With season 47 coming to a close, I wanted to take a look back at LeAndre St. Pierre’s best games of the year. He is a virtual lock for VHLM MVP, but he has produced somewhat inconsistently over of the course of the season. He currently leads the VHLM in goals and points, but not by as wide of a margin as he expected. Clearly the best player in terms of scoring, LeAndre only has 78 goals in a season where he started on pace for over 100. This could have been a result of the influx of talent joining the VHLM towards the end of the season and the fact that St. Pierre could not train with the team any more after the first 25-30 games. We will start with his first game in a Lynx uniform. Game 1 - LSP hat trick An amazing start for LSP, scoring a hat trick and annihilating Yukon by a 6-0 final. St. Pierre logged 16 shots on goal, letting the rest of the league know that he is going to be a force to be reckoned with. He also won 11/15 face-offs, despite a 40 face-off rating. This game would set the standard for the rest of the season. First game vs. Moscow Another memorable game for St. Pierre was his first against Moscow, the team he won the VHLM championship with last year as a waiver claim. LSP recorded 3 assists and was a big part of the thorough 4-0 domination of the Red Wolves. After the game, LSP was quoted as saying "this is only the beginning. We have more work to do." First game vs. Oslo As most of you know, St. Pierre's agent, ATW, took a job as the general manager of the Oslo Storm in the off-season to help revive their franchise. ATW made it a very close game against the Lynx, forcing overtime before falling 5-4 on a Jonathan Stark game winner. St. Pierre finished with 4 points, including 3 assists and 7 shots. Even a highly motivated Oslo team couldn't take down LSP and the Lynx, proving that they will be a tough opponent for anyone this season. Highest point total vs. Moscow LSP almost single handedly beat the Red Wolves with his best game statistically, racking up 5 points in a 6-3 victory. The blood would finally start boiling for Moscow general manager Steven Stamkos after LSP told him after the game to "suck his cock, you loser." Game tying goal + Game winner in OT vs. Brampton St. Pierre showed he can be counted on in the clutch, scoring the game tying goal in the third period before winning it with a snipe in overtime for a 4-3 Lynx victory. The hat trick he recorded would be his fourth of the season in only his 14th game. LSP's 40th goal St. Pierre would reach the 40 goal mark after scoring twice in a 7-2 game against Bratislava. This also marks the half way point of the season, putting St. Pierre on a firm pace for 80 goals. While it was much lower than his blistering pace at the beginning of the season suggested, an 80 goal season is something any player would be proud of. New game-best 6 points The very next game, LSP would be a large part of the 8-0 blowout against Yukon with a hat trick and 6 points. Ottawa really started to hit their stride as a whole after this game. Last regular season game in VHLM Ottawa would fall to Bern in a shootout 4-3 in the last regular season game of LSP's VHLM career. He had 1 assist and a goal in the shootout, finishing the season with 78 goals and 75 assists for a total of 153 points and leading Ottawa to the top seed in the S47 playoffs.

Three of you faggots will be playing for Oslo next season. Get pumped.

So today I'm gonna go on a little rant because I can't figure out how to put links into my posts without the annoyingly huge link things coming into my post. It's really frustrating and I nearly rage retired my player because it was pissing me off so bad. For real though, if someone could help me out with that, I would appreciate it. It worked fine a few weeks ago, I really have no idea what changed. I am also pretty pissed that I have to watch my team lose so much because people with a lower priority are getting players over me. I guess I wouldn't be able to trade them for picks anyway, so I don't know what I'm angry about. Because honestly let's face it I'm not winning the championship this season. Ok rant over and I'm fairly certain I've hit the words limit.

1. D - John Sleeman: The consensus first overall pick, Sleeman will be a top point scorer and could lead the VHLM in assists next season. He may end up playing in the VHL instead because of his high TPE total, but he is clearly the top player and will help the playoff chances of any team he lands on. 2. D – Felipe Rodriguez: Rodriguez has opened the eyes of many around the league and is highly coveted by all the GM’s within the VHLM. With his new job as a VHLM GM, Rodriguez will get the benefit of an extra TPE per week, further helping his cause. I foresee him going second overall and rivaling Sleeman for the top defenseman in the league. 3. G – Artom Zhumbayev: Zhumbayev will be the first goalie taken off the board, most likely third overall. There is a chance that one of the re-creates such as Jakab Holik, Kendrick Cole, or Unassisted could jump up the board in the coming weeks, but Artom seems to have gained the trust of the current GM’s and won’t last long. 4. D – Sam Weaver: Like Rodriguez, Weaver was recently named a VHLM GM and will get the benefit of the extra point per week. That isn’t the only reason he will be drafted this high, though. Weaver has proved himself to be an outstanding prospect who will bring a positive attitude to any locker room. 5. C – Unassisted: Clearly the best offensive prospect in the draft, Unassisted will likely be the fifth player off the board. Striving to become the first player to score an unassisted goal in the VHLM, he will make whoever drafts him happy with his ability to pass and score out of the center position. His activity is unquestioned and might even be a candidate for VHLM MVP next season when all is said and done. 6. G – Jakab Holik: Currently the second best goaltending prospect in the draft, Holik brings a trusted name to the league and a high TPE total from his carryover. Holik has already proved that he can be a dominant player in his short time with Oslo after they picked him up off of the waiver wire, beating the first place Bern Royals. It will be interesting to see if he goes higher than this after his blistering start to his career. 7. RW – Kendrick Cole: Cole comes from another popular name, DGFX. Everyone around the league knows what this guy can bring to the table if he stays active. While he will likely drop to the end of the first round, Cole should end up being one of the top offensive players in the VHLM next season. 8. RW – Mikhail Gribov: What looked like a sure fire top five selection a week ago, Gribov drops down to the start of the second round after the recent influx of re-creates. As long as he continues to prove himself, Gribov will be equally as important as those guys are to any VHLM who drafts him. 9. C – Vincent Adultman: In the same boat as Gribov, Adultman might have to settle for an early second round selection because of the talent ahead of him. The center position is a very important one, so he might end up going higher than this depending on what the draft order ends up being.

With the influx of new players joining the league, I thought it'd be a good idea to rank them for this fan 590. This may end up being a preview for a media spot later in the week where I'll expand on my choices. 1.D - Felipe Rodriguez: Felipe is a VHLM GM and will benefit from that extra point each week, hyper active, and solid defensemen are hard to come by. 2. D - Sam Weaver: As with Felipe, Weaver is now a VHLM GM and very active, will be a great addition to any team for next season. 3. G - Artom Zhumbayev: The top goalie in the draft, Artom is improving quickly and definitely the next best player available 4. C - Unassisted: There may finally be unassisted goals!!! Way to be creative there. 5. RW - Kendrick Cole: Shitty name, but should turn out to be a great player next season. 6. G - Jakab Holik: I want to pronounce your name "Jack - ab" but I know that just sounds stupid and isn't right. How hard is it to just put Jacob? 7. RW - Mikhail Gribov: "Michael" Gribov is suprisingly going to drop to the end of the first round with all of the new recreates. 8. C - Vincent Adultman: If his username is any indication, he is going to turn out to be a great player.

I think 100 goals is out of reach now.. Had a good pace going early on but just not enough multi-goal games lately.
