Eldredman got a reaction from Ryan is a king in Big Move on Campus!
    Possible Dynamic Duo?

    Aldwin Craig ( @Eldredman) and Ryan Coleman ( @Ryan is a king)

These are name of two guys on the up and up. They are making their names known amongst the top people in both the VHL and the VHLM. So far, that has been done separetly. Although, thanks to the GM of the San Diego Marlins (Thadius Sales @thadthrasher ), that is about to change. They have both been moved to Left Wing and Right Wing on the second line. What was the reason behind this move this morning? It appears that they have good chemistry off the ice, but is Sales correct in thinking that it will transition onto the ice as well? We sure hope so! Its quite possible that he has a few Aces up his sleeves that no one else knew about.

Aldwin Craig was picked up by the Marlins with a trade with The Mexico City Kings only days after the Drafts. Craig is currently holding 1 goal under his belt. Along with 4 hits and 6 penalty minutes. Did the San Diego GM have a hunch about Craig? Or is it much more than that? Its possible that Craig is part of a bigger plan by this young GM!

Ryan Coleman got picked up by the Marlins after the Draft. It appeared he came out of nowhere, Like Sales knew something no one else did. Coleman has an extensive and impressive background. Season 76 has only brought 4 games to the San Diego Marlins so far, and Mr. Coleman has already gotten 2 goals and earned himself a 2nd Star slot.

We all look forward to seeing what these two can do together on the same line. But, most importantly, What does the future look like for this "Dynamic Duo"?

Ryan Coleman came to the game a lot later then most hockey players, but his hard work helped him get where he is today. When he was 11 years old he picked up a stick for the first time and instantly fell in love with the sport. After playing for his local town team for 3 years, Ryan had the chance to play for his high school team. He took the chance with it and set the world on fire, scoring 51 points in just 21 games as a true freshman. He also chipped in 9 points in 4 playoff games to help his high school claim the New Jersey state championship. Figuring out the competition he was playing was weak, Ryan choice to transfer to the prestigious Avon Farms to keep playing. He helped lead the team to a 26-1 record while scoring 42 points as a sophomore. The following season was more flashes of greatness as he netted 84 points in 24 games leading them to back to back state championships. Don Cherry was quoted as saying “ This is one of the best American prospects we have seen in a while, he will be a special player for sure for a long time.” Coleman decided to chose a path that would allow him to graduate early. After news came out that the young man was looking for a professional contract at the age of 17 he signed with the first team that offered, the San Diego Marlins. When asked why he chose the Marlins Coleman had the following to say “The GM and coaching staff really hit it home for me. I enjoyed the visit and the culture around the team. I look forward to calling this place my home”. Coleman signed a 1 year 1.5 million dollar contract and is eligible for the VHL or VHLM draft come this offseason. His former coaches and teammates have such praise for the kid. Scoring is what this kid does. He is the very definition of an underdog, coming to the game so young and still having remarkably success that points to pure talent. It also should be noted he has some hockey in his blood, his uncle played 12 seasons in the KHL winning 3 championships and leading the league in scoring twice. Only time will tell what the former high school great will do. He currently sits with one point in his first two games as a pro.

    Aldwin Craig - LW
    Mexico City Kings S76 - 48th OA
San Diego Marlins S76 - Trade
    6'2'' - 210 lbs

    Strengths

Defense - Craig plays Offense in hockey, but hes a Defensive man at heart. He has always vowed to protect his teammates from the goons of other teams.

Strength - Craig has good size for a hockey player (at least he thinks he does) at 6'2'' and 210 pounds. His size is more than just a couple random numbers, as he also possesses great strength at the VHLM League level. Although this won't stand out quite as much in the big leagues, it's something he relies a lot upon while he plays for the Marlins.

Passing - Perhaps due to his fear of having the puck, Craig has developed into a solid passer. He is afraid of shooting or handling the puck at the expense of protecting his teammates. How long he can continue getting lucky is unknown, but for now it is enough to impress scouts.

Fighting - Craig is really good at fighting at the right time. Rather than physical weakness or something similar, Craig's fighting strengths are a direct result of his teams hockey knowledge. He has yet to have a fight in an official VHLM game, but that is bound to change.

    Weaknesses

Scoring - As mentioned above, Craig rarely shoots the puck. He would much rather pass it off to a scorer and go back to looking out for his team. He never could protect his father and that comes back on him in the rink.

