  1. Juha Jarvinen the goalie from pori in Finland. The 19 goaltender is 6’8 and 220 pounds. Playing is first year in the VHLM who was signed by the Miami Marauders in the middle of the season. In 43 games played with the team his stats look like this: 22 wins, 20 losses, 1 overtime loss, a 0.889 saves percentage, a 3.8 goals against per game. Pros Jahu is a stand up goalie who has really nice vision on the ice. Using his size to cover most of the net offensive players have difficulty to score against him. He is a calm force in his net never panicking and makes saves with the most elegant and easiest way possible. His calm can help his teammates play better knowing that Juha is in the net and his zone. His best aspect of his game is his reflex timing and his hand speed, Juha using that and his vision is well positioned to make the saves but can also make quick saves if needed when he is not in the perfect spot to make the save. I asked him what he worked on to improve the most and he said: Juha: I’m working on my rebound control and my consistency between game or even period. I want to be better in consistency the most because I feel like sometimes I have a wonderful 2 first period but I fall apart in the third and make my team lose because of that. My rebound is just okay but I want that to be one of my strengths in the future. Cons Being that tall and heavy have some great aspects and some bad aspects, one of the bad aspects are Juha speed and agility. Juha is sometimes behind the play because of his speed and agility. Also moving in is crease when a one timer happens he transfers from side to side is too slow to catch the puck and the puck most of the times end up in the net. I also asked him about his speed and agility and that is what he said: Juha: That question again. Being honest with you I feel like In life I have no speed either. I’m not someone who is feeling rushed by something or someone. I am really someone who likes to take things slow and that is definitely my worst thing. I try to work on it on the ice but it’s really hard since I've been like that since I was a kid. Overall I think Juha is a good goaltender, even one of the best of his age group and I heard some speculation that is maybe going to be a first round pick, but that it’s something we are going to know in the future. 465 words
  2. 1. It’s Yun Chiang. We are mostly the more active players on the LR and we join almost at the same time the Miami Marauders so we have a friendly competition with tpe earn. 2. I feel like Colorado have a chance to win it every year but anything can happen in the playoff so it’s hard to tell. 3. It’s was a generated names from a goalie in Nhl 21 that I draft and he was so good I pretty sure he carry the teams to win two Stanley cups. 4. NHL it’s a bit fantastic but I would love if the a new teams was maybe like Mexico or Brazil it’s long fly but I feel like we can expand the sport. 5.Vhlm logo it’s probably between Mexico or Miami because I love skeletons but I need to go with Miami because it’s my team and it’s a pirate. 6. VHL Probably Helsinki I love the colors.
  3. My mission this season starting now as the goalie of The Miami Marauders is to bring this team to the playoffs. If Miami does not make the playoffs well, his mission fails. People are going to ask why you want Miami in the playoff. Because with only two picks in the last VHLM draft a seventh rounder to be exact who the players has been released due to inactivity. Ledge and Markus have built a team all in the recruiting with a mix of old players returning and new gens players. I’m going to upgrade Jahu Jarvinen at the maximum every week. With Miami currently ninth in the standings and not too far behind teams higher in the standings, I feel like Miami has the chance to do what nobody was thinking after the draft. Players in the locker room are going to have their all game after game to try to reach that goal. What mission impossible was starting this season is now turning into a mission almost accomplished. This team can do it and I’m counting on it. 180 words
  4. It’s pretty well done. It’s well done each teams is separated and you took time to see each team schedule to see what team have the most easy schedule. Love that you rated teams. I think adding rosters rates with the scheduled rates would have been nice but in general it’s really good. 8/10
  5. Love it! For a tittle article it’s well done and I don’t feel like information are missing. Love the enthusiasm from your player to the prospect goalies coming up and hope to play against you in the future. I don’t see a lot of goalie article to so it’s refreshing to see and read. 8/10.
