  1. @Arceis in the same LR where I explicitly said I was 99% sure to go up to VHL for this season, but I guess he didn't read.
  2. PEN TO PAPER
  3. Stoltzy incoming.
  4. Noone doubts Agent Boga
  5. Game 46 Review The series is poised at 2-1 in favour of the DC Dragons ahead of Game 4 of the Continental Cup Finals. It's the Dragons who are the quickest out of the traps, as Ryan Vidot nets with just over two minutes gone in the game on the powerplay. The Dragons, who outshot the Menace 37-21 through the first two periods, doubled their advantage in the second period through Vidot once again. Moscow rallied back in the final period, as they mustered an impressive 22 shots on goal, but Bubbles Utonium in the DC net was equal to all of them. At the other end of the ice, Roman Lavelle scored twice in less than six minutes in the third period to take the game away from the Menace. With this result, DC can win it all in Game 5.
  6. Game Review. The Continental Cup is in the building and the puck drops in Game 5 between the Moscow Menace and the DC Dragons. The Menace, down 3-1 in the series, get off the worst possible start as Hard Markinson takes a holding minor just 13 seconds in. The Dragons make the Russian side pay with the man advantage as Darth Kaprizov nets his 11th of the playoffs to give the US side a 1-0 lead. DC takes the upper hand, despite Moscow outshooting them in the first, as the US side outshoots their Russian opponents 16-4 in the second frame. As we go into the third, Moscow is on the ropes. But an unlikely hero in Flynn Remy emerges, who lights the lamp on the powerplay with less than four minutes to go. AK92 With da Hoodie takes a penalty with less than 90 seconds to go in the third period, and while the Menace hang on until the extra frame, their luck won't last long. Just 26 seconds into the extra frame, Nezuko fires into the back of the net to give the Dragons the win, and the Continental Cup.
  7. I don't post OOC much, but I guess this is the time to do it. So Boga's going in the drafton Monday. It's certainly a different experience to what I went through with Hlo, when I was totally new to the league and really didn't know what was going on. I remember wanting to go to an EU team, and at that time it could've been Riga, Helsinki, or Malmo. Hedge reached for me at 8, and I was happy. Now it's a different story. If you look at the TPE rankings, I'm number two. Behind OD who just churns out HOF players, and several other legends of the forums. Am I able to compete with these guys? Unlikely. Do I have the track record or CV of these guys? Probably not. But I've really bought into Boga, and the ultimate goal is of him hitting 1150 TPE before beginning fighting depreciation. I know it's difficult to read much into VHLE stats, but I think the build that I'm working with him is going to make him a solid contributor. Ok, with that said. Let's look at who could take Boga. In general, it's going to be one of four teams. Riga - Yes, I'd be super keen to go back to Riga (and stay there this time). However, is Hedge going to pass on OD for me? No chance Seattle - This is where things get interesting. Hlo had some history with Bana, but you can't deny that Seattle have activity and a track record of success. Obviously there's rumours of what Seattle can do with #2 and #5. Seattle has also become all the more appealing since they got my boy @rory Helsinki & Toronto - Erm. No thanks. So there we have it. Only three teams have reached out to have a word, and one of those was merely out of courtesy. I guess draft scouting is dead? Meh.