Leadership - Craig lacks confidence as a lead hockey player, since he has always been the number two guy. As a result, his confidence can rub coaches the wrong way, making it hard for him to ever show hints of leadership. Perhaps this will improve one day, but for now Craig is trying to improve himself on the hockey rink.

Discipline - The downside to Craig's ability to hit hard is his discipline. He will often get penalties for interference for not being able to stop chasing a target after the puck has been passed away. This issue usually happens after a teammate get hit by said target. This leads to the other team being able to earn too many Power Play opportunities, which can lead to disaster to the success of his team.

    Room for Improvement

Scoring - As shown above, Craig needs to work on and improve his skills at taking the shot and making it in the net. With Thadius Sales (star goal tender) as a friend, he is hoping that if he can score on Thad, then he can score on anyone.

    Introduction
Thadius Sales came into the game later in life as a 27 year old and was picked up mid season by the Halifax 21st Organization out of Nova Scotia, Canada. The mid season pick up was a surprise to most teams due to the leagues leading team had a prominent goalie that need not be replaced. It is said that Sales might have bribed his way in due to his sketchy past, but Halifax 21st has denied those claims. It appeared that Sales had thrown his past behind him and brought a new style of goalie to the league.
    Darkness of One’s Past
They say the darker the past one has, the brighter the future one can have. The same can be said for Thadius Sales. This man is open on his past in hopes that others can learn from him. Upon getting picked up by Halifax he had this to say; “I’m excited to play for Halifax. I never thought I’d get this chance, but here we are. After some time in the clink I decided to clean up my act, get on the straight and narrow, and lace up the skates again. Now you may be wondering what got me in prison. I’m not too proud of it, but I stole. And I robbed. And I kidnapped the president’s son. And held him for ransom, and I nevah got caught, neither.” It has yet to be determined why Sales got sent to prison in the first place since he says he never got caught, but we hope to get the scoop later on in his career.
    A Bright Future
After finishing up his season with Halifax, Sales got drafted by the Miami Marauders. While playing for the Marauders, he played 51 games and made his name know amongst the leagues top members. Sales racked up his stats quite quickly at the beginning of season 75. Before getting traded to the Las Vegas Aces and played another 17 games. The ending of season 75 could be said to be the start of a very exclusive career for Thadius Sales.

Sir Sales has been recently drafted to the Victory Hockey League Majors (VHL) by the New York Americans. This is a huge step for his career but a larger step for the Americans. I predict a great year for the team with Sales as their goalie. I have recently spoken to a friend of his and past paypall, Aldwin Craig. He had this to say of his role model; “This man will charge out on the battlefield of the hockey rink and lead his team to victory”. Craig seems to put Sales on quite a pedestal as a hockey goalie. It can be safe to say that he has a good reason to and so shall we. The skills of this man will be tested in his first season in VHL but he will prove to be a very valuable asset to the New York Americans.

Eldredman got a reaction from thadthrasher in *Breaking News* Aldwin Craig's First Interview
There is word buzzing around VHL currently about a new star rising up! His name is Aldwin Craig and we got his initial interview right here. Craig is showing progress towards becoming one of the greats. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, He started skating at the age of 3 and was playing on his local team by the age of 7. As Craig blossomed as a teenage superstar in his hometown, his father and role model, perished in a car accident. Mad at the world, his life started to spiral downwards. The following August, Craig began at a new high school, and it was a tough transition. "I always said to myself, I just need to get to high school and everything is going to be better." Once Craig got to high school, it wasn't all that I made it out to be. And realizing that, He sunk into a low place.

He didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. He couldn't find motivation for schoolwork. "I just didn't feel like me," Craig said. "I was going to hockey, but I was forcing myself to go to hockey." Often, he would find himself on the ice at practice counting down the minutes until it would end. Just 58 more minutes. Just 57 more minutes. Craig's grades drop and his criminal activity rised. After getting caught with a B&E, he got probation and a jailed penpal, Thadius Sales @thadthrasher. After Sales was freed, he became a role model for Craig.

"It's been huge, ever since I went out on the backyard rink with him," Lambert said. "I definitely wouldn't be where I am right now without him. He gives me good advice after games and I watch video with him." - Craig

Thanks to his new life goals and wanting to further his career, he has gotten seen by a few prospects. Getting noticed by the San Diego Marlins at such a young age is a great feat for Craig.