  6. With the trade deadline coming up in just a couple of days I decided to do an analysis on what each VHLM team would buy or sell. Also to say what they have for buying or to sell depending on their Status. First off we have the Yukon Rush who are well ahead of any team in the standings they have some good picks in S81 Draft to play with if they want to grab other players or more than one. Having 1 first round pick and 3 seconds they have a lot to work with. They don’t really need someone else. With 9 players having a +/- of 40 or more these teams are well built to win the cup and are the favorite to win it. With star players like Zaza Colors, Harkat Mulds, Hulk Hogan 2 and Kyosti Karjalainen. They are pretty nasty with the puck. The second team is the Ottawa Lynx. These teams are already almost full with only one place available on their D- lines. Having 3 first rounders and 3 seconds rounders, they are built to compete for the cup this year with a bunch of elite players like Finn Davis, Austin Towbaker, Juice Box having more than 90 points in 48 games played and with the best goalie in the league The Red Menace between the pipes and a solid backup in Ed Nu. Are the team who can beat Yukon. I don’t think they have to get players to have a chance at the cup this year. The third team is the Minnesota Storm. Having great success in their last couple of games. These are pretty well built with Pekka Grubauer in the net with a save percentage of 0.884 in 16 games played with the team and players like Barry Bonds Jr, Nezuko and Nico Pearce who are their first line powerhouses. I think they already made their move for the deadline by acquiring Grubauer and big defenseman Jyuunua Pureya Oneri Desu, a bit earlier last week. They are capable of competing with Ottawa, defeating them 2 times this season and giving the Yukon Rush some difficulty in the games between them. The fourth team is the Houston Bulls. The Houston Bulls are a team who can fight for a win against anyone. With players like James glove dropper, Nils Godlander, Biggie Cheese and Cameron Eldby. Being their best players. With 1 first and 3 third rounders they can maybe bring other players to help this team be even more competitive for a deep run in the playoffs. These fourth teams are definitely buyers but I don’t know if they are willing to pay the risk or have the space to add other players to their rosters. We will see each other in a couple days. The fifth team is The Las Vegas Aces and they are a question mark with only 3 players and 1 goalie. They are surprisingly playing very well. I can see them sell or buy, but either way they are slowly losing some points in the standings with Mexico, Miami, Philadelphia and Halifax catching up to them. The sixth team is the Mexico City Kings. They don’t have a lot of picks to trade for players with, but with players like Matt Avens, Dookie Headtop and Wattson Power they have good players and good depths to make the playoffs and maybe cause a surprise by beating the teams who are better on paper. The seventh team is the Halifax 21st. Halifax had 2 first rounders, 1 second and 1 third. They have some assets to trade. These teams have been working hard on the recruitment and with that they are now climbing the standing with a powerhouse first line of Bryn Yrwy, Jacob Richard and Jorgen Von Strangle. With recently recruit Boris Tsezar in net who is doing a great job for Halifax. I think this team needs one defenseman or a center for the second line and they can have a chance against the other teams. The eight team and final spot for a playoff run are the Philadelphia Reapers. These teams have mostly built their team with new players recruited or traded. Most of the new players are with Halifax or Philadelphia. They don’t really have a star player, every player is contributing to the Philadelphia success. Only having 1 second round and two fourth round picks in the s81 draft. They only have spots for 1 defenseman, 1 forward and 1 backup goalie. Ali Des Aves is giving his team a chance to win game after game. I think this team can win a spot for the payoffs. The nine team is The Miami Marauders. They are fighting for a spot in the playoff. I don’t think they can buy some players with the assets that they have. I think they are going to do no trade and just try to make the playoffs with the pieces that they have or sell some players. With players like Yun Chiang, Mix Bag OChips and Jeremy D. They don’t have many players but with these 3 players some depth and Juha Jarvinen in the nets I think they can try to make a push for a playoff spot. These 5 teams Miami, Philadelphia, Halifax, Mexico and Vegas are all in the fight for the last four spots of the playoff and only four of them will make it it’s definitely one of the most entertaining fights between teams. Only 6 points separate all these teams. 930 words The ten teams are the San Diego Marlins. They have great teams with many players but just don’t seem to be good enough to make the playoffs these years. I think they can sell some players to be better next season. With players like Robert Wilk is definitely interesting for other GMs. The great jr and Sergey Preobrazhensky I can see GM trying to trade for these players and also the goaltenders Tadhg Byrne. San Diego was another team who was very active in the recrutement section. I’m sure we are going to see a trade or two with San Diego at this trade deadline. The eleventh team is the Mississauga Hounds. They only have two players on their roster: Nayt Bedard and Mikhail Lospenov. I don’t know if there is a rule for the minimum players on the teams but if there isn’t one I think GMs are going to try to grab these players for their teams. The last team is the Saskatoon Wild. Having six players who are on their roster I think their two most valuable assets are Harry Fingers and Bob Vladovechsenkchushkin who are probably going to be traded. In two days the trade deadline will be over and we will see if I was right or close or completely wrong. 1149 words Claiming this the 18 and 25 October
