  1. Review: I honestly don’t even know what to think about this !! I mean how you did it with the leaf looking burnt on fire is sick! I think it might look better with your player zoomed out more showing his body ! Fun graphic though! 8/10
  2. Totally unbiased review: This graphic is sick! The colour and logo swaps are super clean! I really like this dark burgundy red for the wranglers, the #7 on the arm and helmet are super detailed. Most of all the name bar and bright #7 is perfect! Really helps make this graphic pop! 10/10
  3. I’ll never forget you

  6. This is still pretty solid work for your first! The Canadian leaves are a nice touch for the boarder! And I think the font you chose works pretty well with the background! Obviously the photo of your gm could be cleaning and a little less blurry but solid work overall! 8/10
  7. Nathan Perry’s Rookie season! The transition from a leader and top point producer in Miami of the VHLM to rookie in London of the VHL was not an easy one, but over the course of the season Perry really came into his own. Perry knew he would have to adjust his style of play to be an everyday player in London; he wasn’t going to be the top guy but he was determined to be the hardest worker on the team. After a strong training camp Perry was given top line spot to start the season to help bring new energy to the top six. “I need you to go out there and hit everything and skate their defence into the ground.... every shift” London coach stressed to Perry before game 1 of the season. Despite his lack of production throughout the first quarter of the season; Perry did just that, he was the energizer bunny out there, always relentless on the puck. Averaging almost twenty three minutes a game Perry had the chances but was learning fast how much more difficult it is to produce in the VHL. With London’s season spiralling out of control, General Manager ( @McWolf ) made a big splash acquiring star center Kevin King. With this addition and London’s coaching staff desperately needing a new look; Perry would start to see less ice time but would still maintain a good amount of time on the powerplay. “I am a rookie, of course I want to play as much as I can and help the team win! But winning is the most important thing and there are other players that can help more with that right now” Said the rookie Perry. He went on to talk about his new team-mate. “Kev is a really good hockey player, he has proved that year in and year out; I need to be a sponge when I am around him because he can really help me as a player and a person”. While Perry’s ice time went down his play elevated, he would continue to get better and with each passing game get more comfortable with the speed of the game. Unfortunately London fell out of playoff contention with a few games left in the season; but with a strong group of up and comers London’s future was still very bright! Perry would have a terrific finish to his rookie season and ended the season with 17 goals and 37 points in 72 games. Among these stats he also delivered 135 hits which ranked fourth on the team leaders. Perry is excited about his future in London and truly believes the best is yet to come! It’s London Baby. 449 words

  10. This is A++ work! The logo swap looks great and purple is a good choice I think! Everything is easy to great and relevant! Nice touch adding hometown and draft position! 9/10
  11. Review: I really like this! The colour looks so cool throughout! I also enjoy the blurry touch to the graphic! I think the players name could use some work to help make it stand out and easier to read but solid overall! 8/10

  13. Man this is pretty solid for a first time! I know how hard it is to do! I like that you tried the logo swap for your player and it worked out pretty well! The colour on the building background is nice although it’s quite busy and makes it hard to read the player name, very solid work though! 8/10
  14. 1. Work-Gym-FaceTime and watch tvshows with the girlfriend except game days and where I drink and watch the game! Game with my brother on the weekend and see my family. 2. this is tough I love all music, maybe hip hop if I had too choose. 3. a child and that player has to take care of it until next game. 4. just some meat and cheese sandwiches with some fruit and veggies. 5. hmmm maybe a evander Kane type or Matthew Tkachuk but less of a douche. 6. but of course
  15. Review: the concept here is sick! Imagine playing a game of hockey on the beach! Obviously the low quality of the players could use some work! And I think a Boulder more prominent word font for “who needs a vacation” would look better with it being in the darker clouds! Still solid potential! 6.5/10

