  1. Darn. Well at least picked up a point.
  2. Winning Game 69 with two goals? Nice.
  3. I'll take that as a bounce back game. My first goal in a bit too.
  4. Eh, after a long winning streak it was bound to come down to earth eventually. Still like outshooting them though.
  5. I like to give myself a few seasons' break between players to avoid burnout. I'll probably do the same after McAllister too.
  6. I'll take it. 9 game winning streak is sweet.
  7. Big win! Jokinen and V2A coming up huge
  8. Gretzky clutch in the shootout, I'll take it
  9. Always nice to get a win against... Toronto?

  11. Seattle (AP) -- Coming into the season, nobody quite knew what to expect from the Seattle first line. After last season saw a lot of shuffling between lines, Seattle's coaches thought it had settled on a distinct five heading into this season: holdovers Gabriel McAllister, Fook Yu and Alexei Federov alongside newcomers Shawn Gretzky and Fabio Jokinen. All that remained to be seen is how they would hold up during games. Well, nine games into the season, it seems that the answer is "quite well." Each of the first liners besides Federov in the top four of point scorers for their position, while all three offensive players are in at least a tie for top ten in both goals and assists. Gretzky in particular has dominated the early part of the season to the tune of a league-leading 21 points, 2 more than second place and 5 more than a tie for third (which includes McAllister). While some may point to an easier early schedule that has included three games against Quebec, many of the players still feel heartened by the explosive early start to the season. "I thought we might look this good, and it feels good to be right," McAllister told the press after a recent practice. "Sure, there may be some slowdown eventually, but don't be surprised if there's not. I think we're the most talented first line in the league, and we intend to show it."
  12. Hell yeah, I'll take no more than 5 shots a period for Calgary
  13. WELL. That's a Fooking nice first line performance once again.
  14. Player Name: Gabriel McAllister Gift #: 1 Favorite gift received: Money, honestly
  15. Except for the part where I beat him up then scored a game winner
  16. Now that's the first line I expected to see. Welcome to the Bears @TheLastOlympian07 and @jRuutu!
  17. First goal. But still, not liking this.
  18. Well, we're getting a lot of shots?
  19. Not the blowout win I'd hope for, but a win to start the season still feels good.
  20. That's some interesting font sizes. D Keaton Louth @Green
  21. Seattle (AP) -- Watching the yearly VHL awards ceremony was tough for Seattle forward Gabriel McAllister. Every year since turning professional, McAllister had won at least one award each season, be it Playoff MVP (S54) or regular MVP (S55) in the VHLM, or Rookie of the Year (S56) in the VHL. This season though, while McAllister was an All-Star, he wasn't quite good enough to be in any awards talks. "I know that I'm a young guy, and my best years are ahead. But that still doesn't mean that I can't be doing better," McAllister told reporters over the offseason. "I have the highest expectations for myself and my team. I can't see being any other way." With that in mind, Season 57 was overall a failure for Gabriel McAllister. Season 58 seems to be looking up, though, with the young forward forming a formidable first line alongside Fook Yu and new center Shawn Gretzky. Rather than stealing the spotlight from one another, McAllister believes that the three forwards with over 600 TPE - not to mention recently arrived star defenseman Fabio Jokinen - will complement each other's skills. "This will be the best season of my career - believe that," McAllister said. "Riga and Toronto seem to be getting all the championship buzz. But I don't mind being slept on; it'll make it more fun when we come from nowhere."
