Ixazaluoh Selected 5th Overall In a stunning turnout, Cadmael Ixazaluoh, the Guatemalan Defense-phenom was selected 5th Overall by the Toronto Legion in the S81 VHL Entry Draft. This came as a surprise to some as some of the bigger names in the draft seemed to slide down, making room for a pick like Cadmael to come in. When we asked about his recent selection, he had this to say: "I am grateful to the Toronto Legion for selecting me! I am excited to be a part of an organization that is looking to do good things down the road. I will be with my former linemate George Sanderson so El Pollo Loco will most certainly rise again." Ixazaluoh was selected alongside fellow former Philadelphia Reapers George Sanderson (@SpicyGecko) and Alessio Simeoni (@Alesime). "A lot of the credit has to go to our former GM, @Alex_J32 for setting us all up for success, really." After his selection to Toronto, he is expected to be drafted to the VHLE as well for S81 until he is prepared to be called up to the VHL. "I do not expect much in way of the VHLE draft as I hope to hone my skills enough to be called up to the VHL as soon as I can." Last season, Toronto sat last in the standings. "I take this as a challenge to do great things for a team that really needs it. 1: The Reaper's had a few trades happen recently. What's your opinion on the deals? I think the trades for more picks are the right direction the team needs to head. 2: Yukon and Minnesota's teams are moving up a league to the VHLE so that the European League will have 8 teams. Do you think this is an interesting idea? I just have to deal with Yukon in the VHLE now 3: Who do you think with go #1 in the VHLM draft this off season? I'm going to say either Vasile Lamb, or (hopefully) my boy El Coronel 4: Today is the final day of the World Juniors, which team brings home the gold medal? Sadly, not Team World. What a unique idea to create your players mask! I wish I was managing a goalie so I could do that! haha The tots as the base for the mask is awesome and you did a good job at blending to give it depth. My only gripe is that the leaf on top could use a little touching up of some kind, it looks too perfect. Other than that, the name on the side is very cool and the surrounding graphic is helpful in showing off the helmet. 9/10!

SICK!! I always envy people who manage to pull off the abstract-ish backgrounds well and those who can blend the motion with the background. I also appreciate the big size! I think my only criticism would have to be that the logo on the jersey could use some more touching up to look more like it's on the jersey itself, it still looks floaty to me. Otherwise, I cannot think of a single thing! Well done! 9.5/10
