1. We're looking pretty good so far this season! Enough right now for 2nd so if we keep up the strong play I'm sure we'll get there. 
 
2. If we can turn some of those OTLs into wins then we should have what it takes to catch Vancouver! Only seven points between us right now and that's not much.
 
3. Hockey can be a pain where you never know what's going to happen. We just need to focus on improving and playing our game to make sure that doesn't happen again. 
 
4. Lloyd tries to sell a few PCs to fans outside the arena before the game. More sales means more points!

1. Lattimer for sure! Has all the tools to be a stud! 
 
2. We have to build that chemistry! A lot of new faces but has all the skill to compete every night.

4. Rick Grimes did a lot of rodeo, loved riding a horse. Also played tennis with his brother a lot. Don’t know if any of those relate to his success in hockey but no complaints.

1. I'm disappointed that we weren't able to make a good run in the playoffs but overall it was a good time to have a player back in the VHLM.
2. Great work! The locker room was active and you were good to remind the tea mof tasks.
3. See what tea I end up on next and keep working on the player build.
4. Of course I am! Drafts are arguably the most fun in sim leagues.

I saw the post for the Red Wolves counterparts and thought it would be fun to do this for the Bulls as well ! so here we go this is all my opinion based on what I think everyone brings to the team!
 
Todd Cooke ( l1l KRZY l9l ) Centre
Auston Matthews 
This killed me to put in here as I’m a hardcore oilers fan but the comparisons to Matthews in my opinion were there and I couldn’t ignore them. Cooke has a similar build to Matthews just slightly taller . He puts up points , puts the puck in the net and contributes on the defensive side of the puck each shift , kills penalties he does whatever is asked of him ! Cooke has worked hard to prove he can hang with the best at this level look for him to continue to get better as his career progresses!
 
Daniel Weaver ( @ThePerfectNut) Left Wing
Jamie Benn 
Weaver plays a physical position game much like Jamie Benn he’s the power forward that every team would love to have . He also has the outstanding leadership quality as the Bulls Capitan . Weaver scores goals , puts up points throws huge hits and does whatever his team needs for them too win ! Definitely in the conversation for team MVP this year !
 
Jani Karppinen ( @ShawnGlade) Defence
Cale Makar
Karppinen has been the power play quarterback/shutdown D man . Whatever the Bulls have needed he’s been that and more for them . Among the league leaders in multiple stats for defenders in the league he should without question be in the conversation for top defence man in the VHLM this year ! 
 
Brayden Albrecht ( @Gage2) Centre
Roope Hintz
Albrecht has been phenomenal for the Bulls this year plays wherever he’s been asked . He does his job very well and is a key contributor to the Bulls . Much like Hintz he is an offensive driver putting up almost point a game numbers . His importance to this team Can’t overlooked 
 
Phil Strasmore ( @Phil) Defence
Victor Hedman 
Since coming over earlier this season Strasmore has been a calming force on the backend . Contributing in every possible way the Bulls could have ever asked him too ! He’s got size , speed , great hockey IQ overall a solid add this season to the team !
 
Isamu Knievel ( @TMGSosa) Defence
Torey Krug 
Isamu was I believe an early season waiver or free agent claim . He’s a pit bull on the ice . His teammates love him and he plays his heart out every game ! Don’t let his size fool you this guys plays like he’s 6 foot 4 !
 
Damien Steele ( @73MPL4R) Centre
Nick Suzuki
Steele was a huge acquisition midway through the season from Miami . He’s come in and played excellent two way hockey for the Bulls this year ! Easily one of the top defensive forwards in the league . He can also produce at over a point per game clip as well ! 
 
Izaak Bobs (@izaak ) Defence
Colton Parayko
Bobs has been a top shutdown guy this year all year playing up and down the line up ! Easily having chemistry with any of his d partners ! Bobs is huge in size and defensive impact ! His value can’t be overlooked he is a key player in this d core !
 
Lloyd Braun ( @Toast) Defence
Noah Dobson
Braun is a promising young defender with all the makings of a future top 2 guy ! He’s been a huge mid season acquisition for the Bulls , expect him to get better from here on out !

Tage Thompson 
This guy has been an absolute force since coming over from Miami. His size alone helps him win pretty much every puck battle and makes putting up points a breeze every night . He’s complemented the top line nicely and proved to be a very valuable asset going down the stretch

Conor Sheary
this guys a Swiss Army knife he can play up and down your line up . And do whatever is asked of him night in and out ! Provides a ton of energy and is tough to play against .

Erik Johnson 
provides great depth and stability to the defensive core , all around solid player that can play anywhere in your lineup easily .

spark plug energy guy , relentless on the forecheck , can chip in offensively and defensively as well . Never takes a shift off , has been a solid depth forward since he was picked up !

