Top ten North American VHL players under 500 TPE 1. (S43) RW - E'Twaun Delicious, TPE: 482 This guy is the definition of a leader. If you're looking for someone who can control the puck and set up an offense, look no further than Delicious. He is a clear first line player with the potential to lead any team to a championship. He's not going to dominate on the defensive end, but he is perfect in power play situations and can grow a young center with his ability to take pressure off of him. 2. (S46) D - Jeff Hamilton, TPE: 473 (46 Banked) Hamilton is currently making the switch to defense, which may take him some time to get accustom to. He has an interesting build for a defensemen. A very low checking rating, a moderate but still low strength rating, and not an elite passer. Still, his scoring and puck control ability is unmatched. He will play like a faster Oliver Ekman-Larsson in the NHL. 3. (S44) C - Thaddeus Humbert, TPE: 455 Humbert is a balanced center who can do it all out on the ice. He scores, defends, controls the puck, and most importantly, he is a leader. He is a lot like the man on the top of this list in a sense that he can be a first line player despite his relatively low TPE count. 4. (S42) LW - Benjamin Zeptenbergs, TPE: 423 (7 Banked) Zeptenbergs is a flat out scorer. He is definitely capable of leading a team in goals and should be counted on to provide offense on every shift. He has a knack for getting to the front of the net and using his strength to gain position and put the puck in the net on a rebound. Not only that, he can also go coast to coast for a goal at the drop of a hat. He is a very dangerous player that should be accounted for every time he's on the ice. 5. (S45) D - Arcturus Mengsk, TPE: 422 Mengsk is a two-way defensemen who is a threat to make a play from the blue line on each shift. While not the most aggressive player, he can still play defense with the best of them. He has a devastating poke check and can quickly take the puck in the other direction if you're not careful. 6. (S46) RW - Niels Skovgaard, TPE: 415 Skovgaard is your typical offensive juggernaut, but can also defend with the best of them. He could be the most underrated player on our top ten list because he can beat you in so many different ways. He can make plays anytime he steps on the ice. 7. (S41) RW - Jakub Rhinehart, TPE: 392 Rhinehart is a pure scorer who really isn't asked to do much other than put the puck in the net. Not that he could do much else in the first place. 8. (S46) RW - Shawn Muller, TPE: 391 Muller is another all-around player who really has no weaknesses. With more experience he will turn into a dominant forward 9.(S47) LW - Tom Lincoln, TPE: 373 Lincoln is the youngest player on this list, bringing more of a playmaking type of game to the table. He loves to handle the puck and get it to the scorers, but can also defend and score a little bit when needed. 10. (S46) RW - LeAndre St. Pierre, TPE: 372 LSP is a mini Patrick Kane. He is an amazing scorer and can dance with the puck better than almost anyone else on this list. He is working on other aspects of his game to make him into a true all-around threat on the ice.

1. This is a really boring time for LSP. Not only does he not have anything to do with it being the off-season, but he also doesn't have much material to write about for his point tasks. This is concerning because it is really a time where LSP needs to step up and be the first line player that the Legion need him to be this season. That won't happen if he doesn't continue to improve. 2. He hasn't had much motivation to train lately. His agent has been busy with his VHLM team and really doesn't have the time to commit to taking LSP to practices. This is quite embarrassing for LSP, considering he is a grown man and has his own drivers license and can drive his own lazy ass to and from practices. There is no excuse why he can't be doing these things. Agents can only do so much. 3. It gets boring doing these same old point tasks all the time. I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall because no one usually responds to these things and I usually don't even look through them before I click submit. I am probably over the 150 word limit I need to improve LSP a little bit. But just to make sure, I'm going to finish bullet point number three of my rant about why it's very boring to make a great VHL player.

After a season which saw the North American conference dominate the regular season only to come up short in the finals, I think there will be a turn of fortunes which see the European Conference have a successful regular season. Hopefully whoever prevails can do what Ottawa failed to do for the North American conference last season, which is win a title. Here are my way too early VHLM season 48 rankings. 1. Oslo Storm – With two of the top five picks in the draft, plus an already solid roster comprised of Pavel Komarov, Pavel Varushkin, and Dope Fiend, this is a team that should have a successful season and make a run in the playoffs. They are about the safest bet to make the finals as anyone in the VHLM next season. 2. Bern Royals – Don’t call it a rebuild. Bern has a ton of picks in the draft and their GM is about as good as any in the league. They will make the right moves and put themselves in a position to make the finals after tanking last season and stacking up draft picks, which will pay off next season. 3. Bratislava Watchmen – Bratislava is going to compete again this year, but it may be tough for them to get back into the finals with the rest of the European conference looking tough next season. They made a ton of moves during the regular season in season 47, which is something they might look to do again this season. Banana Cock definitely knows what he’s doing and already has some pieces that will make the Watchmen competitive. 4. Saskatoon Wild – My favorite to win the North American conference, Saskatoon will finally want to stop being mediocre and try to make some moves to get in a position to win in season 48. ADwyer wants to put Saskatoon on the map and this is the perfect season to do it with the talent level somewhat low. Look for them to make some in-season moves as well. 5. Ottawa Lynx – With Von Braxton leaving for the VHL, Ottawa will be put in a position where they will have to decide whether to go after another title or stack picks for next season and beyond. Jardy will have a tough decision to make and will likely fuck it up like he did in the finals last season. 6. Yukon Rush – The Rush will be in the same boat as the Lynx, but they are most likely going to start unloading players in exchange for picks a lot earlier than other teams will. This will benefit them in the future, but this season looks to be an unsuccessful one for them. 7. Brampton Blades – The Blades will get better, but still have a lot of work to do to make the playoffs. I think they are going to play for the next couple seasons, seeing that they don’t really have the roster to do anything this season. 8. Moscow Red Wolves – Moscow will suck once again. That’s what happens when you trade all your draft picks while chasing a cup. Look at the bright side, at least you won one!

After making the conference finals and nearly forcing a game 7 against the eventual VHLM champion Bratislava Watchmen, the Oslo Storm will be going full throttle at a cup in season 48. We have the 2nd and 5th overall picks in the draft and will be getting two impact players. Those players are still up for discussion, as there are a lot of great options at the top of the draft. Let's take a look at a couple. 1. Pietro Maximoff - He will probably go first overall, so Oslo won't have to worry too much about getting him. 2. Nikki Kissanen - Don't look now, but Kissanen is 2nd out of all draftees in TPE. He is a defensemen, which there are a lot of in this draft, but he's arguably the best. 3. Bobby Digital - His agent is very well known, making him maybe even a better prospect than Digital. Either way, Oslo will get to take him if they choose to go in that direction. 4. Ilya Kopralkov - The best goalie in the draft, it will be interesting to see how he's valued considering he doesn't have a high TPE count. There are a few other goalie options for contenders in the VHLM, so he might fall a bit. 5. Titan Kronos - Evans has threatened to bank his TPE if someone other than Brampton drafts him, so that might affect his stock. I don't see him falling past #5 overall, though.

Wouldn't be a shame, just a dick move. Ottawa drafted LSP my first year as Oslo GM and I won VHLM MVP. Two ways to go about it I guess.

He's definitely not getting past me, I can tell ya that!