"It's obviously an unbelievable feeling,I'm pretty excited to be here, it means a lot to me," he said. "The guys who have played at my age before, they're super-good guys. I've been watching the world juniors since I was a little kid and now getting the chance to play is a huge honor. I never really thought about trying to play professional hockey. I know that when I skate onto the ice I want to be that forward that passes to the right spot, but more importantly, I want to make sure other teams know not to mess with us. I've always been a "protect my team" kind of guy in anything that I've done, so I feel like that will carry over into my professional hockey career. I know Sales is moving up to the VHL, but I also know he's managing a team here in the M. I'm hoping that SDM drafts me, but if they don't I'd be happy to play anywhere!" - Craig

Eldredman reacted to thadthrasher in The VHL Welcomes Another New Face
Near the end of S74 as the Halifax 21st were dominating the rest of the VHLM, they took a risk and brought in a new face onto their team, Thadius Sales. Sales entered the locker room as the team's new backup goaltender, and because of Halifax's success they were happy to allow him to get in a few games before the season ended. Starting in 4 games, Sales took away 3 wins. Shortly after Halifax was eliminated from the playoffs, Sales was released. Soon after he was drafted by the Miami Marlins and the New York Americans. As a drafted played now, Sales made his way to Miami.

In S75 Sales found some success in Miami, but it wasn't the domination that he was hoping for. Just after the mid-way point of the season, Sales found himself traded and packing his bags. Sales finished out S75 as a member of the Las Vegas Aces and is now waiting to be called up to his VHL team, the New York Americans. Sales hopes to enter the locker room not as the backup, but as the starter.

What we have seen in Sales' short career is this, hard work pays off. He's not only served as the starting goaltender for two teams, but he's also been noticed by management around the league. He was asked to step up and be the General Manager of Team USA during the S75 WJC, and now that he will be playing in the VHL he has taken a position as the General Manager of the San Diego Marlins, a VHLM team. Beyond his playing and managing skills, Sales has also been active in a mental health advocacy movement around the league. Being open with players and management about his daily struggles and history as a felon has encouraged others to be open about their own struggles and seek help and accountability. Surely, no one expected this when the older player signed onto the league not that long ago.

What's exciting is that Sales has been able to dabble in a bit of recruitment and bring in another new face to the VHL, Aldwin Craig @Eldredman. Craig, the 6 foot 2, 210 lb left winger is hoping to see his name called on draft day. The 22-year-old rookie has been training for this day for quite some time, and now his hard work is being looked at by others around the VHL. Sales had this to say:

Knowing the success that Sales has found, the VHL community is very eager to see what sort of player Craig will become and to see what he does in and around the league.

Little is known about Craig. We still aren't sure where he comes from, what he did before the start of his hockey career, what he's hoping to see through all of this, but the VHL is certainly excited to see what this young forward can and will do.

It seems that the VHL certainly prides itself on the recruitment and retention of new and young players. While Sales was an oddity and found the league on his own, many other great and successful players in the league's history were brought in through connections to friends and family members already in the league. It's possible that this could be the story for Craig. Either way, we hope to see a continued influx of new players by way of personal advocacy. Players, if you read this, be sure to reach out to your friends, family, and even fans. The VHLM is a great place for development, and success will only come after hard work.

    1. Q: What are your player's plans during this
    off-season?
A: Hoping to prep even but a small bit towards this upcoming season.

    2. Q: Halloween was just a few days ago, did your player dress up and go trick-or-treating? Did they eat any candy?
A: Do to a darned COVID case in the family, the Craig family didn’t do much this holiday.

    3. Q: After a long, hard fought season, a player can often forget about mental health. What are you (or your player) doing to maintain sanity?
A: Sanity is kept during any day with a little pew pewing at people in Verdansk now a days.

    4. Q: If your player needed to take on a part-time job during the off-season, what would it be?
A: A plumber. When the going gets tough, shit must still flow downhill.

    5. Q: Are there any changes you'd like to see happen for S75?
A: A season has yet to go by for Craig but hoping to see good things this upcoming season.

    6. Q: As professional hockey players, we know that a well-balanced diet is important. One of the most important pieces of that diet is protein. What's your favorite cut of steak, and how do you like it done (raw --- well-done, in between)?
A: The Craig family as a whole was brought up in a more, carnivorous, house. Steak is to be ate medium rare, plain. Any cut will do.