Great power forward that can create plays deliver game changing hits and really impact a game whenever he’s on the ice . While not always the most flashy his impact is felt one way or another!

Very valuable depth centre , his speed and ferocity can impact a game in so many ways ! This guy is a star in the making , big things coming from him in the future !

FRANCHISE Goalie in the making , the back bone of the bulls this season . He can single handedly steal game for them or dominate from start to finish . Either way he’s going to be a top goalie for many years to come !

Lors of promise from what we’ve seen so far , has huge upside . It’ll be interesting to see how he handles the gradual increase of workload .

1. The steady moves have been promising to see because it shows we are serious about competing. 
2. Things are awfully close at the moment but I predict that we'll be able to move up to 2nd.
3. Still lots of work to do but Braun seems to at least be serviceable on the ice.
4. I'll help out with the party isntead by bringing some chips and pop for the party goers to enjoy.
5. I would love to see Braun go on a tear to move up into the top 10. 
6. Cliche but my favourite day is Saturday since it's the start of the weekend and gives me a full day to relax or do things I enjoy instead of work. 

1. Definitely a bit of a headache at 15 not really understanding how to act! Definitely some cringe-worthy memories looking back on those days that we won't go into.
2. Friendly teammates who are looking out for each other and management who makes sure we're doing whatever we can to succeed.
3. When in doubt I usually go for potato chips because we're bound to have more than a few people who would enjoy that.
4. Having a birthday party at the movie theatre and getting to see Happy Feet. Great film. 
5. I would have Dominik Hasek join the team so we can get rid of Bill Nye.
6. We just need to make sure we're getting all of our updates in and using them so the team is the best we can be heading into the final bit of the season.

2. Braun is performing fine! Seems to be all over the ice with some strong offensive and is demonstrating some defensive success too with hits and blocks. 

3. Going to have to give that to @Big Newff! Bill is making a push for goalie of the season and hopefully keeps up the strong play. 
 
4. Just need the players to keep doing what they can to earn and update their players so that everyone is performing the best they can!
 
5. We need players to stop fighting at practice and focus on winning games!
 
6. Never hungry in the morning no matter what the important meal of the day is. Supper for sure

After a brief stay in San Diego, Phil and I were flipped to Houston for a package of picks. It’s nice to be able to help out the team however we can but it would have been nice to stay on the team to see how things played out as our players got better. Things are looking good in Houston though and I’m hoping that these wins are going to keep coming and the team will be able to take control of the league!

Media was absolutely shocked when a quiet practice morning turned into heated words and fists being thrown
 

A face just begging to be punched 

HOUSTON, TX - Things got out of hand for the Bulls when teammates had to separate star goalie, Bill Nye the Puck Stopping Guy and the newly acquired Lloyd Braun after an argument broke out between the two. It was hard to hear what caused it all but it seems the disdain from Braun towards Bill Nye has been brewing for many years. 

“I used to see this guy on the TV and on videos online,” said Braun. “He’s just here for another few clicks online and doesn’t respect the game. I’m not someone who is afraid to share what I think and he didn’t like that. I don’t mind trying to sort out our differences with how we did this morning.” 

The Houston Bulls acquired Braun alongside Phil Strasmore from the San Diego Marlins for a handful of picks as the Bulls look to continue their conquest to lead the VHLM. With the team’s strong play so far it seems this altercation between teammates isn’t going to be something that management gets involved in as they’ve already announced neither player will be benched or see a punishment for what happened during the practice. 

“Sometimes things can get a little heated even between teammates,” said the Houston head coach following the practice. “It’s clear that Lloyd has been carry a grudge for some time and we just hope that the boys can focus on what’s most important here at the halfway point of the season. We shouldn’t even be talking about things like this during practice.”
“I don’t owe him an apology,” said a confident Braun. “Sure, he’s playing well in the crease but just about anyone could with the talent that we have on this team. I’ve already had to bail him out five different times now! If it wasn’t for me his save percentage would be in the gutters and no one would both giving him interview time or attention on the highlight reels.”

While it’s clear that these two players do not get along, the results on the ice are saying otherwise. Braun has been quite the team-first defender since arriving in Houston and does have five shots blocked in his eight games thus far with the team. He’s also got five assists recorded and six points total with the team.

“I need to show to the VHL teams that they can count on me on the ice,” said Braun. “There is no way that Bill Nye is going to be anything more than a celebrity taking his 15 seconds of fame in the net so I need to focus on where my career is going to take me. I know that I have what it takes to be one of the best in the game and I will be damned if I’m going to let some old man ruin all of this for me. I’m looking forward to this season being over.”

