  1. I made this literally an hour or so before I got traded
  2. Just a quick jersey design I did for the Rush.
  3. 1.) We got off on the right foot this season. This is great for the team, and if we keep grinding, I feel like we can be a strong playoff contender. 2.) I think it is still too early to tell, but hey, anything can happen. 3.) I'd say either Daddy Derek or Vick Fairchild. 4.) I am looking to improve my skating, puck handling, and passing. I want to get my tpe to atleast 180 by the end of the season. 5.) I dont feel that I am ready to make the jump quite yet, I still have a few seasons of growing to do. 6.) I usually go over my families house but due to the pandemic, I don't think I am this year which sucks.
  4. 1. Yes, we are in a playoff position. 2. Las Vegas is a really strong team, so we are going to have to come together and work as a team. Everybody needs to contribute. 3. Not too sure why we were slumping, I guess we just got unlucky. 4. No not necessarily. I treat every game like a championship game. 5. The tacos for sure. 6. Markus Emerson Jr.
  5. 1) Since it's not been too long since you've joined the league, what are thoughts on the league so far as a whole? I am really enjoying it so far! It was a little confusing at first but I did some more research and I understand how it works now. The league is a really cool concept. 2) Are there any areas in the league that you would like to see a change/improvement? No not really, maybe a companion app for ios would be something I would want to see in the future. 3) The VHLM Newsletter launched earlier this week, did you read it and was it helpful to you? I did read it and yes it it was helpful for me. 4) What are your aims this season in the VHLM? My aims for this season is to keep developing as a player so that maybe next season I am drafted into the VHL 5) With the teams starting to take shape, who do you consider to be the favourite for the VHLM Founders Cup? Halifax is looking really good right now sitting at 37-4-1, hopefully my team Mexico City can go far in the playoffs this year. 6a) Is there any player on your VHL team that you're particularly looking forward to playing with when you make the VHL? Probably Markus Emerson Jr. He is a good leader and a good goaltender as well. 6b) What do you think of your current VHLM team? (If you were selected in the VHLM Draft) The General Manager and Assistant General Manager were very welcoming and I am glad they gave me an offer to play for them. So far I really enjoy playing for Mexico City. 6c) If a GM were to make you an offer, what kind of player would they be getting? (If you're currently unaffiliated). They would be receiving a two way Center Man. I can do anything I am needed, whether its backchecking, forechecking, scoring, blocking shots, etc.
  6. Backround- Jonny grew up in a small town on the south coast of Massachusetts. His father was also a hockey player, so he took after him. Jonny started playing hockey when he was 4 years old. He was a standout on every team he played for. In his younger years, Jonny put up incredible numbers on his Peewee and Bantam teams. Something interesting about him, was that he not only played ice hockey, but ball hockey as well. Ball hockey is very similar to ice hockey. The have all the same rules, but ball hockey is played on foot, and with a ball. By playing both sports, Jonny was able to build up loads of stamina and endurance. He is always the fastest player on the ice as well. Jonny played on the U16 National Team for USA Ball Hockey, where he scored 5 points in 5 games and won a Bronze medal for the Americans. He played for his High School and put up great numbers. Hockey was not super big in his area, so it was tough for him to get noticed. He was invited to play in a selection only tournament up in Boston, but was injured during the second game and was out for the rest of the tournament. Thankfully, he was an offered a spot on the Mexico City Kings, and signed with them, hoping to continue his hockey career. Playstyle- Jonny is a two way playing center man. He can do anything on the ice. Offensively, he is always creating plays, looking for open spaces to create opportunities, and putting the puck in the back of the net. Defensively, he is always the first one on the backcheck. He is always positioned correctly and isn't afraid to put himself in front of opposing shots. He is always starting the breakout and leading the rush into the opposing teams zone. He is an amazing skater as well. Jonny is a team player and a great leader. Jonny (Right) is seen here backchecking on an opposing player This is Jonny playing for the U16 United States National Team in the World Junior Ball Hockey Championships in Slovakia