  18. Despite a whirlwind start to their season; London United are now embarked on their bye week! You wouldn’t believe where they were headed!!! Management honoured the captain James Rose ( @MattyIce ) with the decision on where the team went on their vacation and stressed to use this time as a bonding experience and really come together as a team! Rose knew how much his team has struggled to find consistency throughout the season and maybe just maybe this vacation came at just the right time! After spending sleepless nights trying to decide anywhere in the world he wanted to go to really shake things up; he would ask a few rookies for help; Rose didn’t want to just go to Cabo or Hawaii or Vegas! Already living in the beautiful London England... this had to be outside the box, that’s where rookies Nathan Perry and Tee Pee E II ( @Goliathus) came in! Rose wanted a younger persons aspect to get a different feel or idea flowing and with Perry being from Canada and Pee E II from the States, Rose was sure he had lots of places covered; he tried to get input from other rookie stud Yakolevsky (Russia) ( @Nepto) but something about a language barrier. After a couple long days of text messages and disagreements Rose and the rookies decided on...... Alberta, Edmonton Alberta. Although Perry was clamouring for a trip to his home province in beautiful British Columbia, and Pee E II was suggesting the Rocky Mountains, the captain ultimately decided to really shake things up and remembered his time in Calgary facing the wranglers and all he kept hearing was stories of this mall out north. The team gets onto the charter and start heading up to Canada. Knowing a long flight was on the horizon; team funny man a newly acquired superstar King ( @IamMOOSE ) brought all the games to help pass the time. Upon arriving in Edmonton most of the team was dead tired after the long flight but the captain couldn’t wait to finally in embark on this place they call West Edmonton Mall. Roller coasters, waterslides, games, arcades, and food. “Man that has got to be the scariest rollercoaster I have ever been on” said Hugh Jass ( @TheFlash) fearfully while holding onto Rose like he’s never letting go again. Perry who has been to West Edmonton mall before and experienced this coaster tried to warn some of the less enthusiastic guys about how; although breathtaking, scary the rides here really are! The team would also spend the next few days exploring different shopping centres throughout the city and eating at many different restaurants that they’ve never experienced before. Although Perry wasn’t very excited that they were coming to Edmonton because when growing up in Vancouver; Edmonton was looked down upon quite often from the city of Vancouver, he made the most out of it as a rookie on the team knowing this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend with some of these great guys. Although when everything was going smoothly and everybody was having a blast; five days into the seven day trip a player went missing……. The team agreed after a night of drinking and partying, they would all meet at the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Although Chad Magnum( @Corco ) was nowhere to be found. His teammates went on to check his room, call his phone but to no prevail! They could not find Magnum anywhere! It is now day seven; four hours until they board the plane to head back home to London, Rose was really stressing out that he was going to lose a human being on this trip that he was in charge of. Freaking out and about to lose it, Rose figured his only option was to call the authorities and ask for their help in finding their missing teammate. Then Yakolevsky spoke up “why don’t we check the mall?” Everyone with a puzzled look on their face wondering when did he learn to speak English? The captain really didn’t have any other options so they all went to West Edmonton Mall together. After about an hour searching everywhere for Magnum they heard a screech in the distance… “Help! help! ROSEY! Is that you?? I’m stuck in the ball pit” Perry and the others giggle as they cannot believe what they are seeing. “How did you even get in there and where have you been it’s been two days” said Rose. “ I have no idea all I remember is being out at that club and next thing you know I’m stuck in this ball pit, I guess the playground has been shut down for cleaning for the weekend so no one’s even come by” The team all shared a good laugh and helped get Magnum out of the ball pit, among all this commotion and losing one of their teammates they totally forgot to do the rookie dinner the first few nights. So overly stressed James Rose decided with a bout an hour to spare the rookies are going to be paying for everybody’s drinks at the airport bar before boarding their charter. “ come on man, you can tell me, how did you really get stuck in there?” Perry asked. “ it’s all a blur honestly I can’t even imagine what I got up to after I left the club” Magnum replied. Laughing over some drinks at the bar, the team really could not believe all the mischief they got into; most of the players are still trying to figure out how long Maksim has been able to speak and understand English. Quite an eventful “ vacation” but this team really got to know each other over there in Edmonton, I mean what else is there to do; their bond is stronger for the rest of the season going forward and they’re ready to get more wins in the win column and get back into the playoffs. This trip was memorable for so many reasons for all these players, somethings that can never be repeated but the question still remains for now though.... how did Magnum get stuck in the ball pit? 1,022 words
  19. Damn this is really great work! It really looks like a cover! Love all the little detail including the vacation icons and the price in the bottom corner!! I think the blending of the players when crossing could be cleaner but other then that A+ 9.5/10
  20. Super fun read! You did a great job of including everyone; while making it creative and fresh with every passing paragraph. Besides a spelling mistake here or there i would say this is perfect 10/10
