WHAT A WEEK FOR HASEK! Welcome back to part 3 of “Following Hasek”. was I right or was I right? Hasek has found his footing, he’s shaking off the nerves and his gameplay is reflecting that. Hasek found himself netted for a handful of games this week where he showed he can indeed dominate from the backup position. His win streak continues as his stats improve, earning himself his first shutout. The Aces have propelled themselves to the head of the pack taking control of the first place spot from the Ottawa Lynx with no signs of giving it back any time soon. We caught up with Hasek after his last game and he assured us he is feeling strong and confident in net behind his team. we’re hoping to see Hasek get a few more starts this week. Thanks for joining us for part 3 of “Following Hasek” till next week!

This graphic is clean! Not over complicated, you haven’t tried jamming a million things in trying to show off, it’s simple and well executed. The render looks great! Jersey colours and logo look flawless to me. I love the Seattle skyline in the background with the red overtone. The font is super cool, kinda looks like ripped paper. All together it looks like the kind of graphic you’d see a pro team put out. Love it! 10/10

This graphics awesome! Great choice of render, the logo has been seamlessly added to the jersey with zero faults. I love the subtle glow across the render and the cup, and the space-y background is really cool! All together everything combines well into a really solid graphic. The mirrored effect with the backside of the jersey adds a lot of depth as well! Chefs kiss 10/10

1) I 100% believe we will continue this streak. There’s a lot of good teams and a lot of good players right behind us, but we have a good group of guys that have been putting the time in to get to where we are and we aren’t letting it slip away without a good fight. 2) Juan Ceson is gonna get us some serious brownie points here. Maybe a few of our penalties get short ended a bit when no one’s looking, who knows *cough cough* 3) #1 on the ice and #1 in our hearts. He keeps the team pumped whether he’s laying a body out on the ice or keeping spirits up in the LR. #GOAT? 4) NFL, that’s the game where the guys wear the bikinis in the pool and try and drown eachother for the volleyball right? Naw I don’t watch that, can’t swim tbh….. 5) Management has been great during my short time on the aces so far. No complaints from me! But a team trip to the casino could go a long way! 6) I think this weeks gonna be reaction time and style control. Gotta get those numbers up a bit!

Welcome back to episode 2 of following Hasek, where we are following the journey and growth of Viktor Hasek, nephew of NHL hall of famer Dominik Hasek. Since we talked last, Hasek has played himself 2 games, earning two wins thus far. Though Hasek’s save percentage and GAA are below average ( .806 and 2.88), what do you really expect from a rookie so early in his career, starting with a new team after the preseason. While Hasek isn’t statistically excelling at this moment, it’s important to remember that Hasek hasn’t had much exposure in the league yet, he’s only played two games in the league so far. What we can say is after analyzing both games, Hasek displays great technical skill, great movement in the crease and an excellent awareness of what’s going on around him. Do I think he’s on track to finish at the top of the league? No. But he’s just getting started and I’m sure he’s more than nervous. But based on what we saw in his first two games, I think this kids gonna be fine, maybe more than fine; once he gets over his nerves, he’s gonna take off like a rocket and absolutely destroy the leagues greatest forwards, mark my words. Thanks for reading this instalment of “Following Hasek”, see you next week.

Wow. This is one of those rare times that I’m actually speechless. This graphic has everything the “perfect” graphic should have. Bold colours. Wide range of textures and light. The font choice is basic yet bold. I love the black and white grainy colour and texture of the entire graphic. And let’s talk about that red light! Wow! I love how it really pops, draws your eye to the graphic, and the subtle glow off the light shows excellent follow through in your technique. 100/10

What I think could make some fun 5 uncapped TPE tasks
StackThePads replied to Berocka's topic in VHL.com Articles
Wow. I completely agree that there needs to be more tasks to complete! I absolutely love these ideas. Having people complete these reviews adds another bit of reality and story line to the players and GMs being discussed, but also brings more story line to the league which I whole heartedly believe this league needs more of. I would 100% enjoy completing these tasks. They are simple at their core but they would also require enough homework and research to make them worth the TPE. These ideas were clearly well thought out. 10/10 -
I clearly need some more practice. But not the worst first graphic I could do. https://imgur.com/a/YCXbOiV

1) we’re heading into this week with with a lot of momentum, the boys are pumped. I think you’ll see a lot from the aces this week! 2) No doubt a classy act by Juan, I hear the Queen was a long time Aces fan and she even managed to get herself a Crain jersey so I think it’ll be tough on him for a bit but he’ll bounce back. 3) Miami has a lot of skill on their bench and we’re just trifling to find the weak spots to capitalize on. We’ll get there eventually, no doubt. 4) Viktor has shown alot of improvement on the ice so far and I think that’s why managment is trusting him with more and more ice time. I think he’ll use that as motivation to continue improving. 5) The IKEA bot is never wrong so I think that alone warrants the increase. But Juan is also a great player and a key element to the team so I’d definetely give it to him. 6) had a big game night Saturday night with some friends. Probably ate too much pizza but is there really such a thing as too much pizza?

Breaking News…. Viktor Hasek,(18), nephew of NHL Hall of famer Dominik Hasek has joined the Las Vegas Aces of the VHLM. Viktor grew up in Czechia, very close to his uncle Dominik whom he spent a lot of time with during his retirement from the NHL. Growing up, Viktor quickly fell into his uncles footsteps taking to the ice and learning the goaltender position from his uncle, one of the best goaltenders in NHL history. Throughout Viktors junior years in the CNHL (Czechnian National Hockey League), before arriving to the VHLM, he demonstrated a playing style very similar to that of his uncle, making crazy acrobatic saves that no human should be able to do. Will he follow in his uncles footsteps or fall short? Over the course of Hasek’s first season here in the VHLM we will follow his journey in our new segment (Hasek 2.0) Stay tuned as we follow Viktor Hasek’s first season in the VHLM.

I love this graphic whole-heartedly…. This graphic is simple, yet complex in its own right. The voice of render is amazing (not biased as a Canadian myself lol). I love how you greyed everything out so that those colours could pop in full effect. The paint splash and colour paring create a very fun and exciting look. The playfulness of the font also add a beautiful touch. Overall, I have no complaints, this graphic is extremely well done! 10/10

This graphic is sick! Usually what I find with graphics, is too many layers/elements usually creates clutter, but that’s certainly not the case here…. The gaze of the tender mixed with the dark background and vibrant foreground create a very ominous yet powerful graphic. I’m struggling to find anything wrong with this graphic at all, everything is well honed in. The colours are vibrant and that lightning really draws your eye into the graphic… Amazing job! 10/10
