Welcome everyone here live and to those reading in the future! S85 was a step forward for the Nighthawks, improving upon our record from S84 to make it into the playoffs. While our season ended shorter than we would have liked, we honor the great players who wore our jersey this past season and made their mark! ------ The Squawk award is given out to the person who motivates the team constantly every day. They work towards creating a positive atmosphere on the team and are a motivation to other players throughout the season. The nominees are… @Steve @comrade cat @Dom And the winner of The Squawk award is… @Steve! Congratulations!! ------ The High Flyer is the Nighthawk that can be relied on in every situation! Regardless of the scenario, this player always played lights out whenever we needed them to help the team. The nominees are… @TheNeonShaman @qripll @Dom And the winner of The High Flyer award is… @qripll! Congratulations!! ------ The Stalker award goes to the heavy hitter on the team. Watching and waiting until the perfect time to strike and demolish an opponent. Big hits, fights, and physicality were always expected from this player! The nominees are… @Dom @jaredc7 @Yahtzee And the winner of The Hunter award is… @jaredc7! Congratulations!! ------ The Keeper award of course goes to the goaltender in our net who helped push the teams into the playoffs with more than commendable stats! This season, I’m proud to extend The Keeper award to @comrade cat. Congratulations, well done, and thank you!! ------ The Bird of Prey. The watchful eye in the sky that leads the flock. This player was a force on the ice in all aspects of the game. They were relentless, ruthless, and a leader. Without a doubt, they helped make up the Malmo Nighthawks each and every game. The nominees are… @Dom @Steve @qripll @TheNeonShaman And the winner of The Alpha award is… @qripll! Congratulations!!! ------ My first season with the Malmo Nighthawks, and what a great season it was! We built off the team from last season and pushed into the playoffs, bringing Davos to game 5 in the wild card round. While others may look at our season as unsuccessful, I’d beg to differ. We’re beginning a culture here that truly represents the Malmo Nighthawks. We have a great team of individuals who are willing to help each other earn and work together to make this team better. Next season, we will be better. We will be stronger. And we end S85 remembering the players that made their mark with this franchise. Well done to all, our flock always flies together!

I am more than excited to announce the Captains and Assistant Captains for the S85 Malmo Nighthawks! We have a great group of individuals on the team that represent what it means to be a Nighthawk. I’m thrilled to have them on the team this season and look forward to what they will accomplish! CAPTAIN - Igor Molotov @Dom A leader in the past as a GM and a leader on the ice as a player, there is no one greater deserving of a C on their chest than Igor Molotov. Having recently signed an extension with Malmo, their presence both on the ice and in the locker room is fantastic. I look forward to the team Dom will help lead this season! ASSISTANT CAPTAIN - Max Torq @Steve A new acquisition but one already leading the locker room, Max Torq is an exciting player on the team. He brings a lot of experience over from Seattle that is invaluable. We’re over zealous to have Max Torq lead our defensive core this season and are excited to see him in a Nighthawks jersey this season! ASSISTANT CAPTAIN - Boris Tzesar @comrade cat A goalie with a letter on their jersey?!? Absolutely. To say that Boris Tzesar hasn’t been an incredible member of this team is an outright lie; they’ve been involved in multiple facets and have been a blast to have on the team. Representing a great goaltending performance last season, we are excited to see their leadership between the pipes for the Nighthawks this season! LET’S GO HAWKS!!