  7. Today I’m looking at the standings and I see Miami in seventh position. They were one of the bottom teams a couple of weeks ago. What happened to this team who is now fighting is way into a playoff spot. Only 1 point behind Halifax and 2 points ahead of Mexico and Philadelphia. In the last 10 games of Miami they are 7-3 losing to Ottawa, Mexico and Halifax. Miami seems to have finally found their identity this season. Against the Mississauga Hounds they Win 3-2. A huge contribution of that win was between the pipes with Juha Jarvinen stopping 32 of the 34 shots directed at him for a 0.941% save. Huge games from Jeremy D and Yun Chiang who have both contributed to the scores with 3 apples each. We can’t forget the two goals by Xiaoping Benguin Dinghao. The second game for the Miami Marauders was against The Mexico City Kings. Big Eli scored the first goal for Mexico from a juicy rebound left by Juha Jarvinen with only 1:11 minutes played in the period. 184 words. Since that goal Juha was a wall in his net saving all the shots. The game finished 3-1 for Miami and Juha Jarvinen finished with a 0.964% saves. Nominate second star of the game. With the help of Yun Chiang, Mix Bag OChips and Xiaoping Benguin Dinghao with two points each. 235 Words
  8. Love it all the stats show that you did your research and I really like the little resume about what each goalie is good at. I just wish it be a bit longer but for a VHL article it’s very good. I will try to steal some games for sure ahaha. Great analysis in general 9/10.
  9. That’s very interesting I just reread the last article you made to have a more context and it’s very interesting how you made the interview know about the TPE. Im very intrigued on how the next article will be. It’s almost like your favorite movie ends up in the middle on a action scene and you like wait it’s done and you sit there thinking about all could happen in the next scene staring at the black screen. Lmao I’m just very intrigued on what it’s going to happen next. 10/10
  10. 1. I think we do. Every time we play a games we are better on the next one I think we make the playoff this year with that team, but we miss some pieces to be competitive in the playoff. 2. I’m playing better then I hoped we need every little points in the standings. 3. The locker room, it’s a place where we can talk about what the team need or talk about anything. 4. My birthday is the 27 of April. 5. I don’t really know it’s the first sports that I ever play, but I’m not good at it in real life. I just love to watch it on tv. 6. Yes I’m ready. It’s going to be an interesting year for sure.
  11. 1. Im just a fan of hockey in general and I saw an add online and it seems fun. 2. I’m most excited about try to win a cup or a competition in this league. 3. Not really. It’s more how, if I was a goalie and how I want it to play, to be good at. 4. Super exited play a bit and I try to improve the fastes possible. 5. Hurricane because Aho is my favorite player and that’s why my player is from Finland. 6. Yes it is and it’s super fun.
  12. Review: That article it’s insane I like all the detail. Little idea maybe team up with someone to make a graphic logos to the teams it’s pretty interesting to read what the teams is about, but I thing if we saw the logo it will give a little +. 9/10
  13. Review : its pretty clean logo swap colors swap it’s good. I’m not a huge graphic guy so I don’t know the term. But the two only things that I saw and bugged my eye is the little yellow line behind I’m and the helmet number, it’s not much. It’s doesn’t seem to be your second time you’re a natural. The key is progress on each one. 8/10
  14. The Miami Marauders are last season's champions. Are one of the teams that are fighting for a playoff spot. They didn’t have many picks in the last draft but they did a solid recrutement job to offer a contract to many newcomers to the vhlm. There are now a couple pieces missing to be competitive against the top team in the league. If their newcomers max earn their players every week with tasks or welfare. Like ledge likes to say in the playoffs anything can happen. Now let's take a deep dive on every player in the team and what they are doing to help this team make a push for the playoffs. Let's begin with the forwards. The first one is Yun Chiang who is an energetic player on the ice and in the locker room. He is certainly the player who gives energy to his teammates when needed. He always gives it all if they are winning by 4 or losing by 5 is the kind of player to never give up on any play. Sick Nuzuki, recently returning from injury, had a great veteran presence on the ice and in the locker room guiding the young players. He helped them with the experience that he got to help them become better players. Jeremy D is also a veteran player. He is also returning from injury he is the first center man and helps the team productively on offense and is also responsible in defense. He is one of the 2 players who had a +/- positive, with +5. He is a great leader for this young