Lovely to see you again, Toast. And may I add that I love the name of your player, Lloyd Braun. Here's to no one finding your family in the freezer. Totally agree with you on the VHL Index being an incredible feature of the league that really helps with retention and simplifying the processes of the league. Grammatically, no issues at all. An easy read with nothing to nitpick on. Some people might say to add some color or a picture or whatever, but it's not that kind of media, so no need, imo. 10/10

According to my Scrivener it has been roughly a year since I stopped writing media for Phoenix Dawson and a whole lot has changed in the league since then. I’m excited to be back this time with Lloyd Braun to hopefully hit some new goals and stay active this go around. I know I’ve been saying this since Burnt toast came around but I’m sure with some work I can get back to the days of my teens when I was posting threads asking for help on finding a job… that’s actually out there somewhere. 
 
With this player the goal was to max earn. Finally hit TPE heights that I never did with Wolfe, Smyl, or any of the guys that actually had a shot of hitting some decent numbers. Well… that was until I went and claimed welfare on my first week last week because I was on a trip to Toronto. Whose idea was it anyways to create a new player in this league just before leaving on vacation anyways? Well, before I left I happened to acquire Spartan’s player in another league and that gave me the itch to see what is going on around here and sure enough that was all it took to get me back on the create a player page of the index. 
 
I’ve always felt that VHL’s index is just incredible and makes getting involved in this league so easy as a player. The part I always struggle with is reserving the time to actually talk with my team and be more vocal in the Discords that this league has. I’m always a ping away but with an endless list of servers to keep up with, the VHL ones always seem to take a hit for that unfortunately. Sorry for that, Marlins!
 
When I created my player their were M GMs posting within minutes. It was strange to see the “reply with hashtag” system, but hey, whatever works. What sold me on the Marlins was seeing Frank in the thread shortly after the post from Jacob. Still seeing the familiar faces on the league after all these years is what’s the best thing for me. I love seeing all these people sticking around as well as all of the new faces enjoying the league as well. 
 
San Diego has been great so far! While we clearly have some work to get through I’m confident that there will be more people joining up with us and I’m hoping that the season will start turning around for the group. We have a great group of people on the team and I always seem to find my way to follow Phil around everywhere no matter how many times I try coming back. I’m hoping that Braun will end up being one of the better defensive guys in the league when all is said and done and that is going to take me some time to try figure out how the new attributes work but it seems that we are on the right path for a rookie! 
 
It’s good to be back and I look forward to seeing how things go this time around.

While we clearly have some work to get through I’m confident that there will be more people joining up with us and I’m hoping that the season will start turning around for the group. We have a great group of people on the team and I always seem to find my way to follow Phil around everywhere no matter how many times I try coming back. I’m hoping that Braun will end up being one of the better defensive guys in the league when all is said and done and that is going to take me some time to try figure out how the new attributes work but it seems that we are on the right path for a rookie! 
 
It’s good to be back and I look forward to seeing how things go this time around.

Working title. 
 
According to my Scrivener it has been roughly a year since I stopped writing media for Phoenix Dawson and a whole lot has changed in the league since then. I’m excited to be back this time with Lloyd Braun to hopefully hit some new goals and stay active this go around. I know I’ve been saying this since Burnt toast came around but I’m sure with some work I can get back to the days of my teens when I was posting threads asking for help on finding a job… that’s actually out there somewhere. 
 
With this player the goal was to max earn. Finally hit TPE heights that I never did with Wolfe, Smyl, or any of the guys that actually had a shot of hitting some decent numbers. Well… that was until I went and claimed welfare on my first week last week because I was on a trip to Toronto. Whose idea was it anyways to create a new player in this league just before leaving on vacation anyways? Well, before I left I happened to acquire Spartan’s player in another league and that gave me the itch to see what is going on around here and sure enough that was all it took to get me back on the create a player page of the index. 
 
I’ve always felt that VHL’s index is just incredible and makes getting involved in this league so easy as a player. The part I always struggle with is reserving the time to actually talk with my team and be more vocal in the Discords that this league has. I’m always a ping away but with an endless list of servers to keep up with, the VHL ones always seem to take a hit for that unfortunately. Sorry for that, Marlins!
 
When I created my player their were M GMs posting within minutes. It was strange to see the “reply with hashtag” system, but hey, whatever works. What sold me on the Marlins was seeing Frank in the thread shortly after the post from Jacob. Still seeing the familiar faces on the league after all these years is what’s the best thing for me. I love seeing all these people sticking around as well as all of the new faces enjoying the league as well.
