Signups just closed for this season of VHFL, so if you didn't do that already... you missed the boat. If you signed up, you're probably looking for a good draft strategy. So am I. According to Cunningham's Law, "the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it's to post the wrong answer." With that fresh in our minds, take a look at these draft strategies, and consider providing your own strategies in the comments. 1) The Friend Team. Draft your own player and five people in the league you know the best. Bingo bango, you've got yourself a top tier beer league team that might earn you some TPE at the end of the season. Bonus: you can hype up and/or trash talk your friends all season long. 2) The Team Team. Draft players all from the same VHL team. Do you believe in your own team's talent enough to rely on them for fantasy TPE? Maybe you're jealous of another team's roster and want it all to yourself? This is a classic draft strategy that can't go wrong. 3) The Season Team. Choose a draft class and scoop up six competent players from that year. Bonus points if you choose a class that's deep in regression so that you can have a brittle old team of geezers breaking their hips on the ice every night. Well, there you have it. Three choices for your fantasy drafts, all of them terrible. I'm almost certain I'll be finishing 6th this season. Good luck, everyone!

Adventure noises ASMR podcast, I love it. Except for the parts where I was certain you were being hit by a truck, that was kinda scary. Washed up players for theme week would end in so many hurt feelings, seems like it would be a good time.

I was on a draft stream once and it's not easy to keep things lively while you wait for picks to come in, that's for sure. A few little promo things to mix in would help fill some dead air and allow hosts time to get drinks, run to the bathroom, etc and probably add some overall interest to the broadcast.

Here's my pitch to drive more of those 'clicker' accounts to the forum - make the 'Home' link on the portal link back to the forums instead of the home page of the portal. Really cement in the design that the home of the league is the forums so that people don't get 'stuck' in the portal. "But ctots, there's a forum button right there!", you say. Here's my rebuttal: if you didn't know the forum was important, what motivation would you have to click that button?

That extra TPE wouldn’t have made my player good anyway. Now I get to sit in the back of the class and make fun of the nerds with the rest of the burnouts. I regret to inform you that and and all proposed benefits, both explicit and implicit, are legally owed to ctots enterprises, llc. Failure to satisfy the terms of this agreement could result in, uh, consequences. I don’t know whether to be relieved or disappointed. Lesson learned, amirite? I just couldn’t stay away. The science is unclear on whether VHL is habit-forming, but anecdotal evidence suggests that it is.