team. The third and final veteran on this team is Mix bag Ochips , he is the top scorer for the team, he is the heart of this offensive core. He is setting the exemple on the ice with his scoring ability. The final player is Juan Borderline Wong, he is the most recent signing player on the squad he is well known for his skating ability. He is not the most productive guy but he makes space with his speed and puck handling ability. The defenders on the other team have difficulties guarding him and he uses that to make plays. Now the only defenceman on this team is Xiaoping Benguin Dinghao Sonei, the defensive monster. Forwards on the other team try not to pass on his side. He is not afraid to fight other players if needed. A more defensive minded who can also be productive. The goalie Juha Jarvinen is a calm force in net. It seems like he is not affected by letting in a goal but he is better afterwards. He uses his height and weight to stop the puck. He is 6’8 and 220LB. He has great rebound control, agility, hand speed and reflexe. He can seem out of the play, but can make a spectacular save afterwards. Miami in my opinion is missing somes pieces to compete with top teams and make the playoffs. I trust the team management to do the best they can to improve the teams with new comers signing. 522 words
  15. Today we have the opportunity to interview one of the newest players in VHLM. Juha Jarvinen is the goalkeeper for the Miami Marauders. Interviewer: what was your head process for entering this organization? Juha: it was pretty easy. The AGM Markus was the first person to contact me to welcome me to the league. I had multiple offers on the table but the staff members definitely wanted me to be their starter goalies and were very happy when I decided to sign with them. Miami is the defending league champions and seems like a great city to play in. Interviewer: You played your first two games in the league and lost both of them. What did you do wrong in those games? Juha: I certainly was a bit stressed before the game but it was a good stress. The first game against Yukon was good. I stop most of the pucks but I know I can do better. The second game was terrible for my standards. It was a bad game for me in general. I need to focus and practice more. It is a game that I need to turn the page on and be better. 206 Words
  16. Juha Jarvinen a new goalie in the league, nobody know where is from and we rarely ear him talk. But with my help you will know who is this phenomenon in net of the Miami Marauders. Juha is born in Pori Finland rumors said that he was most of the time silent. Since he was baby he just said what was important for him eat sleep and hockey. His father was a former players on Ässät in Ligaa so Juha learn to skate at the age of 3 and started to play hockey at the age of 5. He was playing on defense is first season, but he quickly want it to be goalie when a coach ask him if the position interested him. He ask his dad first and went in to a try out. 6 kids was trying out for the goalie positions and just 2 will made the cut. Juha was the last one to try. He was watching the kid who was trying out before him and said to his dad: I’m starting and his backup. The young 6 year old stop every puck who was directed at him and complete the goalie drill with ease. The next week, the coach annonces who was making the team in each position, with no surprise Juha was the starting goalie and the kid who was trying before him was his backup. He did win all his games he played allowed only 0.7 goal against with 15 shutout and a save percentage of .969. Was the best in Scandinavia. At 12 years old Juha was expecting to win every game he play and did. He did not have any stress or anxiety with all this pression on him he was the calm goalie in the net who was able to reassure all his teammates with a single nod or tap on a shoulders. His dad was feeling the pression more then him who decide to pay a personal hockey goalie teacher for Juha. The teacher was impress by Juha who was calm in every situation the teacher throw at him. At 14 Juha was the starter with Ässät u16 development team and broke every record he possibly can in 25 games he did 17 shutout with a save percentage of .987 and a goal against of .44. Juha was a prodigy in Finland but no journalist was able to make him talk so most of the times is dad and coach responded to the media for him, his dad told to a journalist one time: it’s weird how everyone look at him strangely when is not in is goalie gear but when he put on is equipment everyone is excited to see him played. 446 words
  17. Love the media spots, love how a lot of former teammates are in the same teams. I wish to know more about what the players was thinking during the draft and during his first vhle game. 7.7/10
  18. That’s my teammate!!!! Good stories, it’s well written love the atmosphere with Yun Chiang parents. But I’m intrigued to now more about what relation that Yun have with his parents. 8/10. Great job teammate!!
  19. 1. We need to upgrade our defense core but I trust the GM and agm in that process. 2. Im new so I cannot say anything about that, but I will try to stop the must pucks im able too. 3. I think it’s great like I said I’m going to try to stop as mani pucks as possible. 4. My first day was eventful just sign my contract with the team met a bunch of people in the vhl community and they are all great people. 5. Im at school and takes picture a lot. Also like to play guitar. 6. I didn’t have the chance to meet him yet but looking forward on it.
