  1. This is something I thought about before I even decided to make my player after I joined. Will I be as interested in this whole deal in season 8 as am now? I set a high precedent for myself when it comes to earning. Creating the graphics that I do are also a bit more involved and sustaining that for a whole career is likely not super reasonable though I will continue to try. Earning rep was certainly an initial driving factor but after seeing how little attention most posts get, my motivation shifted to just trying to create stuff I was happy about and any attention would just be a bonus. Eventually it will start to feel too much like work and after this player, I will definitely take a break. As for the GM stuff, it was very interesting to see the dedication that you all put in to the roles. Sure you get some TPE for your troubles but to do that and maintain a competitive character would be too much for me. I wonder if there is a solution that could be discussed for those who might want to lean into GMing without a player character but be able to bank only their job pay to later apply it to a player if they want to get into it again. I am relatively new so there may be something like that already in place but I haven't heard anything about it. You get your job pay but that is the only TPE you can bank. You can still participate in graphics and articles and all that but you can't earn on that as you wouldn't want someone max earning and banking for multiple seasons to come in with a 1000 TPE player. Someone could still possibly do that after a lot of seasons of just job pay but maybe the total is capped? That way, GMs can focus on GMing and not feel like they need to have a player until they are ready to do both or take a break and just be a player. Again, if this basically exists then let me know where I can read up on it lol
  2. Not boring at all! A nice, clear summary of an interesting career so far! Hopefully Jason continues to make strides in his development and becomes a successful player with a long career!
  3. Like a "Where's Waldo" of graphic details!
  4. Here we go! New season and a new team playing in the sun! Leonard plays in San Diego and is but one piece of an amazing looking team! Hopefully the jersey design is worthy of the team's performance. Tried something new with a gradient on the lower part of the sleeves. May experiment more with this! Hope you enjoy! 5. After receiving some wonderful art from @Pifferfish , I decided to hit him back with a version of the phone BG for the Reapers. Hope you like it! I may claim it if times get tough lol
  6. D - Jerome Reinhart @InstantRockstar
  7. F - Nico Pearce @DMaximus you're up!
  8. Love this amount of analysis! Your players will appreciate this along with any scouts!
  9. A lot of things to like on this graphic! I like the BG used, the name text fits nicely into the chevron shape. Colors work well with the logo as well! The logo placement on the jersey looks good and the player cutout is clean. Couple things I would look out for. It looks like the brush you used to paint out colors had a very soft edge. If the brush edge was a bit harder you would get less of the blurry look on the paint overs. Only other critique is that I would love to see the Sens logo on the pants either replaced with the London Logo or just painted over. Good job all around though! Everyone here seems to use a different software and I am mostly familiar with Photoshop so if you use that, I can give you some solid tips! 7/10
  10. 1. Very pumped! We have a good group so I expect good things! Excited to see if Leonard finds chemistry with anyone! 2. 6 goals! A statement game to show the league how it's gonna go! 3. No pre-game rituals. Leonard likes to feel as if he is always in control of his destiny, no matter the circumstances. If his jock goes on after his knee pads, he is still coming out on top! 4. McD's, McDouble with large fries, large coke. Just go a bit harder in the gym! 5. Leonard Triller got his name from a computer generated player I drafted in NHL 2005. I still create his player in every iteration of the NHL games. 6. Nope! No one has ever had a sandwich with a hotdog on it, even if you ran out of buns and had to use a slice of bread, it is still not a sandwich!
  11. Time for S86!  Let's go Marlins!

  12. In case anyone who ends up on the Marlins wants to rep on their phone screen! Gonna have to do one of these for each team I am on!
  13. Wonderfully written! I appreciate the kind words and the >102% accuracy on Leonard and his future!
  14. This graphic is very well done! I like the overall contrast of it. As you said, you had some trouble color matching. With the logo mimicking a metallic gold, it would be quite difficult to achieve that in 2D but you still shaded it really well! I like the text fill being a jersey closeup and the FG elements are also pretty nice. They are leaning to the green side and as a personal preference I would hue shift those closer to the gold of the logo but as they are, they do add variety in the color palette. 9/10 I like your stuff!
  15. KGW Custom Sticks has been having a busy off-season creating and preparing new, custom sticks for our continued partnership with Leonard Triller. As always, we pride ourselves on delivering a custom stick to match the aesthetic desires of our clients and Leonard has come to us again to help us show off his true colors and excitement for the teams he plays for. Leonard had a busy off-season playing in the Junior Showcase Tournament with the Royals. He came to us with a desire to have a more "regal", stick to play with in the tournament to honor his new team, we delivered. Larger Resolution: https://i.imgur.com/MtoYHwQ.gifv The stick has a gold leaf, fleur de lis pattern as the base layer of the stick. A few gold bands wrap the stick to break up the pattern and help showcase the added details. The JST logo was added for obvious reasons along with the Royals logo and as always, Leonard's signature. We love working with Leonard and after an exciting draft where Leonard went to the San Diego Marlins, Geneva Rush and London United, we know this partnership will grow stronger and Leonard will never run short of ideas that we can help bring to life! 16. I actually used 3D software for this. I modeled and rigged my players body and equipment in Maya in 3D and then created his head using metahuman. I pose him using the rig I created and then I imported all of it into the Unreal Engine where I then lit and rendered it out. Converted the render into a gif in premiere pro. I created the textures for Leonard's jersey using photoshop. The "ribbon" transition is actually just rectangular geometry that I scaled out in one axis. It was a lot of work to model three logos rather than the one that I usually do but I can now use those models for future graphics! Thanks for checking it out!
  17. Here we go! S86 is about to begin for Leonard Triller! All S86 graphics will drop here. S86 Gifs Will Update Here Larger version here: https://i.imgur.com/K4juIZi.gifv 50fps: https://i.imgur.com/BqFB8QL.gifv World Junior Championships in the Off-season!
  18. Had a busy week but I managed to get out a little graphic to show where and by who Leonard Triller was drafted! The drafts were a lot of fun and I enjoyed chatting with all the GMs that reached out. Thank you to those who did and to those who drafted my player! Higher Res version can be viewed here: https://i.imgur.com/K4juIZi.gifv
  19. Finally on display as it should be! If art could be more arty, this is it!
  20. Reading the title I swore under my breath as I have Kissinger as a couple of my predictions lol Thought he was done! Re-signs!
