely while playing terribly with a sniper rifle. @eaglesfan036 @The Bread Man @der meister @Phil @tfong @Molholt @Banackock @gorlab @JardyB10 @evrydayimbyfuglien @Jericho @DollarAndADream @Kendrick @mpclardy @hedgehog337 @Devise @Smarch @Will @Streetlite @punkhippie
  3. That's the kind of play I like to see, shutout with a good shot total. GG.
  4. I seriously need to get my shit together. Record breaking start and then completely falling apart.
  5. Needs more Kappa
  6. I do my best to answer things with reason and logic while simultaneously yelling at people for being corner camping little bitches. It's a fine balancing act.
  7. Extra long episode this week as I wanted to make sure I answered all the questions for the 50th episode special. As usual we're in Infinite Warfare trying to get camo challenges done and being generally terrible with a sniper rifle. While doing so I answered questions from @Smarch, @gorlab, @punkhippie, and @Devise as well as a weird one from @Green (See the bottom of this post for more on that) It's crazy to think I've done this 50 times now so thank you all for giving me shit to talk about while I play CoD at unholy hours. it has been a hell of a ride thus far and I don't plan on stopping now. Now then, just for Green since he said he won't actually watch it and wanted a transcript. I'm not goig to transcribe my ramblings in full because that would be insane and feature a bunch of random CoD discussion. But the paraphrased version of your answer is that I keep tagging you mostly because I've forgotten to remove you. When I initially made up the tag I just tagged a bunch of good members who maybe would respond to it. That's why @Will and @Higgins are also in there without ever asking anything. I've kept them mostly to be a troll but kept you because you happened to sign with Seattle around the last time I did a purge of it to clean out people who never asked anything. Because I tend to keep people from my team in the loop of it more I left you in; without even really realizing you never asked anything. So that's why you still get tagged every week; though asking this question now did at least get you a shoutout at the end of the video. I shall remove you from the tag if I remember to do so. *For Holik
  8. Reward: $1 million (x 3) Eggs Cost: 3 For Player: Jakab Holik
  9. Wound up having to work today which sucks for me but is good news for you guys as it means you have more time if you want to get your questions in for the CoDCast's 50th celebration. Nothing is off-limits so let me have 'em!
  10. Been waiting for something to hurt his stats haha
  11. Yup. Had no idea from the initial hint and then found it in the first topic I checked after seeing that hint.
  12. That's cute
  13. Welcome to the world of goalie, it's a weird place. Fact is that consistency with a goaltender in STHS is more or less a myth. Best you can hope for is some strong games to boost your numbers a bit. I had 5 straight shutouts and then a .800 game, it happens.
  14. I play terribly against tough opponents while trying to get sniper head shots and answer questions from @evrydayimbyfuglien, @BOOM, and @tfong. I also apologize if the sync gets a little off. It should be good but technical issues made me have to manually sync it. Hopefully those issues won't arise next week in my 50th episode special which you can leave questions for HERE *For Sokolov
  15. That's fine, I don't mind going into a bit of extra detail about it.
  16. Got all these recorded. Had a bit of technical issues this morning so it's going to take a bit to get the video up but it is done. Which means that I'm officially looking for questions in order to record the CoDCast's 50th Episode Special. By special I don't mean I'm going to do anything different really but I do plan on answering every question I get (assuming I have time to do so) and hopefully just having an all-around good time. If I can do it at a regular time maybe I'll live stream it but I doubt that will be possible. In any case, if you've ever wanted to ask a question for the CoDCast then now is definitely the time to do it as I celebrate my 50th episode. As always anyone is open to ask but I'll tag those with more of a history in doing so / the people I always tag: @eaglesfan036 @The Bread Man @der meister @Phil @tfong @Molholt @Banackock @gorlab @JardyB10 @evrydayimbyfuglien @Jericho @DollarAndADream @Kendrick @mpclardy @hedgehog337 @Devise @Smarch @Will @Streetlite @Green @punkhippie I'm hoping to get this recorded when I'm off Monday so I know it's not a lot of time to get questions in but it would be amazing if you guys could do it!
  17. At least he got 2, the rest of my players got none. I'll take that as a win regarding the VHLM for Sokolov.
  18. The joy of low shot totals :(. This dropped my S% from 1.0 to .977 in one game haha. Still a good total and I'll take 301 minutes (I blame Jardy for the early goal :P) of straight shutouts to start the season any day.
  19. We're getting closer to 50 CoDCasts and we're getting closer to solar and black sky camos! In this episode I attempt to grind out another sniper but am foiled by empty lobbies so I play around with the Howlizer instead. While doing so I answer questions from @gorlab and @punkhippie with a quick shoutout to @Da Trollfecta as well. I do have questions leftover that will be recorded tomorrow morning which will set us up nicely to get (hopefully) a huge pile of questions for Episode 50 next week. *For Holik
  20. And the streak ends at 5, in pretty miserable fashion unfortunately. Still, I'll take a shutout streak over 300 minutes. though if it was gonna be broken against Toronto it would have at least been fun for Sokolov to break it haha
  21. TBH I'll probably forget I talked about it and answer anyway
  22. Next two games are going to be weird. Do I want Sokolov to score or do I want to keep the shutout streak alive? AKA do I hate Locke or Skye more?

      DollarAndADream

Shutout streak is more important. Sokolov can get points in other games. :P

  24. Apollo Skye and Jakab Holik haven't skipped a beat despite their age coming into season 54, that's for sure. 4 games into the season the veteran goaltenders are both looking to prove their dominance as they did last season. In S53 Holik took home the Shaw for best goaltender while Skye was awarded the Campbell as MVP and the Funk as Most Improved. In any other season Skye's current stat line of 4-0-0, 0.975 S%, 0.49 GAA, and 2 shutouts would be impossible numbers to top. However Holik is currently doing just that: matching Skye's record but posting a shutout in all 4 games (240 consecutive minutes) to keep his stat line perfect at a 1.0 S% and 0 GAA. No records exist, so far as we can find, regarding longest shutout streak, let alone to start the season, but Holik's current pace is most likely record setting and could continue with his next two games coming up against Toronto where Roman Sokolov, also of the Beketov agency, will be looking to end the streak. It is worth mentioning that the 2 games Skye did not receive a shutout were against Helsinki and NY has yet to be tested in that way, however the battle is raging none-the-less. If anyone expected these two powerhouses to drop off this season it appears they were sorely mistaken. Holik's start has already allowed him to leapfrog both Satan and Aidan Shaw to place him 11th all time in shutouts with 53. Hitting Greg Clegane's career shutout record may seem highly-unlikely but if he keeps this pace up top 5 could easily be attained. Meanwhile Skye's haven't hurt his stat line either, cementing him 16th place and only 3 below the top 15 with 45 shutouts right now. Will they be able to keep up this pace? Will Holik be able to secure his second straight Shaw? When will NY allow a goal? Only time will tell. In other exciting news, Astrid Moon is currently sitting at a 0.900 S%, so that's good. @Velevra @Da Trollfecta *For Holik
