Literally phoning it in here to get my final 2 capped of the week as I write this on my phone. Lets go with some bullet form: - Just watched the Oilers lose. Happy for Paul Maurice and Roberto Luongo. I didn’t really care who won the cup but it would have been nice for it to finally return to Canada as the last time it happened I was 3 years old. So basically have never experienced a Canadian team win it. My thoughts are with you Oilers fans… I felt the same in 2011. Crazy to see McDavid continue to add to his trophy cabinet despite not getting the cup. - Atlas has been surging as of late, he seems to have settled in nicely on the 2nd line and has a nice thing going with Callahan. Back on the leaderboards and on track to have another career year! Depreciation ain’t doing him in just yet. - The Legion are also on fire as we hold the top of the standings and managed to gain some separation from Seattle and Malmo. Would be nice to win the Victory cup though it doesn’t really mean a whole lot in the end.

1. I said it a few weeks ago and am gonna stick with Florida in 7! They are currently up 2-1. 2. None because I am banking for my final season of depreciation 3. Nah, I don't overly like it but it definitely makes things more interesting. 4. I used to do it immediately but now I'm more chill and just do it before the weekend. 5. The Toronto Legion find themselves tied for 1st place in the North American Conference with both the Seattle Bears and Calgary Wranglers. Each team has 37 points. Toronto continues to surge winning their 7th consecutive game against the Prague Phantoms, mostly in part to some line shuffling after their previous skid. Atlas and Callahan find themselves together on the top line, and are holding their own but the real spark for the team comes on the second line with Machado and Jaks igniting one another with some immediate chemistry. Jaks and Machado find themselves both in the top 5 of all VHL point leaders, and sit within the top 4 goal leaders. Can the Legion extend this winning streak throughout the rest of the week? Will the team surpass both Seattle and Calgary take take possession of 1st in the NA conference? Can Jaks and Machado surge to the top spots of the leaderboard? Will Atlas wake up and start scoring goals again? STAY TUNED!!!!

1. I think we are just very well balanced and everyone has a solid build. 2. Tons of parity in our conference, we'll be jockeying with teams all season. Will be fun to watch it unfold. 3. Probably got to some crazy obscure islands that are expensive or super hard to get to. 4. 1851 right now which is the highest I've ever earned on a player! 5. I chose Bob to win the Beketov so I will stick with that and hope my prediction is right. 6. I have not but would be down to try it, heard they're fun to do at least once.

Couple of quick points for my final 2 TPE of the week: - Atlas has finally broken the top 5 on the all time goal scorers ranking for the Legion. Slowly working my way to the top... 32 more to go. - I recently found out via a trivia question that player Elf Shoes somehow played a full 72 games in the M last season while also playing 30 something games for Riga???? Crazy oversight. They're also below 300 TPE. Puzzling how this can happen and go unnoticed the entire time. Should someones ass be fired??? Also I do not think that should even be a trivia question lol. - Calgary finally lost today ending the rampage of their sub 400 TPE goalie. They are 12-1 to start the season, again proving why STHS makes absolutely zero sense. - Lots of discussion and debate in the BoG lately over the state of the E. It is becoming clear that as long as this league exists, there will always be issues. I firmly still believe it should be abolished. I'd like to see us just expand the M and maybe go the route of CHL with 3 minor leagues within it.

1. We have tons of firepower upfront, and a bolstered defence core. 2. So far Calgary somehow, New York also looks like a good team. The conference won't be as easy for us as many predicted prior to the start of the season! 3. I think the Panthers will win if they can stay out of the penalty box. If not, Oilers special teams will lead them to glory. It's also a question of whether Skinner can keep up the consistency or not. 4. Super important! He's been our rock for many seasons. 5. Tough to say, we all seem to be at a pretty similar pace and jockeying each sim. Will be fun to watch as the season unfolds! 6. Probably Tame Impala or Goth Babe
